what tuning would you set to play this on a bass with four stringz. would be appreciated x thanks for helping me learn egg n squeeze me ... i play with a pick. can't slap for fuck all
oh hmmm, not sure if detuning a 4-string would work smoothly, but maybe you can get away with dropping the E to a D. I believe the lowest not is that low D
i see, i have tried detuning the top but it gets messy quick. i realise now you don't actually play the fifth that much, and when you do, i instead play the higher octave or a note that sounds similar. it's very fun to play, i wish the (you're gonne die) section was repeated. still struggling with the 2-1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4 quick section.
could you answer em though, how do you learn these complex songs, is it by ear, or do you read the sheet music?
