@@AgeOfWrestlingi personally feel like this is just very detailed and amazing storytelling. the way the black mist worked on several wrestlers kinda shows the consistency of what the black mist is supposed to do. Malakai definitely cares about his persona and keeps everything he does consistent which is really interesting to see throughout this video
Malakai is the ultimate test of ethics in AEW. I like that tug of war for turning.

This is one of the most intriguing, detailed, long term stories since Hangman’s showdown against Kenny. It feels like every one of Malakai’s mists and feuds is carefully calculated to the point where he will corrupt a good chunk of the roster to join him. Only then will people realize how extraordinary he is as not only a wrestler, but as a figure. Malakai black is the head of the table of his faction, but once he gathers enough followers into the house of black to cause panic throughout the roster, will he then take his seat in the upper echelon of main eventers in AEW and be the most dominant world champion yet
Yeah tbh Malakai as the world champion would be really cool one day. There’s an appeal in wrestling for supernatural things and Malakai can fill that void. I feel like when the story and the opponent is right then Malakai can be the worlds champion

I always loved Malakai Black for his lore and inspirations especially when he brings it up on podcasts. Great job with this video and you know Malakai Black watches this videos and he loves every second of it when people dig deeps to his characters even if its wrong or right or theories. The rabbit hole of his character is so deep that you can go to other religion, mythologies, tragedies, etc and Malakai loves it when his fans searches for it.

Malikai is just on another level. Unbelievable. I literally enjoy every time he is on my TV. Whether it's in ring, or promo. I'm a happy fan. One of my favorites.
I feel like the next person to join the house could be one of the last members of Dark Order, since they did a lot of sin before becoming baby faces with Hangman. I feel like Evil Uno or Pres10n Vance would be a good fit for them. I also just figured Pac was too much of a Bastard to be controlled, same with Penta, which is why they went dark for a few weeks, but didn't join the House like Julia did.

With Penta, Pac, Cody, etc... I rationalize that, along the Left Hand Path, "do what though wilt", Temple of Set philosophy. Malakai is not here to necessarily amass followers, but for Luciferian enlightenment. Thise who will, shall; but his targets don't need to join him or even lose to him, so long as they destroy the chains placed on their minds, shatter their illusions, & hail themselves.

Having malakai ultimately be a super cult leader that takes over half of the roster, would be the perfect gimmick for him. He can have a big ass faction that carries him to a world title and it can seem like no one can stop him. Now, this is where they can probably get into the “super good guy” winning over him and beating the evil. Wouldn’t be surprised if that happens, I just wonder who can be that super over babyface to beat him. None the less, I do think that malakai should be on his way to win the championship, and soon, and this is the way it could happen. Anyways bro, great video. Tbh for me, it’s sad that Tommy in his real life turned to such bad stuff, it’s actually quite sad cause it is some evil and dark shit and we all know that those are not good things to indulge in, even if it seems tempting to our curiosities.

Ive read a lot about Crowely and have to point out that this video is repeating many lies that were told about him. His parents were harsh fundementalists that caused some of his rebelous actions later on. The "wickedest man alive" title was given to him by press slander. Do what thou willt, means following your true will, not do whatever you want. Most of his bad behavior can be blamed on drug experimentation. Dont believe everything said about him, but also he did do some bad things.

Sting has been a very dark character for a long time, I don't think Sting will go full heel and turn on Darby but he will become a darker version of himself. Miro however is a very interesting case, I could see the curse effecting him somewhat for a while but only for his wife to pull him away from the influence and "Redeem" him.

There's one element of this story that I'm not surprised you missed, because most other people did too: Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews blew off their feud on the indies, at a WrestleCade show in November 2021. The match called back to the eye injury spot, and Malakai praised Buddy after the match. So bringing him in as his ally instead of his enemy made a lot more sense.

as a fan of malakai black and his transition to aew, i'm intrigued by this theory. i feel that story telling is something lacking in current mainstream wrestling, however this theory could led to one of the best storylines i've seen in a great number of years in wrestling.

But FR; it works a little different than that. It was likely in his nature to not believe, but it’s all the years of religious upbringing that nurtured the dark/anti-religious feelings, whether or not that was the intention of his parents.
Yeah I actually thought about that. Cause if you really look at it, Malakai being so dark now is the other side of the same coin. I had so much I left out the video when it comes to nature vs nurture because it’s so complex.

If it's indeed a series of curses, that's super eerie. If it's indeed a worked gimmick, I'll say the wrestlers are doing a great job with Black for working the storylines with subtlety and interesting details to bring back supernatural elements into pro-wrestling without making them too over the top, but still appear chilling.

What I HOPE they do is keep people guessing about what side he's on for months and then it leads up to an epic final match with Sting vs Malakai Black, likely in a cinematic match. Thus allowing Sting to ride off into the sunset as the babyface he basically always has been. He's also super religious and I can't see him going along with becoming an evil Satanic cult following character. I think he's planting the seeds to keep people guessing, much how he did when he introduced the Crow gimmick and people didn't know whether he was with WCW or the NWO. Until many months later when he showed up and beat the crap out of the entire NWO roster. It would be AWESOME to see another story like that before he retires for good and this would be the perfect opportunity.
