- I drive around the city of New London. Connecticut and record video with a camera attached the the front hood go my car. Many important New London streets are covered in this video. It end with a full drive back to Norwich, Connecticut. This was recorded on April 16, 2023. Some of the roads I cover in this video in New London are Jefferson Avenue, Broad Street, Coleman Street, Bank Street, Vauxhall Street among many others.
Looks like they haven't paved the streets since the 70s. Thank you for this video, I know all these streets so well.
Glad you enjoyed it. You’re right about the paving. Some of the roads are brutal.
I'm moving to New London in a few months for work and, having never lived more than an hour from my hometown before, I've been super nervous. These videos have made me feel a bit better about it.
I’m happy to know they are helping you. I think you will like this area. Feel free to search my channel because I cover numerous roads all over the area. Thank you for watching and best of luck.
Thank You for the lovely drive. I no longer own a car. The Bus gets me where I need to go these days. But I do miss the drives just for the journey and the scenery. I live in the palm of Michigan which is a beautiful place to live and makes for lovely drives in every direction. I do miss the country drives. Again thank you so very much for taking me along on your trip. Safe Travels!!
Lisa.....thank you very much for the kind words.
Awesome video, Sonny's Market has been open since the early 70's. I live in Florida now, nobody knows what a grinder is here.
Nothing like a good Connecticut grinder. Thanks for watching.
@@TomKaszuba Agree! Grew up in Uncasville....50 years ago.
@@Rayz571 Thank you for watching Ray.
Showed my mother this. She grew up in New London off of summer street. Her well known parents owned a restaurant way back in the day on Bank Street called the half shell. This brought many memories back to her. Thank you for the video.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. All the best to your mother.
Another great video Tom.I have a question regarding the stop lights on the wires do they ever get blown down in storm's, we don't have them in England.
I’ve live here for decades and I have never seen one blown down by high winds or weather. Thank you very much for watching Patrick.
