I always felt bad for having simple handwriting, especially because my teachers always told me that my handwriting wasn't necessarily up to their standards. But ever since I started watching your channel a few months back, I realized my handwriting has a few green flags and I've come to appreciate it more!! I dont feel bad about my signature anymore because it looks very much like my handwriting! So thank you Leah for making me feel a bit better about myself :D
so glad ! ! ! and thank you for sharing!!
pfp sauce?
@@orteney. It’s called Runway hit!! ITS SOOOOO GOOD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 💪😎

This is genius omfg
@@LeahEckardt oh my god im so shocked you replied🥹🥹🥹love your contents and i hope youre doing well, Leah!!
Wow, this is a really good idea!
This is literally the best idea I've seen in a while. I'd love to see this.
Every youtuber who makes a tierlist is a real youtuber 😊
I loved to hear about the fluidity trait! I've always looked at my handwriting and thought "well, this doesn't look like garlands or arcades", having it explained really feels wonderful :D
nice editing Leah!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I thought this too! It’s /balanced/ editing… just the right amount to be engaging and not distracting
This gives off horoscope and star sign vibes. Sounds like a way to make people feel unique and affirm their own general positive traits about themselves through something as trivial as handwriting
Lowkey doesnt make sense to me how you stand up for yourself because your lowercase K looks uppercase. Sometimes you're just in a hurry and write fast so the K looks messed up. I don't think it's that deep. You can tell General traits about someone's personality from their handwriting, but specific traits from the way a letter is written feels like a little too much
Yeah, I feel this handwriting analysis stuff is very pseudoscientific.
That's a very ignorant comment. Get informed about what graphology is before criticising, you're making yourself look as a very ignorant person.
@@richardbutler9217 that is not the same as saying it is equivalent to the horoscope, that is very extreme since the horoscope is complete nonsense while graphology is actually useful, for instance graphology is used in forensics and criminology. So it has real useful applications. It's not the same as the horoscope which is purely misleading people into throwing their money away and being manipulated. Also, graphology has evolved and self-criticised and improved over time, so that argument doesn't apply.
@@richardbutler9217 @richardbutler9217 ummm alright ? The U.S this the U.S that... man, I'm not even from the U.S I don't know and shouldn't be expected to know what you do in your country.. but also and more importantly, please chill, this is just a CZcams video that people watch for entertainment purposes, you're taking it waaaay too seriously. This is not a university class or sth, maybe let people enjoy the things they like and try to relax a little :)
This was awesome! Btw, I totally opened my journal and looked at my handwriting lol
Also, this is the first time I feel good about my signature - it's just like my regular handwriting. When I went to get my ID, I was told that my signature looks like a middleschooler did it because it's not overly decorated and unreadable.
little do they know ... they are in the presence of a truly authentic person :)
That’s positive. I believe they call it panache’ but sometimes it is just trite cliche’
Did they say it in a rude way or were they simply stating an observation? Also why do our photos look like a mug shot now days? Can't even have a slight smile!? 🤦♀️
@@earthmama9597 Slightly rude, sadly
@@aleksandra3552 This is just more proof that often when people treat you bad, it's about Them, not You. (Also, folks: consider the source.)
Now I feel better for having my name in cursive as my signature! I always felt so ashamed for not being creative enough to make an elegant and “produced” signature.
I am indeed a very transparent person and this made me feel so much more confident. Thank you so much! ❤
Because I was a lefty taught to be a righty, my writing is print, with some fluid connections from years of practice.
I knew it felt wrong when I was taught to hold the pencil with my right hand, but I assumed that writing was supposed to feel that way.
I have different signatures as well depending on the purpose. I have one for business documents, and ones for my art, and one that I'd use if I were signing autographs.
My handwriting also varies with my mood.
I've since learned to write as a lefty, but it's hard to be as exact as I am with my right, and it's far slower, so I often don't use it.
so fascinating!! I would love to see more examples of writing from lefties that were forced into being right handed. thank you so much for sharing
@@LeahEckardt hi im also a leftie forced to be a righty and i'd also love to answer any questions or share my experience about it. I could send my handwriting in both hands if you'd be interested in using it in a video!
