Thanks for the review… cleared up my confusion and this was straight to the point. Good job.
Straight forward simple review. Thank you.
Great video
Great video!
Just found your channel and subscribed
I chose the 512 because it uses AA batteries which are much cheaper and easier to find than the cr123
Just ordered a 512.cant wait
Love my 512 👍
512 for me. I’m old school.
My 512 is a post-2019 production and I have had zero issues whatsoever. I like the AA battery usage in part because of availability. Everybody has a junk drawer full of AA’s 👍
Good Video. It's always better to save a little more money and Buy the Best you can find, you'll always be happier that way.
I have the Su231 553 eotech. Its tough, holds zero but the rifle its on is the last one I would reach for in an emergency. The rifle it's on is reliable and accurate but I can't leave the eotech on with their horrible battery life. The Xps series is even worse.I like the reticle but the rifle with the Aimpoint t2 or the rifle with carry handle are the ones I grab in an emergency.
They are nice ....I just picked up a XPS2-2 ...... You can find them well priced if you look ....I picked mine up new 2020 model for $429.00 free shipping .....
Picked up an exps 3-0 from reddit for 540 plus PayPal’s fees. And it’s a 2020 model. No shame in buying used.
@@kylegarcia4141 That's a good deal and it has NV..... I use mine at night on duty and with traffic lights I didn't need NV.....Good price ....
@@MannyScoot yeah I’m probably not going to use the NV settings, but they’re there if I ever have the cash to spend on some nods.
So the xps series don't come w/ qd feature? Only exps does right?
Oh, neat! I came close to getting one of those but ended up with a 518.A65 instead. The compact size of the XPS is really neat, but those batteries worried me. I wasn't really concerned with the shorter lifespan (600 hours for CR123 vs 1100 hours for lithium AA) but availability. You're always able to get AA batteries and can find them anywhere, and it's easy to find rechargeable ones and the units to recharge them. CR123...not so much.
Did just find out, though, that you can get rechargable CR123s off amazon.
Might be a good idea to getcha a pack of them, a solar battery pack, and a usb-plug equipped recharger. Lifetime supply of XPS2 reticle right there if ever you're in a position where the battery is running low but can't find any CR123s for sale.
518 is both... side setting with aa batteries
2:00 I mean, if you're going for EOTech, you're not really hurting for money; you're really just nitpicking for footprint and specific features.
Not really. Its not like you are spending huge money. No different than a $350 LPVO with a $150 mount. Compare it to a $50 reddot then sure
My budget isn’t tight and I’m going with a m spec Sightmark 😅😂 these are a waste
