I've always been the type to put 110% time and effort for people. My dad has that same trait, but we do it in a way that drains us real bad to the point we lose our dreams, passions and love for our own selves. I want my child to have the trait, but not to the point they forget to put that time and energy for themselves as well
this can be taught luckily, gotta establish boundaries and being able to refuse/say no when it will interfere with our own well being

I'm short so I married a girl that is much taller than men so I can breed out the shortness. My kid is already taller than me at 10 years old and I'm firkin stoked. Also I know a certain JK couple that would make cute tall kids.

My mother 5'2 and my dad was 5ft... I thought I was going to be short until I hit a growth spurt my Jr year in HS and I went from 5'6 to 6'2... in contrast my cousin has a tall dad and is 5'2, sometimes life isn't fair 😅
