- I'm super excited about my first time in Cambodia and I can wait to show you some of the amazing food I have found here. Cambodia has been a destination I have tried to visit a few time now and it just never worked out. But now I have arrived in Phnom Phen so let's eat. This entire video was filmed in a couple of hours at Central Market. I was able to try Kuy Teav, Crab Brain noodles, some street food donuts and Bai Sach Chrouk. I had no idea what to expect with the food in Cambodia, but let's just say I am blown away. Drop a comment on the video and let me know which you want to try or which is your favourite.

hurrah! you made it!!!! enjoy your time!
Will try my friend. Miss you!
Thanks for yet again another great food video! And the shoutout😅😅😅 That made me and the hubby grinning from ear to ear! Glad that you liked the green tomato! Time to try a red tomato. Just pick a slightly ripe one. To answer your question, I do like crab brain as well as the shrimp brain😂😂. Too puny to see and taste so yummy! I have never tried any Cambodian food. Time to visit one 😉
Edit: I would definitely eat the Crab Brain Noodles and all of the dishes you ordered plus the donuts!
Couldn't resist. I nay start doing the shoutouts all the time and leave everybody watching confused.😂
@@PureDetour Let the confusion begin 😉😉😉
Shout-out please 😊
Enjoy watching. Great video as always!!
Thank you always, Suay❤️
That is cool to visit central market to get a chance to eat what locals eat. People seemed super friendly.
Super friendly indeed, Grif. Apologies for such a late reply. Life is a little hectic right now
@@PureDetour No worries. Your videos are making me consider traveling to Cambodia.
Nics. Its like i had a wonderful tour. Stay safe my friend ❤
Hi Khan, great to see you on here. Hope all is well back in Manila
dish cambodia originate from vietnamese food thailand and china , wish you have a fun trip
Thank you my friend!
i preferred Vietnamese food over Cambodian the short time i was in the area
Me too Elf, but I have enjoyed what I have had so far. And to be fair, I can say the same about Malay, and Thai food over Filipino food
@@PureDetour when you've visited all the SEA countries you can do a video tier list, lol. Filipino might possibly be at the bottom
Delicious
Thank you my friend
The first dish is just stir fried noodles with beef.what your looking for is called Kuy teav Phnom Penh we cambodian have the soup on the side.
Thank you for the tips my friend. I am at a total loss for the food in Cambodia
Crabs have brains?😂
Try Amok. It comes with different protien. Chicken amok, fish amok... my favorite!
My wife refuses to go back to Cambodia, "too hot!" 😂 I swear it was 110° and humid when we went.🥵🥵🥵 Cambodia didn't seem as cheap as the rest of SE Asia, but we used dollars, which gets rounded up to the next dollar, no coin change.
That's what I said about the crabs too😂. Yeah, Cambodia does not seem to be very cheap (all things being relative of course) outside of maybe this market so far. $2 and change for these dishes is very reasonable. Where I am staying nothing seems to be under $7 on the very cheap end of the spectrum. Em flew in yesterday and we went for lunch and that was $30 for the two of us. Nothing special either
