New London, Connecticut - Scenes from the road on a drive to Norwich.

  • I drive around the city of New London. Connecticut and record video with a camera attached the the front hood go my car. Many important New London streets are covered in this video. It end with a full drive back to Norwich, Connecticut. This was recorded on April 16, 2023. Some of the roads I cover in this video in New London are Jefferson Avenue, Broad Street, Coleman Street, Bank Street, Vauxhall Street among many others.

    I'm moving to New London in a few months for work and, having never lived more than an hour from my hometown before, I've been super nervous. These videos have made me feel a bit better about it.

    Thank You for the lovely drive. I no longer own a car. The Bus gets me where I need to go these days. But I do miss the drives just for the journey and the scenery. I live in the palm of Michigan which is a beautiful place to live and makes for lovely drives in every direction. I do miss the country drives.     Awesome video, Sonny's Market has been open since the early 70's. I live in Florida now, nobody knows what a grinder is here.

    Showed my mother this. She grew up in New London off of summer street. Her well known parents owned a restaurant way back in the day on Bank Street called the half shell. This brought many memories back to her. Thank you for the video.

    Another great video Tom.I have a question regarding the stop lights on the wires do they ever get blown down in storm's, we don't have them in England.
