- This is part 2 of a really great interview of Eddie Murphy done by Byron Allen. Eddie goes into details about how he started in stand up comedy and his biggest inspirations.
The material in this interview is pure gold if you're looking for some honest insight and advice on stand up comedy. This interview was originally part of the Eddie Murphy Delirious DVD extras. - Komedie
I agree. He's gone through some stuff in his life and I am anxious to hear what he has to say about the world now that so much has changed socially and politically. I really hope he does come back to standup.
Eddie is da man!!!.
Gosh, people keep talkin bout Richard Pryor too much. People forget Redd Foxx is the real innovator. His style was the precedent for Richard to do his thing. Redd Foxx is sooooo underrated. To me, he's the Greatest Ever
hes so cool , i love eddie murphy , i think i nearly looked all his movies , gr8 guy !
Legend Period. I feel like im sitting down at the bar havin a drink wit him. He is Micheal Jordan, doesnt matter how many Kobe's come after their will never be another
LMAO, I love he he mentions the gay guy noticed his mismatched red outfit XD So true, I remember a girlfriend of mine had a gay best friend and whenever he'd hang out with us, I felt so damn judged on my style lol.
I think eddie murphy knows ALOT of stuff, the interviewers dont ask him REAL questions. He is one of the last sane people left that can explain whats really happening in our world
Also, can anyone let me know if these vids are out of sync with the audio?? I can't tell if they are or if it's just my old PC.
Dude people still don't have the balls to do something like delirious on a big commercial stage. There might be people doing it in stuff that doesn't get the spotlight that much. But ain't many people that are as big as Eddie was and would have enough courage to do what he did today.
Eddie is being modest. Delirious is much better than Richard Pryor's shows.
Uncomfortable mention of his father at 3:15.... Wonder what the backstory is there...
This is the most awkward interview ever!
is eddie laugh he he he only act
I hate the interviewers laugh lol
watch his hands at 02:17 to 02:29, Eddie sold his soul
