So many people complaining. This is not supposed to be a cover of the Mariah and Whitney version. This song is about being a Hebrew and singing to praise G_d who has helped Moshe (Moses) lead them as a free people out of Mitzrayim (Egypt) and it's important that anyone singing it work to ensure the Hebrew is right. The singing itself is great, with wonderful timbre and voices, but the Hebrew needed work. The 'ch' is softer and not as guttural as they sang it. The Hebrew lyrics are meant to be: "Nahitah vehasdekha amzu gaalta" meaning "In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed" but they sang it as "nagita bar gastecha" which makes absolutely no sense. It is disappointing that they didn't work to get the Hebrew right before singing this.
The actual singing is referred to in the Book of Exodus 15:1-3 which says, 'Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord: “I will sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea. The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name.'

    Ok couple things
    1) This stuff gave me goosebumps.
    2) The girl that sang the part in Hebrew, hella cute when she was getting into it, and moving to the rhythm.
    3) Christina Allado (singer in gold) is absolutely gorgeous.
Bonus fact: to my surprise, Christina Allado is actually filipino.
Another bonus fact: im filipino too thats why i tripped out 🙃

      Alice-In-Wonderland,
Hello. I am curious, what did you think of the performance? But, I am especially curious as to your opinion of the lady who sang the part of Yocheved: was she comparable to Ofra Haza?

Really sad this show is in London only 😢 Can they also make it to Broadway in NY or go on a world tour pretty please. I grew up watching The Prince of Egypt and loving all the songs so I’d love to see this come to life in person. 💗 My heart is going to burst just watching this. If this is so good already, imagine the whole show! ☠️💓✨👌🏻 At least release an original cast audio soundtrack now. I need it asap.
