Great series alhamdullilah. This answered a lot of questions lingering in my heart. Suggestion: I would consider removing the soundtrack when Dr. Elmasry is speaking however, or at least during most of it. It's a bit distracting and hard to hear what he says.
I'm glad i have see Dr Shadee Alhamdulillah i subscribe Safina Society

On the last point with regard to rhyming or florescent language in du'aa, is this from the madhab the shaykh follows of imam the malik or a general point otherwise? How is this reconciled with what is seen of the Haba'ib in Tarim, particularly in their congregational witr prayers where most of it is in rhyme or meter
Assalamu Alaikum I have a question, In Urdu Language there is a Dua in form of Poetry By Allama Iqbal named "Lab pe ati hei dua bn kr tamanna meri" And Almost in every school in Pakistan,They recite it in Assembly prayer ....
So will it be ok ??
What about prayers AGAINST oppressors and/or tyrants, evil doers hell bent on yours or your Muslim brothers’ & sisters’ destruction?
Also open enemies of Islam?
Their oppression is their destruction. Dua against them will only increase them in their oppression.
Ask Allah to destroy their plans and to guide them
