What are your favorite Chao types? In this video I count down my top 10 favorite Chao types! I am using the word "type" here loosely as we look at a wide range of different Chao! Some of these Chao are quite difficult to obtain or are pretty rare, so feel free to ask any questions about the Chao in the comments!

Sonic Adventure 2 (Japanese: ソニックアドベンチャー2 Hepburn: Sonikku Adobenchā Tsū?) is a platform video game developed by Sonic Team USA and published by Sega for the Dreamcast console and the last Sonic game to be released for a Sega console and is a sequel to 1998's Sonic Adventure. It was released in North America, Europe, and Japan in June 2001 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The game was ported to the Nintendo GameCube and re-titled Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (ソニックアドベンチャー2 バトル Sonikku Adobenchā Tsū Batoru?), with brand-new features as well as minor changes in the level design. The original game and content from Battle was released in high-definition on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in October 2012. A version for Microsoft Windows was released in November 2012.
The game takes place after the events of its predecessing game: Sonic Adventure. The series antagonist Doctor Eggman releases Shadow the Hedgehog, who joins Eggman and treasure hunter Rouge the Bat to steal the seven Chaos Emeralds. The game's story focuses on the protagonists Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna and Miles "Tails" Prower as they attempt to stop Eggman and Shadow from collecting the Chaos Emeralds.

The Sonic / Shadow chaos are my favorite types. When I was younger I spent so much time trying to get them and it usually never worked. But I had a lot of fun doing it
Hero/power is a favorite of mine. (Nostalgia of my first ever chao, Chang. He was a normal chao, with phoenix wings) the tails chao is super cute.

I remember one of my favorites was trying to make a Chao resemble a Celebi from the Pokémon series, but I ended up with a green looking shiny jewel chao with no legs and two beautiful locks out of its head

My personal favorite has always been a tossup between Hero Run/Swim and Neutral Fly/Fly.
For H/R/S, I love the fact that the long prong on its head resembles a palm tree with the two extra prongs sticking out of the tip. The design is so full of personality.
For N/F/F, It's the NiGHTS Chao. Purple is one of my favorite colors, and its distinct striping on its horns and arms compliment the design so well. Also, it has the largest wings of any chao, and they look amazing.
One time,i saw my dark baby(i gived him a lot of animals)chao just stand in race-preparing pose and begind naruto running to the other side of garden,then he stoped like nothing happen.I was looking and saying him:WHAT IN THE FRIKIN HACKED HELL WAS THAT.After that i thought he watched Sonic X in the classroom with this friends(from reason to learn abaut being hero)so he like Sonic THAT MUCH to begin narut-running,what a cutie
The tails Chao were supposed to be available for download after completing this quest in Phantasy Star for the GC. A quest called The Fake in Yellow. I guess you would connect the GBA with an empty garden to receive it.
That is very correct. You had to make sure that your GBA was charged so you could get the tails chao in the tiny garden, switch games, and quickly get your tails chao into your main chao garden. If your GBA game died while the chao was still there, you'd probably had to use a different character, but you only had to be level 3 to receive it.
Hero/fly are my favorite chaos for sure! I just love them

I like the neutral chaos chao looks dope. The garden i like the most is the heaven garden. I will try out the mods, hopefully it works on steam. I never took up the opportunity to get the tails chao when I was a kid, because as you have mentioned the possibility of attaining it was difficult.
I absolutely hated the Chao garden when growing up with the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure 2. Getting the Chao emblems in the Dreamcast version was the most tedious thing (yes getting all A-ranks was easier). I'm now playing the "Battle" version of SA2 for the first time and the Chao system is soooo much better! It's actually a lot of fun raising Chao on SA2 Battle. I think I'll try raising a Chaos Chao. Thanks for showing some of the cooler ones here. :D
Neutral/Swim are my ABSOLUTE FAVES! I love their colour and design, which make them look like little frog babies XD :3

My first ever chao in Chao Resort Island(as in the fangame) was a Neutral/Swim chao. I forgot what their name was unfortunately but I always seem to come back to wanting a Neutral/Swim chao in that game or SA2. The whole type just has that "friendly sea monster" vibe that I love.
I really like the look of the chaos chao. I also really like the Tails and Amy chao. They’re both so cute. Never had a chaos chao when I played the game, but I wish I did

It was the first evolved Chao I ever got and it was a complete surprise to me. It was also very sad for my Younger self as it was also the Chao that introduced my to Chao Death. I cried about it for 4 days. It was my first introduction to what loss felt like. As I'd enter the Chao Garden, it would try putting the bubble up but I'd run straight into the waterfall to prevent it from dying and would reset my game if it lost to prevent the game from finalizing its death. My chao was so close to winning all of jewel races and the special races but it could not beat the final Chaos Chao nor the final Onyx or Diamond races.

Yeah I agree with number 9 The Dark Swim/Fly Is A Very Epic Second Evolution I Love The Dark Blue Color And The Spikes Becomes More Jagger And The Additional Spike Coming out of its head reminds me of Shark Fins

My favorite is the Neutral Run/Run chao cuz it’s sonic, I also like the neutral Run/fly+power chao, because it looks like Super Sonic if the chao is yellow (Or hyper sonic if the chao is white)

I've never warmed to Hero Chao, I find them a bit bland tbh. Neutral and Dark are far more interesting imo

I have a weird issue. I have a monotone shiny lime green chao that's the right color with brightfix off but my two tone shiny lime green chao is the wrong color with it off. If I turn brightfix on, it's the other way around with both chao. Do you know how to fix this?
Is it possible either of them have a negative mirror effect on them?

@@Choa I bought a shiny lime green egg from BM then breeded a two-tone. I was thinking about trying to fix it with krzys2's chao editor. I didn't use the chao editor prior to the issue
@@VoF92Rec it's possible I got its color from the other parent, not the green one. I'd reccomend checking out an editor. It will for sure help you out