Woah, as somebody who's learned to write with their non-dominant (right) hand, I also usually use it for writing in print. However, I wasn't forced to switch hands, so I believe I may have made the conscious decision to write in that style. Still, I wonder if it's common for forced righties to write in print, as writing with one's non-dominant hand tends to feel more unnatural.
Man, I am a lefty all the way. I’d love to learn how to write with my right hand - as well as play guitar, with my right.
Especially with the health issues I have - my left side can get a bit sore.
I have this theory, about doing mirror exercises.. It’s similar to how amputees with phantom pains will do exercises in the mirror, with their remaining limb.
The brain registers it as the limb, which, was amputated - so, it allows the brain to build new neural pathways, to a limb it believes exists, vs. the one that no longer does.
I’m wondering if practicing, say, the guitar in the mirror, as a lefty, would allow my brain to shift easier into playing right handed - being I am, like, SUPER left-handed.
Which, is a bit of a bitch - being most guitars come right-handed..
@@XOChristianaNicole Honestly, just incorporating the use of my non-dominant hand in my daily life is what worked best for me. Maybe keeping a little notebook on your person for practicing to write with your right hand could help.
I have a question, if someone were to change their handwriting on purpose, would it eventually change their traits or no? Like for example if someone with low confidence were to just start deliberately writing bigger and wrote their t bars up higher, would they feel more confident?
I don’t know the exact answer but I feel like it could make you feel more confident in the moment but unless you write all the time and always look out for it it will quickly go away after finishing writing
There is something called reverse graphotherapy where people change aspects in their handwriting on purpose. From what I’ve heard, it works to change personality traits but I haven’t really done much research. I think if someone were to start deliberately placing their t bars higher their drive to succeed would increase, kinda like subliminal messaging because it’s working with the unconscious mind…. Does that make sense haha 😭😭😭
Yeah, there are programs on forensic where they go to jail and detention camp 🧱🧸 and do handwriting therapy sessions on young criminals to remove their sociopathic handwriting traits and teach them how to write. ✨The graphologist in the study claims to have 100% success rate and that she can successfully reprogram their subconscious
yes this is a concept called graphotherapy! and although I haven't really done thorough research on it, I have colleagues that have, and they find it to have results. I've been a bit reluctant to study it because I know that changing your handwriting takes a lot of disciplined practice, and is not easy for most people. hope this helps!
@@LeahEckardt ohhh ok thanks everyone for replying
I got my journal out to compare right before the video went in depth, and I am glad to say that this video has opened my eyes. I’ve had a family member compare and criticize my handwriting to the point that I started copying theirs, but still retained my own style. I’m still conscious of my writing, but videos such as these really allow me to be my unique self. Thank you! ❤️
astrology for calligraphers
Literally 💀
I haven't had anyone analyse my handwriting and it's very difficult for me to do it because I'm afraid of what my traits might mean (even if I do recognise what the overall majority means), but this whole thing with the garlands made me feel better about my handwriting :)
Often, when I’m writing quickly
I’ll switch some of my letters to print and then back to cursive. I’ve always felt embarrassed by this, like I couldn’t maintain one style, but according to this video, it’s just fluidity! Thanks for making me feel more confident in my handwriting
Back in school, I always found my handwriting ugly (courtesy of long stuff we had to copy). Lately, I realized it's gotten better although it's not actually "beautiful" in my eyes. I was really surprised with the green flags in this video because some of them were refelcted on my handwriting. Thanks for the confidence boost!
I really like the way you describe the traits. With this video you surely offered some info for the people to search in others writing or maybe to include in their own writing. Super!❤
yesss I've never seen anyone else with the threading/connecting letters that isn't cursive! so cool learning about handwriting analysis
I'm learning graphology thanks to you, ty Leaaah!
