They actually look more strained getting off the bench than benching 140kg
Thats cuz it is lol. 140 is really really light for them.
They both weigh over 160kg thats why lol
@Alles Kepler I literally went down to the comments just to make that same joke... until I saw yours
Must make you feel good about yourself that you can't bench 45 kilo, but You can get up from the Bench without hesitation, huh?
rafael cisneros must feel really good about yourself attacking people on the internet projecting your insecurities onto someone else, so instead of being an asshole on the internet why don't you work on lifting that 45kg buddy. Your arms are looking small champ.
Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw have gotta be two of the most likeable characters around anywhere.
Their probly fake though I mean they are putting an act on for the people.
@@UnknownUser-gn1xsyou're dumb af
Josh Nunya They’ve been friends for a long time, watch their Q&A’s. You’re obviously not a real fan of them lmao
Eddie makes it entertaining though. Without him Shaw can get a little boring.
Andrew Cullen
I agree, but the relationship isn’t fake that’s what I’m sayin
Nick is an incredible strongman, the fact that he can perform what 99,99% of people will never achieve in ten lifes at his age is unbelieveble.
Incredible work ethic+incredible genetics=Champion
Champion at 50 years old=legend!
Good to see he is getting more exposure in the media
hes bulking up I'm assuming hes going back
LEO A,C. Strength diminishes little until the 70s and 80s but sometimes not even then
Well said!
The fact he can explode 530lbs off his chest still is insanely impressive
Tony sir with all do respect, yea fucking right lol
Nick Best, 50 and still looking awesome. Nice
Good for him. I'm 50 and still training hard. Although more athletic nowadays. My best bench was 3 plates
Razz0r ric thats good bro keep it up
Razz0r ric i think you are not 50
@@ArvianMilzaanugerah born may 1969 why wouldn't I be 50 ?!
Razz0r ric sorry bro,its just a joke
Brian takes Eddie's humour like a champ
Because Brian is mature unlike his manchild friend Eddie
Colin Shaules try saying that entire sentence to eddies face i dare ye but you'll prolly collapse midsentence from all the shit in your trousers
In soviet russia Eddie takes Brians humor like champ
@@colinshaules7141 try telling Eddie that I would like to see you afterwards
Brian does everything like a champ
Hands down to Nick for pressing that heavy. For his age, he is still super strong.
I mean in general he's really strong, when you take his age into account it makes him more impressive
Are we all going to ignore how Eddie gets off the bench😂
Mathieu Plamondon
Bro, the way Eddie gets off the bench is a majestic feat. It’s like some type of seal rolling off a rock.
It’s like watching a penguin slide down an icy slope. 😂
That’s how I get off the bench
I love getting off the bench like that
It's so funny how the largest guy gets up off the bench the easiest. At least Nick has the excuse of age :-P
When you think you are the biggest in the gym and these two walk in...
When you think your the strongest in the gym
When you think you're the strongest in the gym.
When you think you re the strongest in the gym
I had a guy bigger than me that came in our gym last week, well he was taller and almost as big, if your going by weight. LOL!!! I was hoping he would join up.
When you think you're the strongest in the gym.
Eddie and Brian are the real version of Dom and Brad
But Dom is way bigger and stronger
But dom is like 500x bigger than brad. Brian aint that much bigger than eddie
Ya doms bigger than all three by alot
Dan Flesher Dom's so big, he's the world's first, second, and third biggest man.
@@rickniu4153 who said Brian was dom?
I love that around training Eddie is talk a bunch of crap but then when it's time to actually spot he does his job. Its wonderful watching you guys train!
Had a gym buddy like that, he knew how to trigger me the mofo, It was awesome to have spotter like that
at a certain point, you cut the ribbing when half a sedan is hovering over a guy's head lol
Eddie still has some of the best static strength. Back in 2017 he was a monster. Go check his bench vids of him hitting 585 for like 6 pause reps. He said he could take the bench record if he focused on it.
He is damned strong, but the way to 335 kg of Kyrill is very hard.
Ralf Buron At the time of 585 x6 paused he could hit like 660 for one, and Eddie being the guy he is he might just have had the wr in him if he trained for it. like he said. Just speculating ^-^
SmokinRaiders goldistomp from 300 kg to 335 kg there is a long, long way and the power do not grow endless. By the way Kirill is as old as Eddie and I think he can top his own record.
