Every time I adjust myself in the seat of my pickup truck I find myself saying, 'signature move...feeling better'. 😁
Nice.
Yeah me too cause I drive with no license and was speeding and dodged a cop 🤣 just playing a little bit
😂
I am a former Navy Chief Petty Officer and I grew up in and now live in Grand Junction. I still stop what I’m doing and look up and watch the planes as they transition through the valley and I still never get tired of it! GoNavy!
You go to Lincoln orchard Mesa elementary by chance? I grew up in GJ, moved when I was like 11 to Fort Collins.
My uncle was master chief petty officer for the coast guard. I'm not familiar with ranks and what not but from what I understand that's a pretty high rank ?
Sorry, Chief, but as former ARMY aviation, I can't resist: GO ARMY, BEAT navy!! Blessings & stay well👍🏻
😅 @Caninedriver ! USAF Daughter, former Navy wife and a PROUD US ARMY MOM! Hooooah! I lean more towards Army, since my son is now a Sgt and has worked hard for his promotion. My ex, only made E4 in the Navy and I'm the one who did his workbook for his promotion. Plus he's an EX for a reason!
Hey Chief PO, I'd like to buy you a cigar or a nice bottle of bourbon sometime when I go for my monthly (or bimonthly) trip to Junction.
Same goes for you Pail! I'd love to buy you a beer at one of the many breweries in JCT or better yet, if you ever make it to Moab, I'll buy you a beer at Moab Brewery!
Who would have imagined that doing something so regular for yourself but so incredible for others.
This is incredible.
Thanks, Courtney!
Indeed! this is my childhood dream.
I'm from UK - you know America's biggest aircraft carrier! 🤣I'm glad you're on our side!👍✈
I almost hesitate to use the word "comforting", but the meter and cadence of your narration, coupled with the incredible flight footage, is just that. Thank you, for the descriptions and explanations.
Cheers!
Soothing. I imagine air to air fight going on and hearing “turn left, a little more, see him off the nose. Vanquished, Fly Navy!” All in the soothing narration.
Another home run! I enjoyed the airline humor. True story, I recently was working on one of my jets, and got to talking with a new hire first officer. He was a former F-18 driver, just left the Navy. He still had the navy spirit, referred to me as a "Maintainer." And, the icing on the cake was, he called me "Sir!"
First time an officer called me sir, lol. Didn't get a salute however but still a good chuckle.
Fly Navy!
Ha!
Just hate to hear you’re leaving the NAVY. You are a valuable asset, always respected and appreciated!
You got the voice for it. Those signature moves are all fly navy.
😎
Such a cool cat, Pail.😎 Humor ✔️ Signature move ✔️ Voice over ✔️
Slight jet sound in the background ✔️ Love it. Fly Navy 💫 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
🙏🏻🇺🇲🙏🏻
“Piano keys”. I learn so much from your videos even if I can’t apply more than ‘signature move’ in my daily life. Keep it coming.
I pray that you will have a great career with one of the major airlines and that I will be honored to have you as my pilot one day.Thank you for your service to our country. We will miss your videos as they are the highlight of my day.
Thank you Sir for what you do. Bless our Vets 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I live in GJ and can always tell when Hornets fly in or out; the Hornet has a very distinctive sound. It’s always good to see and hear miljets visit! 🤙🏼
"DOC" flew right over my house yesterday. A fully restored B-29 on downwind ...l know that ww2 sound ..nothing else sounds like that
@@mallinois4978 Oooh! You’re right, NOTHING sounds as beautiful as a big recip - and 4 are even better. I was born with the sound of six big recips on B-36s shaking the ground. I’ve loved those things ever since. 😊🤙🏼
I live near Lincoln Park myself, and I can always tell when the military is making yet another visit to town.
@@helicitywx 😊🤙🏼
Growler...I am absolutely honored to say you represent the best of the USA..!!!
I wish you all the best the world has to offer. You make your parents and the rest of us sooooo proud. Love your videos..!!!
Growler is the voice of Mister Rogers for Naval aviation..I feel like every time I watch I’m waiting for him to sing it’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood..
🤣😂👍
Mr Rodger’s ??????
Get real.
Mister Rodgers was an Army Sniper wasnt he?. "Hey friend, just one more step out from behind that truck, there you go..."
He has a WAY SEXIER voice than Mr. Roger's or Bob Ross y'all! I be all up by the cockpit wanting to see THIS sexy pilot! 😂😅
Oh yeah, you're ready. Speaking as a long ago retired check airman whose duties included transitioning newly hired pilots into learning the aircraft that we flew, some of the toughest instruction was trying to introduce the concept of flaring before touchdown to ex-carrier pilots. LOL.
Love your voiceovers, really informative. You are a credit to your country and profession. God bless you.
Okay, when you said you were bringing humor I didn't expect this level. This was amazing 😂 🧡
Thanks, Mari.
