Wait... is THIS how they met Ronin!? I knew something must have happened offscreen but I didn't realize there was a whole video games worth of lore that no one ever told me about
Based on my understandings, this game should be canon. It mentions Ronins debts that we learn more of in season 5, it quickly explains how Zane ended up on Chen's Island (Dialog only sadly) and when we first see Ronin in season 5 the Ninja's upset about how he left them in the game. I just wish it got a full season and not just a game

Unfortunately, this game isn’t canon, although I’m pretty sure that it’s because the end of the game established that Kai’s not telling the story correctly. I’m hoping Rising Dragons will show what really happened, especially since the Obsidian Weapons most likely ended up in one of the other Realms.
Maybe at some point between Seasons 4 and 5, the ninja had an encounter with Ronin that was a bit similar to this game. Kai did mention in a Season 5 episode that Ronin left them in the mouth of something.
Okay, I'll admit that they could've done a better job on the voice actors themselves, but you gotta admit that this game does have some pretty funny dialogue.
To be honest, Zane and Kai's voice acting was questionable. But Cole and Jay's did a fine job!

The voice cast is surprisingly close to the show, and the dialogue feeling so in character helps a lot
I know it’s a pipe dream at this point to hope a game from 2015 would become an actual season but with a few small changes and maybe a little more character development to pad the runtime this would be an amazing season

I really love how the story of this video game, is really all just one huge flashback. Because at 2 points of the story- once at the beginning and then once at the end- Kai asks, "Who's telling the story? Me or you?". LOL : D

The one gripe I have is that they didn't give Zane that voice filter he has in the show now that he isn't "human" and that Wu sounds soft ngl.
I do like the fact that it kind of inspired WildBrain to let characters have more personality by making the white parts of their eyes move

The voice acting is pretty meh most of the time, but I honestly LOVE the animation! It's not as well-done as the shows, obviously, but the faces and expressions are so lively. The lip-sync is done in the same smooth style as the NexoKnights show, and the way their eyes move along with their mouths makes it all look so expressive and believable. Plus, it's kinda cool to see what Ninjago would've looked like if it were in a more NexoKnights like style. I can't look at their faces while animated and not see the resemblance to the other shows characters.
Jay is making me think so much of Benny from Lego Movie. His facial expressions, some of the ways he said things, and the fact he is wearing blue. I can so see Dareth doing that with the Stone Army. Yay, the Tornado of Creation does exist.
I have a theory that Jay & Emmet are related.