I'd like to see a sit-up contest between them all one day.
It would be like a tennis match between Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles...
@@MrPAULONEAL hahaha
Leon Wang yeah but he can barely get up off his back from the bench without using all of his body weight😂
@@julianwilliams3622 Yeah because sit ups do anything... Idiots who do situps as if they are going to have shredded abs are the biggest idiots on the planet. Getting shredded abs is literally eating less food than your body burns off, it's called a diet. Keep doing situps and destroy your lower back
Tushar V crunches are better i think
Nick Best is a national treasure
he looks like a wise turtle
Amazing facial hair as well haha 😂 but yeah great guy
Nick needs to grow his moustache.. that "chin only" beard makes him look weird.
Nick's laugh kills me.
@Jim Bean There are a number of us old guys who press big weights still. I will be 57 this month and have hit 585 raw this year as a gym lift with a touch and go.
Just another casual day lmfao Benching 500+ 👍😂😂
Every Saturday at 57 years old. LOL!!! (sorry I could not resist)
With a more difficult bar also
@@scottwhitley3392 I love a whippy bar and bench more with one. 550 and 560 go up easier with a whippy bar. Just saying
Kole Carter you’re an absolute unit then hahah, my 1 rep max is around 130kg (286) 🤣. have subscribed to your channel.
@USPatriot69 Have you ever laid down on the bench and even held 600 or 700 pounds above your face and neck? It is a feat regardless of their size. They may not be pound for pound as strong as some of the lighter lifters, but there is definitely a limit that the human body can take. If I was in a car accident I would rather have a 400 pound guy who could lift 600lbs off of me that a 140 lb guy who could lift 280 pounds off of me. Not hating. just stating facts.
nobody:
brian: benches more than most people can deadlift
@Zach Kaufman all of them bench more than most people can deadlift
On mr wobbly
I think you meant leg press
eddie hall looks like a gears of war character
I want all my soldiers to be as big as Brian Shaw.
Eddie’s kick ups to get up & off the bench just has me crackin up man🤦🏾♂️😂😂
"U smell that ,that's the smell of victory "😀😁😂Someone give this man a medal
10:45
Is it just me or does Brian make every one of his lifts look completely effortless regardless of weight
17:26 I have so much respect for Nick, he seems so genuine and so nice.
Brian and Eddie would be great in a Step Brother Comedy!
MattSk8s39
With little room for activities 😂😂😂
Imagine them on the bunk bed 😩😩😩
Eddie and Robert be the best, two always having the banter plus he already has the curly hair 😂
KNG Montanna Robert is the mom.
Brian is always thinking, "if I had a dollar for every nice thing Eddie ever said to me.......I couldn't afford a pot to piss in".
The way Eddie gets up from the bench 😂😂
Nick is even more graceful 😂
Honestly starting at 16:02 is some of the best advice I’ve ever been given on building strength!! Making training harder for yourself, going without a belt / straps etc, going into the comp making it easier! Thank you Brian and Eddie!
It’s such important advice for intermediates. You see so many guys in the gym lifting okay numbers, but they’ve got every single piece of supportive equipment on. Like if you weigh 80kg, there’s no need to wear a belt when squatting 100kg (unless you have underlying injuries of course). Just be patient and get stronger.
Ed Coan stated he rarely used a belt or wraps tell he got close to a comp. The GOAT of powerlifting.
You can tell how much respect Brian and Eddie have for Nick because at his age 17yrs older them and his able to keep up with the weight even if it's only 1 or 2 reps. Nick's a total legend and a fucking Badass!!
Nick is pretty impressive for his age. #OLDSTRONG💯
He is impressive for any age ! But at 50 - yes you are right
Eddie: “You smell that?”
Me in my head: Lemme guess, victory
Eddie: “Thats the smell of victory”
"Perfection takes time, buddy." hahaha How do you not love the Eddie-Shaw combo? Epic.
You can almost smell the sexual tension between Eddie and Shaw
Matheus Salabert wtf
WTF...
