I love this channel. This subject needs so much more attention. I've been an addict since I was 16. I'm 23 now, I've kicked 2 addictions so far. dilaudid, and iv meth, both separate. And now I've gotten stuck on fentynal and it is such a completely different beast in its own. And it should not be messed around with. This one's a lot harder to kick.

It’s a sticky demon isn’t it? Detoxing best way to describe it was the oil blob from Fern Gully was living inside my ribs slowly sucking my life out but just rolling all over me with detox symptoms.

I am a CSA survivor: my heart goes out to all survivors. I’m not advocating addiction but I DO UNDERSTAND what PTSD does
and THANK GOD HE SAID MJ is a gateway!

Please Addictions after Dark: can you promise me, a survivor of SA as a five YT old, 11 yr old and fighting em off all other years constantly: please when someone gathers the vulnerability and courage to disclose they’ve been violated as a child: please say “I’m sorry that happened to you”?? I know I’m just a rando survivor off the internet (new sub) so I’m asking a lot as a stranger but it would mean SO MUCH to hear that
 compassion
 pray I make sense.

And drug addiction is like a physical virus you never completely clean you're always just in that state of remission and as you watch these videos you can pick it up in the undertone of a lot of the people are saying that but the just using the word sobriety when that is not true because you never completely clean because both nicotine and caffeine considered mild hallucinogens and those are just the best two examples cuz there's a whole lot more things that are in a lot of the processed foods we eat that are worse for us

They're $50-$100 in Alaska. At least my area. They're $150+ each in other areas.

Wow, this interview with Travis was powerful. He said everything so cut & dry. With such honesty. This has been my favorite interview on your channel so far. There is no future for an addict, like he said. “There’s no such thing as old junkie, they all die young” that’s why I hope đŸ€ž this wonderful smart man can try to get clean again, & stay clean. I know the battle. Been in and out of addiction for over twenty years but sober for two years. I have overdosed twice. This man can do it. What he said is so true, “most addicts are holding onto so much pain, a lot more pain than most people can tolerate don’t be so quick to judge addicts are human too” I will be thinking of Travis ❀‍đŸ©č
