The Power of Positive Thinking is a self-help book by Norman Vincent Peale, originally published in 1952. It proposes the method of "Positive Thinking". It basically aims at ensuring that the reader achieves a permanent constructive and optimistic attitude through constant positive influence of his conscious thought (e.g. by using affirmations or visualizations) and consequently achieves a higher satisfaction and quality of life. While early contributors in the positive thinking movement had built on theoretical justifications (like Phineas Parkhurst Quimby, Ralph Waldo Trine, Prentice Mulford), the The Power of Positive Thinking made more use of positive case histories and practical instructions.

During a very depressing time in my life I found this audio on cassette tapes at a garage sale about 22 years ago. Listening to it everyday to and from my job - helped to turn my life around for the better and helped my mind to get through an emotional divorce being a single mother with 2 small kids. It gave me immense confidence to believe in myself and know I can pursue anything I wanted in life. I have a great life spiritually and mentally because of this.

I was loaned the book by a colleague 35 years - the material and advice given in the book became my life line , it helped me push forth and beyond , I read it daily - it reinforced that God had my back and the biblical quotes gave me confidence and strength to believe in myself . I read this book 30 years ago .
I suffered severe anxiety and negetive thinking from childhood.
Though I became a born again Christian in my late teens I continued suffering with anxiety and low self esteem.
One of my freind gave me this book.
This power of positive thinking book changed my life and happiness significantly long term.
I read this book again and again and practiced some of the techniques given regularly with faith.
I became a more positive and happy person.
Achieved lots of wonderful things in life .I was able to handle life challenges more brave and positive.
Even now I have a copy of the book with me and read it now and then to refresh my thinking.
It's very nice to have this audio vedio .Thanks for uploading it in CZcams.
I would recommend this book with all my heart and I am sure if a person takes time and read through it will Defenitly see a change in them in a positive way.

My life is upside down right now and this has been a year of challenges for me. My marriage is failing and my finances are in strife and I feel like I'm barely hanging on. My mom sent this video to me and the power of positive thinking has been a part of my make up for years. I pray and I believe God will get me through these storms.
I was extremely sick from covid and was hospitalized! I always stayed postive telling myself i was to young to die! Everynight i was in the hospital! I prayed to god! I got better and returned to work in 6 weeks! I had alot of time to think when i was sick laying in bed, "realized" i hated my job and i didnt know why i was still there! after i got back to work! I started applying for jobs! 5 months later i got a life changing job! This book helped me change the way i think, and look at things! I started reading books like this! when i was 27 now im 34! I really try to apply this knowledge into my everyday life! And it really has change it!

I thank you for sharing, because I found out that "God is with me" I found my family to use my institution stay to keep me trapped, but they don't know the " power of prayer". I glad 😊 that I continue, because I see a lot of people loosing there life to Suicide. I learned to advocate for myself and in my journey, I found love 💕. 50 yrs ago I was in a multi level business & the CEO of the company gave me this book & it completely changed my life & set me on the road for renewing my mind & the way I see my life. The business went no where but my life changed. It brought me to a revelation knowledge of Jesus Christ. I surround my life to Him. As I listen to it again I never realized how much scripture & how biblical this book is. When I 1st read it I don’t remember it being such a spiritual book. One of THE best books I have ever read and to think but was published so long ago.
I actually had heard of this book in passing many years ago as it was mentioned as one of Michael Jackson's favourite books. I can see why it would be. Excellent book. Everyone should read it. You can always tailor it to your needs.

This is 1 of the best books I've 3ven read I was given this by a mentor of mine many years ago and though I haven't seen this mentor in a while she gave me so much she doesn't realise the toolbox she'd given me for life and I came across this audio tonite on utube by accident it's reminded me I must re read this book again

I am blessed. Have a family of my own. Work is good. Got health. Honestly not much I need. Yet I still hit rock bottom with depression at times. Used to think these are corny. I realized that the main reason for doing this is not about the success but the inspiration I've been providing some people with my stories while helping others do the same as I shared the lessons & experiences through making videos to have a sense of meaningful purpose. Therefore, I’m planning to quit nursing to pursue youtube full time as there are lots of issues in our traditional health systems as these don’t align with my values. It’s a huge learning curve but I love helping people through making videos.
Also, as part of my video creation progress, I’m switching to a better editing software and a camera so the learning curve is much higher and slows down the completion speed of my next videos so please hang on tight! I do appreciate your support and kind words! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
