Muscle endurance training, run some 850 or even 900s at practice
running fast at longer distances is just endurance, you can probably run 15 miles an hour so you just need the endurance to keep that pace

Sprinters start out of blocks so they can have both hands on the ground. Not to mention Michael Johnson who advises people to use the bent arm form held the 200m American record until this year.
