Just to correct here. The lottery period is 5 Mar to 25 Mar and you should get confirmation from your employer by 1 week of April.

On Jul 16, Canada will open up 10,000 3-yr open work permits to US H-1B visa holders. They can bring family members to Canada as well. Open work permit means that you can work for any employer in Canada. No LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment) and no job offer required.

I rejected H1B. Because Salary offered was 90K to me for Texas.
Overall with my wife i could save 1.25Lakh Per month INR after all deductions like Tax, Households and other expenses.
My total income with my wife in India is 1.90Lakhs. Which is more than i was getting for USA. so i stayed

There will be 2 lottery every year. 1 for All including Master degree in Mar and second in Sep only for Master degree .

80L is way good package to live a well balanced life in India. Better to continue here rather than going there unless you prioritise quality of life over money.
