Vintage Wuhan China 24", 1960s, 2712g

Truly a collector's item, this Wuhan Chinese Cymbal dates back to the 1960s/70s prior the the US having a trade agreement with China!
Prior to 1979, Chinese musical instruments were not available in the United States and percussionists from the U.S. had to use a "by any means necessary" approach to bring authentic sounds into this country. This instrument arrived in this country under those secretive circumstances. It's actually 23.75" diameter and the center hole is a narrow 3/8" that will mount on a 6mm or vintage 1/4-20 cymbal stand post but it will not fit on a modern 8mm post. We are selling it as is but will increase the hole diameter at the buyer's request. It goes without saying that this is a fantastic sounding musical instrument but it is also a true collectable.
