I wanted to give it a couple of days to determine stability before commenting.
Thank you very much for the guide. I’ve successfully under volted the CPU straight out of the box with your help.
Finally something on MSI MOBO
Every MB has differently named options
It's hard to find
yeah i can't find on asus xD
its so coocked on asus motherboards
In light of recent events, doing this might just save your CPU from dying
I undervolted my 14700k to 1,4v maximum. It rarely goes over 80c with cinebench running on a 240mm corasir AIO cooler.
which mobo? i can't find the setting on my Asus strix z790 wifi 2 -.-
@@Untoldzero we have same motherboard, i want to undervolt using this z790 wifi 2
Thank you for this. Your channel is practical, and I really appreciate that.
Thanks Brother. I undervolted my 14700k successfully ❤
After undervolting my gpu from the instructions on this channel now its time for the cpu
btw liked and subscribed
Been waiting for this video from you for so long! Ty
i somehow managed to undervolt my 14700kf by 0.115 and its stable (havent had a crash yet). surprisingly enough, my performance has increased dramatically, while my room isnt an oven anymore
das macht halt kein sinn digga xD das einzige was sein kann ist das du pl1 auf 120 watt eingestellt hast und nur 120watt in dein zimmer ausgibst.
Lol I can relate. The room temp without AC is really bad when I use PC.
It really owrked for my 14700K using Z790P. I tested rendering using Fusion360(CPU Intensive) and temperature hit 100 on all cores with a 3 fan AIO. After following these steps, it did not go above 70.
Can I do this for my 13700kf on msi board. Same info or?
my friend. let me help you. a few things we didnt talk about here. Gigabyte Eagle AX z790 here. Bought my 14700k in june, undervolted it immediately and found a few videos and scoured the misinformation that is the internet. Was optimizing along the way and found the PERFECT configuration.

I cap all my games fps limits to my monitors refresh rate (280hz) and I have downloaded and installed every single driver from the gigabyte support page, intel support page, and a few from CPU-Z. Nvidia drivers of course from the beta. For some reason the 4070 Ti Super isnt saving the overclocks? That was really my only issue.
I also tuned the fans in the Gigabyte app 30c +40% and so on and so forth. I did the same in the bios just in case. Every fan is linked with the CPU. So when the CPU starts ramping up, so do all the fans. It sounds like a jet. But a soothing balanced jet.
I have 0 crashes. on a GPU from 6 years ago. 0 crashes rendering every single game. Im running all my games on max settings with mods. Some games do work better than others. And some mods do crash the game but never the system.
Though yes, it took me 2 months to really get this down. Constantly researching. I am just tired at this point.
I have built this computer 3 times. With all these settings for friends. Building a 4th one next week.
They have RM1000x psu's, Gigabyte 4070tisupers, with Crucial 4tb T7500 drives. They have 0 crashes as well.
Edit: some direct 12x games do crash your system. Haven't found out why yet. It reboots just fine and runs the game after. I'm not a professional but if that's my only bug RN I'll take it.
Edit: after friends computer was crashing games. I changed it back to Intel default in bios. Nothing is crashing now
this configuration just works. I hope this helps at least one person out there.
Can i use your setting at my MB - GIGABYTE B760M AORUS PRO AX? & yes CPU same as u..
@@fareezcoci4464 I don't think so. I was building a friend a brand new Z790 Aorus with a 14700k and it was not reading both ram sticks "a2 b2" whatever. Had to use b2 to get it to work . Tried updating the bios and no luck. It won't do dual channel for me using 2x32gb crucial ram. I'm actually returning this Aorus board for the Eagle Ax. I have had no problems building 3 of these Eagle Ax computers. But most of the settings should work. I disabled xmp entirely I haven't updated this yet.
@@fareezcoci4464 and the dual channel wasn't working like at all. As soon as I built it today it just wouldn't boot. No matter how long I waited.