It's so nice to see the good things for a change! 😊
My handwriting has always been praised. Now that I'm watching this video, I realised I have about 8-9 of these traits in my handwriting. Never knew my handwriting had so much personality.
no. 3 is so my best friend, and the description is accurate. my friend has the BEST sense of humor and makes everybody feel comfortable around her and she laughs A LOT. A lot is an understatement. but like you said, if they have many waves in their handwriting, mits hard for them to take things seriously, and that corresponds with her, so i dont tell her anything that im serious about unless its really important
You have good insights. I have been semi-obsessed by handwriting analysis since I was a kid ( now in my 60s). Once I see someone's handwriting I don't forget it.
Is this astrology for handwriting?
Your video was suggested on my feed out of nowhere, I clicked and I loved it! Very relaxing and interesting content!
Lately I have become a little bit interested in handwriting analysis (bcuz of ur videos!), and I think ur explanations make sense and I like how u explain 😄 On the other hand, not to brag about myself, but I have 8 of these traits (I have double checked), except backbone K and waves, and I feel happy :D I alr like my handwriting and didn't know it can mean so much. Thank youu ☺️
This makes me so happy, people always call me out for having "ugly/messy" handwriting and signature but i didn't know there's meaning behind it:D
so glad you made this!! was really interested :)
Gal has turned handwriting into astrology 💀💀💀
Thanks for doing this topic! It actually made me smile to see the title. It’s nice to highlight positives we can look for
this was a really interesting video, good job leah!! i also really liked your choice of background music heheh the classical vibe was really enjoyable
Leah, you should talk more about the waves in handwriting! I have this trait, and i mostly use it in my signature/when writing my name, for the top of a capital J
Mhmm then it comes to the category of fugitive gesture & flourishing
There are many types such as boldness, confusion, flattery, hiding, phlegm..
Some would disagree with me, but waves in the signature would indicate a humorous social personality! like the "public image" has a self of humor!
Another great video! I especially agree with balanced zones, similar signature to hte handwriting and simplicity.
Hey leah! I actually came back to say this was such a great video!!! Loved the content and the editing was on point, keep up the good work!
I'm so glad you popped up in my feed! Looking forward to more of your videos 😇
Apart from this being a cool, interesting, to the point video, I really appreciate your editing style and the chill background music!
As less and less people write on a daily basis, judging their character based on their handwriting seems mis guided.
I learned to write in cursive growing up. My handwritting was always pretty and legible for a guy... I persued a career in engineering technology and havent written much down in years. My handwriting, now, is messy and I only do it when I have to quickly jot something down when a keyboard isnt available. How do you assess my character based on that?
I'm 27. What can you say about the people younger than me who use laptops instead of notebooks in elementary school. Handwriting, for them, is just a task narrowed down to written essays within time constraints during exams; Not exactly fair conditions for judging their character based on how they write.
Oooohh my gosh, I always knew that the handriwwitng has something to do with my emotions and who I am. And I have been looking for something just like this for so long! Thank you
Wow! You brought this subject which has interested me for a long time to life! Nice passion! Your insights really resonate, too.
Whoa, this video was super interesting and informative! I especially loved the “FU K’s” section, because I always write my K’s where they look uppercase and just thought that I didn’t learn how to draw lowercase ones good enough. But after hearing about how it shows someone who has backbone and has problems with authority, that felt like a total call out lmao. So, thanks Leah for making me like my K’s again!
i love this! it helps me learn more about handwriting analysis
yet again another great video leah! ❤
Great video! You are so super knowledgeable :) and I say that as someone who, as a nerdy child, studied handwriting analysis as a hobby
Oh my god, these aren't the type of videos that I usually watch but, I decided to watch it, and guess what? I opened my backpack took out my notebook, started analyzing hehe, It was so fun, these are the type of content, where you didn't know you'd be interested in them until you watched it, loved it mwuah 11/10
You just described my handwriting perfectly! Im glad my mental health and mindset journey has led somewhere good😂
My handwriting originally came from being over competitive. In grade school we would have hand writing tasks to complete and my only goal was to get it done as fast as possible. So from that point on, my handwriting has had lots of fluidity but is very hard to read. I even remember my teacher telling me to stop writing in cursive because she couldn't read it. It's still borderline cursive now, I just barely lift the pen off the page for each letter, so there is some distinction.
