I will graduate in August with a masters in clinical psych so I don’t have an office. However, in a training another therapist said they had essential oils in their office so if there was a sent that was comforting to a client the client could put some on their hands.
My very first quarter of grad school I heard about the feelings wheel pillow cases, loved the idea and bought them! They've been folded up just waiting ever since! I should bring them to my site. I have two different ones. How fun that your SIL is also becoming a counselor! Perfect gift! We do have a little zen rock/sand garden which I think is so soothing. Also, since we work primarily with parents theres a small basket of toys for if the client is bringing their baby/toddler to session.