And frankly we’re the best. No truer words spoken.
Ok..one more.
Our flight demo team is going to perform at the Grand Junction airshow. (Featuring the Thunderbirds). Its Friday practice day and the Canadian Super Hornet demo team as well as the USN Super Hornet are scheduled to perform on Saturday. After practice ( the USN team had not arrived yet) the commander of the Canadian team was the featured speaker at the performers cook out dinner on the ramp. When it was his turn to speak, he got about 5 words out when the USN 2 ship came roaring into the overhead, pitched out and made about 4 or 5 low approaches. The speaker just gave up and said.."Ladies and Gentlemen, your United States Navy"
The timing was too perfect to be a coincidence..
The Canadians fly the CF-18 which is a version of the Legacy Hornet.
I’m English and was in Grand Junction last year and thought it odd they have an A6 and F11 gate guardians at a place about as far from the ocean as you can get. Thanks for this, brought back memories.
Whether as the skipper of your own carrier, or an airline pilot, your future is enviably bright for sure! You were not joking about the sense of humor. Loved it as always!
Gotta admit I have bugger all interest in Grand Junction, BUT listening to those dulcet tones of PAIL made the place seem awesome. LOVED IT!!!
You forgot to mention that Grand Junction has some awesome dirt biking right under your approach around the airport. Plus, proximity to Moab is awesome.
Moab ROCKS! Mentally and physically!! ❤ 😊 Gotta love the positive vibes from the iron in the red rock! ❤
I'm Navy born at Whidbey, myself. Dad was a 20 year man. Naval aviation IS the best!
You have such a calm voice and positive tone in all of your videos! I would imagine you'd be a terrific flight instructor! Thanks for taking us along on your flights! Best wishes for continued success and thank you for your service!
Cheers!
Always great when you're in the cockpit.
Great Navy landing! Thanks for your service sir 🤙
Hilarious, I’m always waiting for the signature move now.
As always, excellent job! I love watching these full screen. Always wanted to be a pilot as a kid.
Beautiful day and video as always
Thanks for all you do
Great humor! Its really good to hear your explaination of your moves to get into final approach and land. Two entirely different situations from that long runway to a carrier landing! Thank you for taking us along and fly Navy (airlines)!
I appreciate your professionalism and your ability, both physical and mental. I envy you and your ability to fly those jets!
Due to my very intense work schedule, for the first time in a long time, I get to sleep until late morning on a Saturday morning, and a new jam video is the first thing I woke up to. What a wonderful way to start the weekend!
Thanks for the humor! I appreciate it more when former military aviators fly the craft that I ride.
Greetings from Crimea UA! Thanks a lot for your help and support! USA❤
Awesome, I live in junction. U guys fly right over my house almost daily, love it. Thank u for the information on our town.
Thanks Pail.
Got my vote for the best channel on the Tube.
I really enjoy your thoroughly professional aircraft handling skills & your commentary 🫡
I was anticipating your new video this morning, I am amazed that you give a history lesson on most of your videos and that is very much enjoyed and I never new anything about Grand Junction, I think that what makes your videos stand out above the rest, plus the way you explain what your doing and what is going on in your aircraft and around you! Thanks again for your service and always Fly Navy!!!!
Thanks, David.
Love seeing my hometown on this! 🤘🏻
My daughter is obsessed with becoming a a fixed wing naval aviator. Maybe talk about your career path someday? I'm a medically retired Marine ground pounder and my father was an F-15C pilot but neither of us have useful Navy advice for her
You are doing very good work, it is a pleasure to watch you.
LOVE IT!! I got to take a flight of UH-60s into Cheyenne Wyoming for refuel when I was a Captain and loved flying into my home.
Have a great weekend pail. Thanks for the videos. In a future video it would be cool to give your EWO some love or something from their perspective
Good stuff. Grand Junction is a cool spot, stopped there for a few hours on a road trip and wish I could have stayed longer. And as always, immaculate Bob Ross vibes.
Loved this one Pail. Beautiful scenery all around and a silky smooth landing. Greetings from the UK. Fly Navy👍
Cheers!
Just love it..thank you.
Nicely done. The airline humor was spot on - sounds like you have been practicing in anticipation of a future career change! Keep up the good work and thanks for your insight and history lessons.
I live in Grand Junction! Love to see it from the eyes of the Navy!
New favourite channel. Please keep the videos coming!
Great jam today, Pail. Love getting to Fly Navy when these show up.
Excellent video, thank you.
Another awesome jam..and that signature move you know we love it! Oh Yeah..
Thank you for your service Sir. Awesome views! 👏🏽 😎 👍🏾🇺🇲
See 18s frequently here in CO - BKF and GJT. Its great seeing the same areas from the cockpit - thanks!
I loved the humour👍 Nice to see you don't have to take yourself too seriously but still doing a great job
Growler Jams! Tomara que continue fazendo mais vídeos! Um grande abraço! Flávio.