You gay
No that's just protein farts
😂
I know these guys are monsters but to just steady go up 45 lb plates to me after EVERY set puts me in awe. No matter how heavy you are. Next level strength
The blue band on Brian’s forearms is actually a head band
Lol no it not its a belt 😂😜
Most impressive I must say is nick best for hanging with these boys! God bless brother!
Yesss Shaw + Eddie Hall Friday night treat!!! :)
Eddie out the gate 🤣🤣🤣 thats why we watch lately
The intro made me laugh lol
When Brian, Eddie, Nick and Obie are together is the best. The boys work hard but have fun doing it. Genuine friendship
These guys are awesome. Mad respect to Nick for training this heavy at his age. He is a legend. I can watch these 4 guys all day. Awesome Foursome.
the amount of testosterone in that room is just crazy
Larry wheels laugh has more Testosterone than all 3 of em combined
Jake Paul his laugh has more test than their beards
@@user-yh8lt3vr5w his laugh alone can win wsm
All injected
Probably about 15,000 mg/week just in that room if you don’t count other compounds
I swear, gotta love that back and forth banter with Brian and Eddie. It's just like when you and your buddy cracks jokes at each other in the gym!!
ive been following you since you started. you have helped me get through incredibly hard trials in my life. I am not someone who even works out much, but your attitude and your inner compass gives me the direction I need in life. thank you, brian shaw. thank you
0:53 Eddie hall was looking at nick put the clip on the bar 😂
Love when either Brian or Eddie is finished with a set, they casually look at eachother trying to come up with some banter! :P
I like how the hardest part of this whole bench press session was getting off the bench
Love watching you guys. Strongest men in the universe having fun together and making weights look like feathers. Keep up the strong man history!
I love how Brian shaw censors swearing and he’s friends with Eddie hall who swears more than almost anyone 😂😂
Imagine going to a park full of kids with Nicks merch t shirt on :)))
This needs more likes!!!!
I went. Now im on FBI watch list
Good stuff Brian and Eddie, cool to see you guys putting up that kind of weight and making it look easy.
07:10 just roasting Obi. Savage Eddie lmao
Idk why i'm binging shaw videos. and even his intro music encouraging me to workout
That's good man and you're binging them bc they're awesome
Hey brian Improved my bench press from 200 pounds to 225 pounds thanks for the motivation
i have been watching this channel for almost a year I ended creating a CZcams channel this channel makes me want to trying harder and keep going on thanks this made me set a goal im going to try to hit it
It's hell entertaining to watch these guys but kinda depressing too these guys warming up with my 1 rep max :(((
Tolis Agiannidis quiet bozo everybody starts somewhere
Fam they started at 105kg...two plates a side, Rome was not built in a day fam....I can only rep that for 3!!
@@NSD-fp9qj shut the fuck up u idiot. I'm just asking him
I remember benching 225 for 3 reps before quitting the gym. Those were good days... Went from 180 to 225 in three months. Wasn't even taking protein powders. It was literally one of my bucket list top priorities. Lifting those four 45 lbs plates. And I'm super weak naturally. My wrists are only 2 inches wide and my hands are super small for a 6'1 guy, I'm talking girl size hands and wrists. Only God knows how I was able to curl the 45 lbs dumbells.
Despair why’d u quit
Love the constant motivational/sh** talking chemistry they all have together. Keep training hard guys :)
I love these guys!! They inspire me and I'm sure a lot of more people! Keep it up!!
Brian Shaw doing push ups was pretty impressive for me👏👏👏
Why?
@@WeightBully Y u think
@@iamvenom1352 dunno he benchs 500s for reps and weighs 400s+ why oh why would he not beable to do some push ups?
@@WeightBully It's not everyday u see a 400+ pounder do push ups whether they bench alot it's out of context but for me it's surprising wsm or not even pull ups is impressive for someone that size and that amount of weight don't u think
If u don't then ur a better man than I am
Is also good to see Brian Shaw work on his flat bench form
When Nick put up that 200, I cheered. Real shit.
I like seeing and hearing that you guys make the gym happen like that. It's easy to assume things but to hear that you went to bed at 2 and then made sure you were in the gym again at 8 just shows dedication to the grind. Sometimes you wonder if it's okay to push it when you're under stress or to still work out when you are in a situation with lack of sleep. Seeing the answer is good.
