I think it looks way better. Not only that, but it feels more immersive than I ever felt playing ASE for years, like I’m in the jungle fearing for my life as a pack of raptors is hunting me
I agree it definitely feels more immersive
Some times it looks like hot garbage in my Xbox S. I can live with that but they did something to the Dino tracking, it is very easy to kill a raptor with no armour and just a stone pick axe, and unfortunately that pulls me out of the immersion
@@paulcrowe3383 Whole reason to buy console because you can't afford a pc, if you buy the weaker xbox with a gpu under minimum spec, expect it to be worse
@@Steven-yf2ef I said I live with the fact that it looks bad at times. My issue is with the how they changed the Dino’s where now they don’t hit you at all you can just crouch and hit them with and axe to kill them it was way harder before
I don't know why, but to me from those point of view ASE lucks better then ASA. They just added fog and made the game look plain with higher quality textures.
The ASE looks more clear but ASA has better textures and more realistic depth of field which for some people looks like “blurry mess” but I don’t agree and I think it looks much better but that’s just my opinion

Definitely a noticeable improvement but to be fair, ASE still looks pretty good for a game that's as old as it is. Can't wait to see how the PS5 handles the new version. How is the gameplay and stability on the xbox with ASA, particularly with the effects left on?

I can't go back to ASE looks bad on ultra compared to low ASA sure worse fps but still looks better. Played ASA for 3 hours then jumped to ASE I uninstalled straight away
The og wass so great but omgosh the difference is amazing and so realistic and fixed so much

That’s true, it does look better on pc but on Xbox it looks a bit odd. Maybe they’ll fix it. They patching it pretty much everyday so hopefully it’s on their list
For me there is alot more atmosphere in ascended you can really appreciate it when on foot

Tge difference a week makes! I got it yesterday for series x on an lg c2 and it blows these out of the water and there is non of the problems other channels point out

While Ascended does look better it seems more blurry for some reason when playing or flying. Kinda prefer evolved because of it
I'll just wait until it gets out of beta like all games these days . I prefer getting the whole game when I buy it.
Redwood lake and lava cave look worse imo. Also why is there more blur in acended. I hate it. I like some of the other stuff though.
You can switch it off by disabling fog and clouds if you don’t like it. Hope that helps

They need a graphical update. How are they going to make the game look worse than the previous gen? If you look at the PC version it's a night and day difference. It just seems like they didn't even try with the console version. Especially since the console is more than powerful enough to handle this game at 120fps. No more excuses at this point.
I’m sure they will be updates considering that pretty much every day they are patching something but to be honest I think like it already looks much better than the old one but that’s just my opinion
you not going to get much better graphics on a $500 outdated console. if you want better get a pc it's that simple ASA looks leagues better compared to ase.
@@Dread_G8trDo you think so? ASA only looks a tad better than ASE on my PC... I did have graphics mods installed on ASE mind you. But ASA in terms of graphics and performance is actually very slightly better on PS5 than what I get on PC and Series X!
Meanwhile ASE Ultimate Survivor looks way better on Series X than PS5 due to it being optimised for Xbox and I still play ASE on PC and Xbox as there's just way more content and the gameplay and graphics difference to ASA is relatively small when compared to other 'remakes' or 'remasters' on both platforms
@@thevoicewithin9845 if you think ASA only looks a tad bit better your PC ain't that good or either you playing at a low res. I have a 4070 and an i9 and it blows ASE out the water maxed out. ASA runs the same on both those trash consoles neither hits 60 consistently an L is a L a few fps doesn't matter. ASE still runs like trash to this day compared to how good gpus are now. I played it maxed out on 1440p genesis 2 right before ASA released and I could barely get 60 fps on official pvp on a popular server. I honestly don't know why people claim ASE rubs so well because it really doesn't it's copium at the highest form.

My PC is a beast and ASE is very good looking game on it! The textures are better in ASA but the overall game has very small differences overall compared to ASE. ASE also has way more content.
As for consoles, they are the closest they have ever been to matching high end PCs and mostly do on majority of games these days!
You seem right be one of these 'PC Master Race' people... I am not. I am a realist. PC is great and all but PS5 > Series X are still great and mostly on par!

DO NOT buy this game. I am on Xbox s, and it is impossible to see your health, stamina, etc. Reducing the UI ONLY reduce the size of your toolbar. Since french is my first langage, the game is in french, but let me tell you this is not french. It is a mix of bad english and non sense but no french. Worst game EVER. Graphics runs good.

ASA is trash. ASE looks way better and has better looking lightning. Asa is bloom and fog and that's it. DINO ai is hot trash in asa and the game runs terrible

@@TheOneAboveAll_THS There is some truth to what you are saying, these console options are pointless. I have this but I rarely play ARK E, I might try that because I know it was made with a better quality.
