I’ve always loved her solo work but she’s done a lot of great duets with fantastic people. I respectfully disagree with you on your first point but your spot on about her work with other singers

Never liked Emmylou as a solo singer (her voice is too high for my taste) but in a duet with a male voice or as a back-up singer her voice is angelic.
