Marlow's SECRET Crystalling Method Explained

- Hi guys! In this video I'll be going over a SECRET Crystalling Method (Marlow's Method) that allows you to crystal at extreme speeds in Minecraft Crystal PvP. It also helps with improving your anchor speeds and blocking up speeds, along with 0 pearl delay. This is an extremely useful method for improving at Crystal PvP and becoming one of the best. Hi, I'd like to talk about common questions with this method
- Make sure you set your place bind to something on your second keyboard. You NEED to use both for this to work. You only need to use one key on your second keyboard for this to work, and the key that will be used is the one binded to your place key. You do not need to use any other keys.
- A lot of you are likely wondering where you'd place the second keyboard. It really does not matter as long as it is most optimal and comfortable with you. Personally, I put my two-key keyboard on the ground, and use my foot to hold on the place key (I'm being serious).
- This method is allowed on tierlist as verified by tierlist admins. This method is allowed on almost every crystal pvp server as well, but if you really want to be safe I would suggest asking staff before using the method.
- You don't NEED a two-key/one-key keyboard for this, although I do highly suggest it in order to save space. You can use a full-sized keyboard as your second keyboard and it will still work. Basically any other keyboard will work as a second, but smaller keyboards are typically better for most since it is much more optimal.

I used a second keyboard forever for my anchors and recently toteming. I used a tool called a sayo device where I can manually edit the delay or how much I need to push down to trigger the key. Overall it got me similar anchor results as you’re getting. I would 100% recommend a second keyboard to anyone cpvping
Side note it never actually crossed my mind to bind anything as a use button. Might try it out soon.

@@camcal1916my personal opinion though is a more customizable keyboard like a sayo device is better then your two key one. It costs a bit more but you can customize a lot like when the key actually registered. It also has a much lower delay than any other keyboard I can find.

Does the end crystal place on the obsidian as you look at it? If so, all you have to do is press left click?
Yeah. Basically everything automstivally places for you as you hold down the key. You don’t have to hit right click at all
There’s no point to this tbh but fast crystals I mean I can d tapped like a lt2 and I’ve beaten default twice on mc tiers lol so this helps but I dunno seems bannable on some servers

I use a glouries mouse I have the software for it so I made my right click button to a keyboard button and then I could use it easily I’ve been using it for 4 months ?
and a handcam would be nice for the demonstration
Does anyone have the fix that when you use this method, sometimes the blocks ghost, it happens a lot when you're anchoring, the anchor places for the first ms and then dissapears, or it charges and uncharges back, its really the only flaw i can find and I need a fix asap

i got a problem it works, but my anchors are to fast and I don't know how to slow them down any tips?
You should mess with the filter keys settings to alter how fast you can place anchors/blocks. If your anchors are too fast, I would suggest making the repeat rate number higher to slow down how fast your repeat rate is. Just try testing a bunch of different settings though and see what works for you

@@ZMGDUO yeah. You can go to your registry editor (which is a default Windows application) and then HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response and update your values. Keep in mind that you’ll have to restart your pc everytime you make a change

You just hold down one key on ur second keyboard and bind that key as your place key. I use my foot to press it (it’s below my setup) but I think there’s other ways to press it, just find what works
How long did it take you to master from when you started using it?
@@PitviperCPVP not long, probably an hour or two but I didn’t completely “master” it by then. It seems like it’s difficult but all I do is just hold my foot on the key and then it will just auto place for me, basically just removing you needing to right click and also spams everything at insane speeds

Hmmmm. If you check the pops you can see that you cant really combine the ticks so every time you crystal you could posibly waste them. What benifits does this teqnique offer besides faster crystal speed and anchors?
Exactly, the dtaps aren't as effective and they are slow
@@stream3261 No, mainly due to damage ticks you can only combine them to make d-taps. Meaning in the non-nerdy way that you wont pop your opponents totems more.
I was spam crystalling to show how fast you can crystal with it. You can time the dtaps. This technique has other benefits like 0 pearl delay and faster blocking up, and you also don’t have to worry about hitting right click anymore since you’ll constantly be holding down the key (in most scenarios)
@@camcal1916 Thanks for the reply! I definetly like this teqnique but in every day use its a little difficult, however as a secret tactic I think I would use it (cough axe stun headbob crystal) :) Thx for replying too, most ytubers dont.

@@Gray_mk because the mouse requires you to use an external mouse software to rebind your mouse right click to a keyboard key. This is considered a macro in tierlist which is why it isn't allowed. This method presented in the video is allowed because you are actually using your keyboard for your place key instead of using a macro for it.

It's TECHNICALLY possible but you'd need to click a basically inhumane cps on your right click while left clicking at the same time (if you are crystalling)

external hardware and software in order to automate an attack? yeah this is legit 😂🤣
the only external hardware you would need is a second keyboard. the software presented in the video is FilterKeys - it is a simpler Registry Editor that allows you to change your key repeat function settings without the need to restart your PC. You don't need to use FilterKeys and can actually use the Registry Editor, but it's just annoying having to restart your pc everytime you make a change

I don't think FilterKeys works on Mac, so you'd probably have to find an alternative to it that alters your key repeat function on your keyboard.

defaults write -g KeyRepeat -int 1
in terminal to set keyrepeat to 30ms
damn i have been seeing drdonut block up so fast that i thought he was using fast place hack bcuz he was just holding right click and not spamming it. this also explains sakurafx's insane anchor speed in his montages. so in conclusion this was in secret for a year and no one was talking sht about it?

Usual side mouse buttons don't work with this. However, some mice have number pads which actually type numbers. These type of mice work with the method, and I think they are allowed but im not 100% sure

As i thought someone discovered this shit aswell with second keyboarding, but i use 3rd keyboarding calling it plus ultra place, its pretty effect I MEAN "EFFECTIVE" i killed like ht4s with it, i can't really reveal how to do that but yall need to figure it out yourself by "modding and 3rd keyboarding"..

@@juliwilliamus Pretty sure it works with every single keyboard unless yours is like some crazy weird keyboard. You can't use right click in mc anymore if you use this method. You place stuff using the second keyboard key instead, which may take some time getting used to. personally it only took like 1 hour

No, the keyboard does that for you. You don’t even have to right click at all as long as you are holding the key down

You use two keyboards and a mouse. One keyboard is used as your main keyboard, and the other is for placing blocks/crystals. You only need to hold down the second keyboard and it doesn’t require significant multitasking or anything