I've flown into GJT and to runway 11 many times over the last 25 years as an airline pilot. I've always loved military aviation and have seen F18s many times at GJT. So this was a great video to see! Thank you for your service and for sharing this.
Was there for the first time last month, watching Blue Angels perform. Brings back great memories!
Always loved flying into grand junction. Miss it 6:27
so awesome and what a quick trip!
Thanks for the voiceover and ride Really Appreciated look forward to all your videos
Thanks!
Thank you!!!
Another bad ass Growler Jam!! Love these voice over vids! No one else is doing them which is awesome!! Keeps the channel super exclusive.
Fly with you any day!
Happy Veteran’s Day Pail. Happy Veteran’s Day to all the Vets. Thank you.
Much appreciated
Great video Man. I was in the Marine Corps in the 90s. I was a combat engineer. I did some time on an expeditionary airfield in North Carolina. I had the honor to stand at the arresting pit to watch F-18s and EA6Bs trap. Great respect to all Marine and Navy pilots. Also I worked it the Navy in an F-14 crash investigation out of Oceana. Much respect and love you Navy Pilots great guys. Thank you
Cheers!
Great landing, you got a great job. Thanks
Always enjoy a firm contact with the ground landing.
Great video.
You will get a job with the airlines so easily after the Navy.
I hope so!
So cool!! ✌️ My daughter will do a highschool year as an exchange student in the Denver area starting in August 🇺🇸🤝🇩🇪 Thx for this preview of Western Colorado - great channel 👍👍
Great video Pail and a very concise description of GJ. I live and fly some 30 miles to the SE of GJ and, at our airport occasionally have to make a low pass to chase the antelope off of the runway. The scenery around here is awesome and never gets old. Would consider buying one of those Navy things if it had a tailwheel and burned a whole lot less. Thanks again for the video.
I sure miss my 21 yrs of FBO work and getting to be up close and personal with these jets and others. Sweet vid man!
Wish we had signature move handles for long drives on bumpy roads. I appreciate the need for an occasional butt adjustment myself. Dig your videos and appreciate all you and your fellow servicemen and women do for us. Stay frosty!
Thank you
That was a good one. Enjoyed it! Keep’em coming.
Wow the scenery really made this video for me.
Great stuff, keep it coming 🫡
Thanks!!!
Love it. From a former structural mechanic and A-6/EA-6 specialist and plane captain... 6/75 - 6/79.
Fly Navy!
Thank you for your service.
One of my favorite channels... keep it up
Grand Junction native! Love watching the F18’s train there!
Favorite channel.
Always informative and entertaining! Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love it!
Back in the '70s, here in the UK, we used to have car stickers coloured dark blue, brown and light blue with the phrases "Fly Navy", "Sail Army" and "Walk Sideways" on the relevant coloured patch!
The RAF is referred to as Crab Air by the other British services.
Much appreciated.
“Signature Move” cracks Me up every time and I just know You have a grin on Your face every time You do it. Keep up the great work You do for all Brother!
Cheers!
MOST EXCELLENT I've beed a big fan, with your voiceovers, I am now a Huge Fan. I enjoyed you running commentary with the local history lessen along with practice Cabin Announcements. Thank you for flying Navy - Great touch
Cheers. Thanks!
Nice commentary and thanks for the history lesson ! FlyNavy!
Smooth. Very smooth!!!
As a former EMS BH-412 Pilot at KGJT/ST MARY'S, that area has a lot to offer. Palisade Peaches in season are mouth watering, juicy, delicious. Further west, Green River melons are some of the best in the country. The FBO used to transfer over 100,000 gallons of military contract fuel each month to the cross-country fliers. Montrose (KMTJ), a little further away is also a good op stop. Really enjoy the videos, but will understand your jump to bus driver if the offer is made. Good luck!
Exceptionally done. This was enjoyable to view and listen to.
Thanks!
Excellent video. Cheers.
Little signature move ha, absolutely love it 😆
Great narration as always!
Thanks for a very informative and fun video !!👍
Marine pilot here (of 50 years ago) who never flew jets. Been flying FSX for years now. A few years back taught myself to fly the VRS F/A-18E 'Superbug'. Learned to carqual using NATOPS. Have learned how to use all the various weapons systems. I study all your videos for details I may have missed (not many). Nothing like doing it for real, though. Hope you're not getting too much grief from the brass for making yourself a movie star. Payback: this is a great recruiting tool. I would've LOVED to have videos like this to watch when I was a kid. Keep 'em coming.
I currently live in Denver, and I haven't had the pleasure of going up and over the mountain toward Grand Junction, but I hear it's beautiful out there.
Sure is.
Excellent flight! Complementary up grade to first class, a window seat, peanuts and a soft drink. 👍🥜🥜🥜🥤Fly Navy✈
