That is my American short hair rescue. No violence just cusses me out. Even more impressive considering she’s 15 and was feral until 12. She lets me clip nails and clean ears. The vet is always surprised to find that out.

When Vanessa put the happy hood on booboo, I saw the void looking out, and it was not a happy void. A cute cat, love black cats in particular. This cat was a gentleman throughout the whole grooming process.

They don't just look outraged, they ARE outraged. Cats are self-cleaning, self-insulated units, and they function best when warm and dry.
Back cats are also known as a "void" for a good reason.

Yes, I have to watch the cat episodes when my own boys are out in the catio. They don’t care a bit about distressed dog noises but are freaked out by the upset kitties.
Me too! I have three. I learnt after Spicy Mayonnaise. Even though I tried saying it's okay, it's Vanessa, they were still on alert long after I cut the sound, especially so, as it was quiet after.

I have been sober since mid 2017 don't even own any animals but this channel has become my calming asmr to relax me when when I have evil thoughts cripping into my brain like drugs would be easier to deal with the back pain to deal with my bipolar episodes but here these animal's calm keep me settle down in such a peaceful manner😚🐶🐱🐾🐾💖

Boo boo is gorgeous. I love black cats. Their coats when kept in good condition looks like luxurious velvet. When you had finished his groom he looked liked that. He has a wee cute round face, just adorable and well behaved when he realised he was on the home straight for drying, de floofing and generally making him into a handsome chap.... When my cat was old and needed baths after the vet I always bathed him completely without running water. I'd have some jugs of clear water to rinse prepped so he didn't have to hear it running while he was in there. It made a big difference in how much he struggled.

I was thinking the same thing, with a heating pad to keep them warm. They make ones for reptile cages that can safely get wet. I bet you could also mount a jug up on the wall and attach a hose. Gravity would make it flow don a hose with some pressure, but not any noise. I keep waiting for a cat that she needs to put a tub in the rage cage for, lol.

I adopted 2 male cats last October, they are both FIV positive, they were at the shelter, anyway, they are pure blooded Ragdolls.
I think that if they weren't from a hoarding situation, one of them would be as docile as this guy.
I haven't had cats in a long time, and never even heard of Ragdolls, but, damn they are GENTLE. Had they not been FIV positive theres no way they would have been at the shelter for so long.

Little Boo Boo is so cute and such a gentleman. He reminds me a lot of a solid white very plushy cat we had for 17 years. She would meow pitifully during baths but did not fight because she needed it.

Handsome kitty! So behaved! I have a black cat too, but very long hair. She's a rescue, if I could, I'd take in more black cats. Black cats are notoriously hard to place & typically end up staying in shelters longer than all the other colors 😢 I absolutely adore my sassy little Vivian Kitty! My only complaint is that sometimes I can't find her because she lurks in shadows or blends in with some of our leather furniture😂

I rehomed one of my senior cats two or three weeks ago. When she lived with me she was cooperative in the bath and loved the car. She needed to be in a single pet household and that is why I rehomed her. She is spoiled and loved and appreciated in her new home. I am happy for her that she has what deserves in life.

Vanessa. I have to say this again. You have the most pleasant voice and manner of speaking to your customers. Your voice and manner is soft, sensitive, caring, respectful and kind. Even when you are suddenly stressed. It is also soothing and melanic. But not just to the animal you are working on, but to us who watch your work. You not only relax your customer, you also relax the viewer. I just love the way and manner you speak. While other groomers do fine work, they do not even come close to your approach. The world needs more like you.