I can write in a simple more structured style when I slow down, but that's my sort of performative style when I wish for it to look good.
Oh my gosh. This is the EXACT SAME for me with my handwriting because mine is just like this. I always write in print but it looks half like cursive, and, if I don't look at my notes often, I sometimes find MYSELF not being able to read my own handwriting; in grade school, it was common to have my teachers hand back my tests with "sloppy work" written at the top, and I also remember starting a job taking food orders during my college years and my boss and co-workers making jokes about my writing looking like a doctors' signature (they got used to it quickly, though). 😆 I find that I'm capable of writing legibly and in a style that looks more like a proper print but only if I write very slowly, but I have no patience for that so find myself still using fluidity.
And I've always been annoyingly competitive, especially when I was younger, so maybe not a coincidence.
But, overall, I'm glad to see that this falls under the Green Flag category because I always got negatively for my penmanship. (And I do have a knack for creative problem-solving).
Your videos are so interesting!
Some years ago, an organization with which I'm affiliated needed to fill a temporary spot to complete a particular project. Someone asked me to apply for that spot, and several other folks also applied. I ended up getting the position, and later learned that the lady with whom I would be working studied handwriting analysis. Apparently she had decided that she wanted me to come work with her on that particular job, based, in part, on something she'd seen in my handwriting. Of course it helped that I passed the interview, but I found that interesting, then, and now.
Thanks for the signature part I always get bit self-conscious about signing my art work with my basic ass handwriting so hearing that there is someone who appreciates it is guite nice
Since I found your channel I've been trying to improve my handwriting lately. Thinking about they way I was taught in early schooling makes me wonder about either my teacher or who wrote that part of the curriculum. I've never been fast with writing neatly and often I tend to spell the words out in my head or even forget how to draw an individual letter (oh why are b's and d's a mirror image?). This leads to ink bleeding spots on the paper if I use anything other than a ball point or, oddly enough, a cheap fountain pen. I find sometimes the letters bunch up on longer words as my hand doesn't move easily on the paper. Otherwise, my quick note taking writing is quite different.
what an unexpected and interesting video! i had no idea about any of this
also you've got such a lovely personality :D really enjoyable to listen to
So sweet! I like your outlook. I have a lot of letters in my name, so I’ve had to learn to compensate by making my signature smaller and more linear than feels natural, to squeeze it in on a lot of forms, receipts, cards, etc. That means my signature is often less representative of my personality than anything else I’ve written above.🤷♀️
Thanks for your videos! I got interested in graphology because I have discovered your channel! Cant get enough ❤
i don't know a THING about letters but i love your analysis videos, i watch all of them and im all for it
Absolutely brilliant. Well explained and fun to watch.
Very interesting! I find my writing is I guess more along the fluid line where I hand write and print at the same time. But sometimes I do full or almost full hand writing and almost full printing as well depending on my mood. It also depends on my purpose as well. For example, if I’m journalling I tend to do more handwriting. If I’m writing to share information for someone I tend to print because I don’t know what they’re reading skill is. And if it’s a good friend you’ll see that more fluid type writing. Additionally, being a teacher where handwriting is no longer taught in our schools for the most part, most of my stuff is printed unless I’m in a hurry like in a brainstorm session and then in older grades I tend to have messier hand writing because it’s just a matter of getting it on the board which of course changes how handwriting will look to a degree as well.
