And the guy who's on the TV who I believe is actually playing Shaw, voices Professor X in the animated series. Badass Easter eggs. The other guy on the TV with Shaw, is playing Hank McCoy

The fact that the character was named "Wolverine" suggests that his claws were always supposed to be bones. Logan actually has the combined abilities of a mammal called a "Wolverine" and "the wolverine frog". The frog actually has the ability to break, eject and use its bones as weapons. Nature is insane.
I think originally they where metal and the claws weren't even a part of his anatomy they where just attached to his gloves. It was later retconned that they where bone

my parents took me to the theaters for the first and X2 was my first DVD for my bday.
The x-ray of Angel's wings were on a wall of x-rays in the room Wolverine and Lady Deathstrike have their fight. Its kinda hard to miss considering its part of the establishing shot of when Wolverine first walks into the room and has his Weapon X flashbacks.

I thought they did an amazing job with this movie. While Last Stand didn’t end the trilogy on a high note, this movie took things to a whole new level and made me see where Magneto was coming from. My only issue with the movie is that they don’t do much with Wolverine’s search for clues to his past. He barely learns anything of importance, aside that he was once working for Striker.

They could use the STARK tech that mysterio used, along with the nano tech to heal the machines. The Danger Room A I could be one of Stark's A Is or Kree tech. They could also use Prof. or Jean Grey to have them train in their minds, similar to the matrix.
Days of Future Past AND Logan should be an episode. I always see Logan as the coda to the end of Days of Future Past even though it's never mentioned that the two should be seen as a double bill. You get more out of the movies when you view them back to back.

At one point in the comics, Nightcrawler dies when a villain anticipates his movement and thrusts his fist to the area he has calculated Nightcrawler to teleport to, teleporting into his arm and becoming impaled through the chest.

Regarding Nightcrawler's teleportation, and how it works, it could be that they don't mention it in this movie, and maybe Kodi Smit-McPhee's version of the character in _Apocalypse_ mentions it?
But iirc, in the comics, he explains that he has to either be able to see where he's going, or be familiar enough with it that he can visualize it (i.e. teleporting around a corner to a place he'd just been). He says that he can teleport to unknown places, like through a closed door, occasionally, but in a previous attempt he got stuck inside a wall and it terrified him so he doesn't do it unless he has no other option.
Something like that, I could have details mixed up.

The metal wasn't iron, that was just a joke by magneto, if a real metal would have been mercury or gallium, and magneto powers make it stiff enough for what he does later.
And yes it'd be toxic, but not fatal in a single night.

At one point Disney+ had all of the X-Men movies, including the prequels and DOFP, on their service. They trimmed it down for some reason.
Only thing I can think of is maybe Disney not wanting to pay royalties with the actors.
Days of Future Past should be it's own episode, but the remaining x men movies should be a worst of compilation. There's a lot of material there in trying to decide which is the worst x men movie between last stand, dark Phoenix, Apocalypse and Wolverine: Origins.

24:26 the production team behind the movie knew nothing about the show, they wanted no visors or mouth plates to show the actors were in the suits, but in actuality the only time the actors were in the suits was when they took their helmets off. They used both stuntmen and stuntwoman to play the power rangers in the fight scenes, they had men in the girl costumes with fake boobs and for the guys they padded the chests. Also I can’t figure this out but there’s nothing there on the pants so I guess they used some kind of dance belt for the stuntmen to wear.🤷

You think it would be super hard and time consuming to paint over Nightcrawler with some black? If you can do it in MS Paint, then that just shows pure laziness on the filmmaker’s part.
How strange that I decide to revisit this movie today. It didn"t give me what I wanted as an X-Men fan, but it's still a more solid story than anything from the DCEU. Its handling of an ensemble cast was also better.
1:25:30. Thank you for acknowledging this. This is why movie Wolverine is so boring for me. Some of The most memorable fights he had was against people with very similar powers. Everyone loves Logan, but I was kind of over it when I saw a literal clone of Wolverine (instead of more, less literal clones).
Another thing that bothers me about another Wolverine clone, X-23, is that she has adamantium bonded to her skeleton as a kid. Does that stunt her growth? If her bones are still growing wouldn’t her claws grow proportionally? Would her claws have a vulnerable section when extended?
Admittedly this is very nitpicky, but it just doesn’t set right with me.
Typing this as it was mentioned about the bone claws to knives point that I’ve never thought of. Interesting!

I miss when there was a more consistent panel of guests, haven't watched in months because the new guests you constantly rotate don't have any chemistry. Was looking forward to actually watching this one, but this guys got the personality of a door knob. Judging by the view count since I last watched your vids, I don't think I'm the only one that feels this way. Is it like a patreon thing voting for this? Are the interesting videos locked behind that? Or is it since you left the depths of hell and went out on your own you're too far from the interesting people? Idk man, whatever it is I miss the old show.
Everyone's got different schedules and I like to have different people and get different perspectives. Also the only reason there was a consistent panel in the first place was because the show started during covid lockdowns. I've always wanted to rotate guests.

The reason why it was studio interference was because not only was Dark Phoenix supposed to be two parts (part one was supposed to have hellfire club) Disney forced them to change the ending because they claimed it was basically the same as Captain Marvel.

When you were talking wigs; I know it’s a minor quibble but “fant4stick” is the same thing as saying Fantastic Four 2015. the miscommunication is humorous bc the wig distinction is definitely glaring and practically distracting. Anyone who has seen all the f4 films “knows” which one you meant even though Alba’s interpretation suffers from the same issue. I believe it’s only in “f4 2:RotSS” though and no where near as poor quality. Definitely not AS bad but still pretty terrible.