@@fareezcoci4464 but try it! Who knows it might help! It might not! At this point building computers are just like building a racecar. Certain parts you know just work. I changed the motherboard and it only works on b1 and b2 now. That's not correct. I'm going back to the eagle ax for all builds I do. This is just a learning experience.
@@fareezcoci4464 I just updated the settings today.

Very good Video! Thank you 😎
Is this a reupload? I thought I used this video like a week ago to undervolt my i7 14700k.
Ahahaha I actually was missing the 14700K, but have already covered the 13700K and 14700F and the settings are VERY similar, so you probably watched one of those two :)
@@ImWateringPSUs Sweet, I appreciate the video.
is this good for video editing ?? or just gaming ?
u should put the caption " undervolt ur cpu 13, 14th to save ur cpu" . it will get ton of view. i folow ur undervolt i3 12, to my i5 12400f on msi h610. fps is the same temp is lower but the cenebenk drop 30% score. what dose that mean
Ahahahaha thanks for the input but I don’t like to clickbait, I like to keep it very specific :) But I’ll have a video about the crashing fix for 13th and 14th gen specifically
I've done the exact same settings on my mobo(Z790 tomahawk)couple of months ago + I've also down clocked to 5.1Ghz for more cooler and it consumes even less voltage 1.2v max. But I don't want to downclock. -0.050V is stable on 5.1Ghz but it sometimes failed in cinebench R23 5.2Ghz and in intel XTU it show message elec limit throttle but pass the 5min test(AVX2). What should I do? I want full 5.5ghz and don't want to cross 1.3v as it will degrade my cpu overtime. I wanted to keep this machine for years to come. I've spent a fortune to get this machine and Intel ruined it with voltage issue.
420 meters AIO?! I gotta see one of those!
could u do for asus too? or give us the name of the settings? i can't find it
First time i tried this on my 14700K, now my GPU & CPU got synced, about 68c both in game 😂.. I set 0.050, what you think to try 0.060 or more, for now i lose only about 50 points in Cinebench 2024.
hii bro i did this in my 14700k and yes the voltage & temperature went down max 68 when using cinebench. thanks for this!!
but in Premiere pro or editing video software the voltage spike to 1.52 sometimes & temperature goes to 88 sometimes only in editing video.
i got my 14700k with adaptive offset -0.50mv PL1=125W PL2=253W - never exceeds 1.32v and runs CB23 under 80 degrees for a MT score of 35k+
hi can u help me my boars b760 plus tuf but i cant find this settings on my bios
You meant -50 mv? Because -0.50 mv means 0.00050 Volt
@@_kiaz_ yes, i guess you're right.

@@alecs2244 Can you help me to fix my CPU? I mean I don't understand anything about it. Just tell me in caveman language what to do. Also I'm getting 25-26k score on the same CPU as yours.
none of these bios updates do anything for your K processors per Asus "The new BIOS includes Intel microcode 0x129 and adjusts the factory default settings for the non-K processors, enhancing the stability of Intel Core 13th and 14th gen desktop processors." that is legal speak for your on your own there is no default setting for K processors
So before watching this, I set my offset to -.100 and it legit bricked my pc to the point it wouldn’t even power my screen or devices. Is that pretty standard? I legit had to hit some button on my mobo that was “clear cmos” and it worked but it was sketchy
Soooo i updated the BIOS and now my " core offset voltage " cant be set at " - " ratio. What the hell? i7-14700kf here, before the update it worked fine.
Did you undervolt after the new micro code?
What bios are you running ? 0.129 ??
what happend with 13700k/KF undervolting video?????
I have I9 13900kf and asus rog strix z790-a, I update my bios (microcode 0x125 to ensure eTVB operates within Intel specifications), I usually use my pc in high load (temperature around 75-80c). If give me all bois settings to stop cpu degrading completely (l don't care about speed to much, just need long lifespend low temperature) it would help me a lot, thank for your time
can you do this 14700k in asus rog strix motherboard?