i have a lot if fluidity in my hand writing and my personality is exactly loke you described! and also i noticed i have anxiety breaks as well in some of my writing. when i look back at the content of the writing (i journal regularly) it was when i had lows on my life so… yeah it’s really interesting how hand writing could says a lot about a person :D
Whoaaaa! Everything you've said about my handwriting style has been true, and I've only seen a few videos of yours so far. In this one, the signature part is accurate!! I've heavily practiced, crafted and re-designed my signature since I was like 13. It looks fancier and more "put together" than my own writing. Firstly, it's connected like cursive, and some letters are just squiggles that give the general idea of what letters are there. Also it goes beyond the lines. My natural handwriting however is very neat and within the lines (y and g for instance I don't allow to swoop under as they probably should). And you say it's performative? IT'S TRUE, BECAUSE I'M AUTISTIC AND I MASK A LOT, TO SEEM NORMAL TO PEOPLE (or fail trying). I always try to seem like I have my life together, because I really don't, and I struggle a lot. Amazing!
This is absolutely beautiful! I usally only heard about all kinds of red flags. I have a few of these green flags ... FU K's, garlands, a signature that looks like my regular writing, fluity breaks and that simply makes me happy 😊
I love your channel, your videos on graphology are interesting, and you’re great! 😊🤍
I was looking for tips on improving my handwriting because i was always told that it's terrible and unreadable. I found your channel and i don't want to change it anymore and accepted it ^^
Love you work my mother used to do this. It's very inligting
Very interesting analysis, I was told once I am a complicated person because of my signature being different than my usual handwriting, but the reason behind is I was advice to make it different to avoid forgery of the signature. In informal letters I just write my name without the surname.
I love your videos. Every time I see you posted a new one I try to watch it immediately 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Just stumbled across your channel and I think this is so cool! I knew writing conveyed characteristics about others but I never thought you could look at it so in depth! I kept thinking of all the people that I know and how they write and most traits aligned with what you said lol. Also you explain each points so beautifully! I bet you have amazing handwriting :) Definitely subscribing! I hope you hit 100k soon!
Loved this video! It was nice to see green flags, I feel like we're always talking about red flags, or the more concerning handwriting. This is also interesting, but haha balance is nice :)
4:30 -- Fluidity! I had to pause the video to listen again and comment here! I am so excited because the description matches how I described both my handwriting and my personality when commenting on the Red Flags video a mere moment ago! Although I described some letter shapes as lazy or incomplete, "efficient" is certainly a better description, because I have the problem-solving personality type you described here.
There were a few other Green Flags that described my handwriting style too.
😊 You made me feel awesome. Thank you!!
SAMEE!!!!
Do you think you could do an analysis on famous musical artists’ handwriting? I’m not sure if you’ve done it before or not. Honestly I’d really like to see an analysis on David Bowie’s handwriting because to me, his i dots seem really interesting. think it would be really cool to just generally see really creative and revolutionary musical artists’ handwriting to possibly get a look into how their brain works.
Also really love your videos :) They’re super informative
I love watching your videos! You are amazing!
Stumbled across this video and I really enjoyed it, thanks for sharing! Actually thought about my handwriting too lol
It's 9 in the morning and I'm watching this video very intersting, learned a lot.
I've just found you. I'm interested in different types of handwriting and their meaning. This was very useful. Thank you. 🌹
Had to pause the video to say that the part about the waves being associated with people that like making others laugh is accurate! For me the wave has always been a stylistic choice, so this was a cool new fact to learn! 😊💕
I also always wondered why I always had a little pause (the anxiety break) in my handwriting when I take lecture notes, and that segment of your video makes sense. In that setting I’m rushing to get as much information as possible so it tracks lol
Interesting video! Thanks for sharing with us!
Hey Leah!
I wanted to check in to see if you were doing okay! I haven't been liking the vitrol that I have been seeing in the comments, so I had to leave for a while for the sake of my own mental health. I hope that you're taking care of yourself in all the ways that you can.
Your content is very specialized and hasn't been spoken about in as much detail to the public before. I can see that you are very experienced and passionate about it. Keep going! ❤
you can change your personality through your handwriting. it is a reflexive thing. quite magical really
I am glad to hear fluidity is a green flag. My writing is what I call “looks like cursive but not.” I found printing letters inefficient and disrupted my my thoughts and the writing experience but I never spent enough time practicing cursive (until now, as I work through a Michael Sull book).
