I fixed my blend door with a simple black 1/4 inch heavy duty tie wrap. Don't use the clear ones becase they dry out abd break. Its been 2 years now using the AC and heat at times without issues. I got simple access thought the computer display.

The damaged part is actually the black plastic arm and not the actuator itself. It can be fixed with a tie wrap.