If I use aio water cooling what fan must I choice btw I use deepcool 360
Hi everyone, how to do this on an AORUS motherboard please?
I undervoltet tò 0.195 and its stable
Where is the 13700K, i cant find it anywhere!
Can someone explain what settings should I go for CPU lite load which in my case is on Auto (Mode 09). I've MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WiFi (DDR5).
What do you think if on top of this cpu light load mode is lowered as well?
Msi 760b 14700k cpu. Did as you said in the video, offset to 0.075 - cinebench and occt tests max to 100C, 4000 mhz in a few seconds, had to stop the test.
Tried to set cpu light load from 16 to 6. Result is 72C top and around 5200mhz, 1.24V in both tests. Will try to go a few steps around mode 6 to see more results
I tested on my Z790 the very stable is Mode 9(which is by default). Mode 16 will increase voltage. Below Mode 9 it will crash in cinebench and during XTU AVX2 test will fail. Stay on mode 9.
@@gameotic1Just trying to figure out whether cpu light load modes can be used on their own without setting cpu voltage mode to offset? Essentially does light load mode override any other voltage settings that you do under cpu voltage mode?
@@SirBebeOso according to my experience it doesn't override. It works side by side for example, Mine is set to "Mode 9" and if I undervolt more than 0.050V and it will not complete the Cinebench R23(1 run) and give me error but no BSOD then I restart the aforementioned app and test it again. However if it is set to "Mode 16" then you have more headroom for undervolting but monitor software will only show the values that you have manually set and will not show any undervolting value if only mode is selected.
@@gameotic1thanks mate, I'll try a few combinations then with offsetting in mind
please do undervolting for it again on gigabyte mb
Bro win my heart finaly some my i7 is laggy in render 😢😢😢
Can anyone explain it to me i got gigabyte z790 ud ax motherboard cant seem to find most of these settings
did you happen to update microcode 0x129?
I have a video about the mCode issue with Intel coming out this Wednesday:) 0x129 is USELESS and I actually do not recommend you guys update to it. But if you do have the crashing issues I’ll tell you how to fix them Wednesday.
@@ImWateringPSUs especially don't do it if you have an Asus motherboard the beta bios makes you lose 20% of the performance
@@dangir1783 Asus and 14900k - everthing fine. For me, the update is absolutely stable, the performance is the same.
Can undervolt a locked processor from bios?
Plan B: Sell the bad PC and all the Intel stock you have to some fool who has no PC tech or stock knowledge. Make sure to use a burner phone and a bad address.
why only on -0.05 ? go with -0.1 then go by 5 to -0.05 and every time stress test on multiple benchmarks.... also 253w wont matter on both pl1 and pl2... to be more precise the first thing you should do is LL AC/DC then ur -0.05 would have reason to be so low ... but anyway nice video and nice job :)
How can I tweak LL AC/DC load line?
@@gameotic1 what motherboard u have?
@@CodeNameTech MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WiFi. BIOS Revision 7D91vHB, micro code update to 0x123. All BIOS that came after with micro code 0x125/0x129 I've tested increase the core VID and Vcore resulting in high voltages(1.4v+) and increase temperatures. So I'm using the aforementioned BIOS which is very stable and it is set to CPU lite load to Auto (Mode 09). IA AC/DC load line to 0.4/1.1 mOhms(Shown in HWinfo 64) but when I change load line to Mode 12 and Mode 13 manually it changes the values to 0.7/1.1 & 0.8 mOhms respectively which also result more voltages and hence more heat. So in conclusion I'm on CPU load line Auto (Mode 09) plus core voltage offset to -0.040V and downclocked to 5.1Ghz p-cores/3.9Ghz e-cores. After this tweaking cinebench R23 stress test gave me 32400 pts which is only 2000 pts less than stock clock(5.5Ghz) and temperature decreased from 100°C to 85°C using DeepCool LE520 240mm AiO.