Eddie Hall crop dusted half of the gym😂
When this first started, I thought you were working out in a Convenient Mart lol
So much enjoy that these vids are showcasing everyone lifting! I know its Brians channel but I love seeing all of them lift and help each other out xD
New PR this week Watching you guys is always inspirational.
(Only yr2 training so that's going to be every three weeks all year.)
I never expected Brian to say "I'd like to play with it more" about Eddies bar
Love the chemistry between Brian and Eddie 😂
Thanks for the content Brian and being great, that does help motivate
You guys are awesome
Definitely get me pumped watching
I love a whippy bar when I am benching heavy. I am digging the age shirt too. I will be 57 this month. I love a deep knurled grip on my bar. Bar makes a big difference. Keep killing it you young men. Old man strength will kick in when you are in your 50s. LOL!!!
Brian and Eddie are the best man..
Love the banter back and forth between Eddie and Brian. 😂😂
I love that eddie and brian always argue and play around but when its time to train they motivate each other
I love when Eddie is in the videos
7:12 why’s he have to do Robert like that😭
You guys are awesome man. I needed that motivation. Gonna hit my heavy bag and hit weights after. 💪😎
having eddie hall or any of those guys as your spotter will make you feel much more safe
That's the same bench where Eddie did the legendary 265kg for 6 Paused reps
omg is that THE bench?!
Indeed my friend ^^ it's THEE
I GOTTA check that out
Great video, Bri. Love when you have these guys on the channel
i love how they compete against each other all the time but they’re like family at the same time it goes to show that competitors can be like brothers too
Eddie + Brian = iconic duo
*Sees video title WITH EDDIE HALL

Yous have the best life. Travelling, lifting, eating, meeting new people, and pushing ur body to its limits. I mean isn't it a shame most people don't experience how powerful their body's can get. I truly believe we should all see how strong our bodies can get while were here on this planet. Why waste it.
Some priceless wisdom there folks! Thank you B!
Go on Nick! World's strongest plate changer.
Sitting up is harder than the actual reps 😂😂
Love the comradeship you guys have. Makes for great watching. Really enjoying your channel Brian. 👌🏾👊🏾
Awesome video. Love the camaraderie among the most impressive strength athletes of all time.
10:24 God I hate turbo lag!
Nick Best looks like he could bench press a motorcycle!
According to google the average motorbike is like 400lbs so yeah he totally could
Jake yes, but the shape is very awkward and there is no good spot to grip, so it feels a lot heavier than 400
@@theleftuprightatsoldierfield It'd be easier to bench press or floor press the back end of a small hatchback because you can just grip the axle I have seen people bench press cars before.
I think you all are terrific! I really like to see you all find the limits and blast through them!
I am very happy to see you Brian and Eddie, God bless you, you are wonderful people.
10:46 The Beast just crossed the line. NON-NEGOTIABLE
You dont know him at all
Everytime Eddie farts: "Love is in the air"
Luv watching the strongest men on the planet train!!!! Thx
What a comeback.
Perfection takes time- Brian Shaw
I was with my maths... but...now i will study later 😂.
The hardest time I've ever had benching was when I was on deployments and was trying to bench press in rough sees but was also the most fun I had benching
@Brian Shaw the gentle giant so humble huge respect. Same goes for the other 3 love the show on History guys 👌
Great chemistry between Eddie and Brian. They work well together. Great double act
Why didn't Oberst lift with them lol?
@B Bennett same question. Saw his grocery shopping video. Still don't know who is his sponsor
He'd get too much shit from Eddie lol
He is to weak next to them.
B Bennett truthfully bench press literally isn’t his strongest point so he’d prob tap out a lot earlier than these guys, even to nick at 50. He sat out for ego sake.
@@bedford4383 What are blabbering on dude? There is a video of Robert benching 280kg/616lb. You're dumb.
6:33 there goes my max deadlift
@Nicholas Major sure I need to strengthen my bench in order to win more!! Thanks for the tip.
They don’t call him “THE BEAST” for nothing. ED has just raw power you can witness it in every rep. Great content Brian keep em coming
I love these two together so much
I love how they insult each other. Things real friends do!