Also, I always thought my signature being similar to my writing was boring but I am glad to 😊 learn it is a green flag.
Great video! It is wonderful to see how you, Leah, have grown in your videos and knowledge.
My handwriting is a mix of cursive and print lol. I try to at least make it legible, though.
Hey , Really very good work by you. I watch you video a lot . They are very help full for me.
Thanks !!!
This is so cool I’ve never heard of something like this
Omg, I guess you would love me, haha... I always thought my handwriting is ugly, especially my signature, but now I have a lot of appreciation for it. Thanks a lot! 😊
Wow this is so interesting. I never knew anything about handwriting but I always have noticed how it reflects in people. I have always taken a lot of pride in my handwriting even at a young age(also I'm a male). My dads handwriting looks nothing like mine, but it's similar in the fact that we both write quick, maybe looks "messy" at first glance but actually very neat and legible haha. I guess it would be best described as a lot of fluidity(not at all cursive), but with good spacing and baseline etc. I wish I could've hand-written this comment to show an example. Really great video, I learned a lot and I'm sticking around for more
Thank you for lifting up my mental health.❤
I LOVE THIS!
The "Zodiac Signs" of handwriting, lol. Imagine you hand your gf a shopping list and she comes back with, "the way you wrote 'we need milk' is indicative of a lack of character... we're through".
the fluidity thing was very interesting to hear! i have quite a lot of that in my handwriting :)
wow this was a pretty eye opening information, loved the video
i love the vibe of this video
this is so interesting, glad i clicked on the notif omg
Thank you very much for the helpful advices. 🙂
GURL, THIS WAS SOOOOOOOOO ACCURATE. i for the life of me cant write k lower case, like i can physically write it, but subconsciously, i like cant. and teachers would always tell me off but likeeeee, I CANT CONTROL IT GURL. but yh, i definitely stand up for myself and i will always defend till the ENDDD. but i deffo have authority issues, like i am quite brave with ppl my age and stuff, but i cant even put my hand up in class. idk but i have like a fear of authority figures and i can never seem to find the deep rooted reason, but yhhhhhh, THAT WAS SCARILY ACCURATE
OMG I have always been so insecure about my K's because they look like this and now you made me feel so much better. I am definitely a no bs kinda person. I will call someone out on bad behavior and am always quick to defend someone who I feel is being taken advantage of or mistreated. Very momma bear personality. Love your interpretation of it and it's so spot on! I have the balance type of writing but I do not do waves. I have a load of links in my letters but it's more garland than anything imo. The fluidity is definitely how I write. My signature, imo, is nothing like my handwriting. If you accept samples on IG I can send you some since I write SO very often, I have plenty for you to peek at!
Lol sweepea, you ARE very close 💃🏼💃🏼 I subscribed for ya, and shared you with my daughter ☺️
Adorable and informative!
ahhhh my handwriting is really fluid!! im so happy it’s a good thing :)
I have the wave, good rythm, and that intuitive fluidity!
this video is such a slay 😻
How do you see it's an anxiety break when someone is mixing print and cursive? And how does it work for print users? Loved the video!
print writers don't connect their writing, so you most likely wont see it in the writing of print, but in general an anxiety break will make the handwriting slow down, of break the rhytym, and if the break doesn't hurt the speed than its intuitive. kinda hard to describe, but this is another way to look for it if that makes sense :D
This is pretty interesting
Im glad i came across this video since it felt silly how intrigued i am by handwritings
garland and the fluidity reminds me of when I was basically writing lots of loops like I was writing account and it looked like a bunch of loops together when looked at from a different angle lol but anyways this is a cool video I love learning about cool things like this and how handwriting can connect to someone mentally or their mental state its very cool!
That was fun thank you
To the point: great video!
I'm not totally convinced of the validity of graphology, but I am interested. You don't give examples for some of your points, so I have trouble understanding them.
literally no body posts stuff like this anymoere i feel great pls keep posting such interesting stuff
