I hate scammers, especially scam channels. It’s so annoying how people say “they’re quitting” just to earn people’s sympathy so they buy 🙄

I’ve fallen for the gem shop scam twice, so someone was saying they had a gem shop, and I had quite a lot of gems back then, so I decided to go check it out. When I bought the items, I had realized that I only had 500 sapphires left when I originally had 1.5k saps. I also fell for another one recently doing the same thing, I had 1.5k saps again and bought something for 500 saps when I had intended to buy it for 500 gems. Now that I’ve learned the lesson twice I think I’m sure enough to not fall for it again lol. Thank you for spreading awareness!

The "Adding a bunch of junk and then removing the good item" part made me do a biiiig sigh cause I actually did that to someone on _accident_ due to a misunderstanding. Basically they were trying to trade for one of my pets and they wanted fossils too, but the items they were offering weren't really worth it for the pet so I asked them if they were cool with just trading for the fossils and they said yes. So... I removed the pet, and they totally freaked out like "HEY! WHY'D YOU REMOVE IT?" and I was like... _Oh._ So I tried to explain that I thought they just wanted the fossils but they weren't happy with me at all so they cancelled the trade and ran around crying "SCAMMER!" at me. Uuuugh. Knowing that's actually a common scam makes me understand better why they assumed so quickly that I was scamming, but jeez that's embarrassing that I'm now known as a little trickster in their eyes. :(
I almost got scammed by flash trading traded an offer, containing some of my best items, for teal forest, they changed it to a paintseed launcher, I got saved by the trade glitching out… I am so lucky
My friend got scammed from one of those giveaway scams, what she lost was a ruby pet, nocturnal moth glasses and a bit more. We were really bummed so she favourited the person. About 30 mins later the person gave all the stuff back!!😂🎉
I got scammed from one of those as well! I favorited it the person and basically "stalked" them in order to get my items back. Unfortunately they already sold my pet peacock and various other items so I really only got three items back

back in like, 2017, i was at this trust trading giveaway on aj classic, i knew it was a scam but i did it anyway.
scammer traded me a red and green long, accidentally accepted, and started screaming at me to give it back... i just left lol
i was fairly young at the time and that was like, the best day of my life on aj that day..
I really like what pink otter says bc I've seen people saying quitting. But they just want the money from you, plus NEVER DO TRUST TRADE you'll end up loosing your items a lot plus your time as well. It's really awful and the fact they're trading people to ask you how much you'll buy the item and ect. I always check wiki to be 100% sure im safe and not getting scammed either loosing saps.
Lmao if they were quitting theyll either gift or trade it away. Before i quit i gifted most of my stuff away. Lmao now im back playing the game and bum about my items but i can start over
What happened to me was pretty simular to the flash trading method, but what happened was someone was trying to offer for one of my tails and they put a good item and then like 3 pages of pet accessories after. They then basically said, "hold on let me remove some pet accessories because there's so many", but when I went back to the first page the good item was gone, so I declined the trade. Luckily, I didn't get scammed, but it's a good reminder to always be cautious and look over the items again so you don't get scammed, especially if there's a lot.
This was a very long time ago, but I remember a very funny scammer on AJ classic. They clearly had no idea what they were doing. It was the scammer and this other jammer they had with them. They were trying to pull a "beta tiara" scam on me - using a store bought one instead. Even though I told them multiple times that's not a beta tiara. I even bought one to wear as evidence, but they still insisted. They told me to trade for the "beta tiara" and then they'd trade me their LPHD to me for it. I also said, that what they wanted from me was not even close to the value of an LPHD, so why the heck would it get me that tiara? Which is worth even more than an LPHD btw. Trade them yourself bro, you seriously don't need me. Obviously, they ignored that too. But that wasn't the funniest part. Looking at the other jammer's username, it was the scammer's with "spare" added to it. Whoops.
Then they traded the HD for the "tiara" and accused me of scamming. Bro, you did that completely on your own. I even told you multiple times that the tiara isn't beta and offered proof. XD

This video had some great points! Also I don’t recommend buying any items off of eBay even if you can trust the seller, in my opinion it’s kinda overpriced from what I’ve seen! But also I wouldn’t recommend doing that in general it’s a bad idea! Thanks for making this video! ❤

Another way to safely buy items for over 5k is this; say you are trying to buy teal forest for 25k, in that case you trade the seller 5 items worth 5k for the forest, then the seller puts those 5k items in shop for you to buy them back. You get forest and your 5k items back, and they get their 25k.
14:49 "Earth maul" "Earth mu" "Earth mail" 🗿 16:28 you can also if it's specifically galaxy forest you can see if it's Halloween version or not by seeing the forest set effect icon which looks like a green leaf. If it's not there it's the Halloween version. If it is there double check with the wish list method to see if it's the blue version 👌
Whenever I say that selling items from a children's game is illegal, they try to give me arguments and it makes me laugh because it's a children's game xd also that money is not clean.
Work to not end up like those people who try to live off the sales of pixels from a children's game 👍

this is from personal experience- but with the prize scam, i have always gotten a prize in return (an example is a jammer said “buy the pet in the shop, get one free” and i did get a pet for free.) however still be cautious of it tho

i remember back in the day when flower crowns were rare and they were my dream item so i traded my ghost shoes for one and two days later THEY WERE BACK IN THE STORE
i remember one time, my old friend (who manipulated, lied, copied art, ect ect) told me her purple snd green clock glasses were worth my ruby puppy and rare clover earrings- i was even waering decent coloured clock glasses at the time and she begged 😭(dw i didnt trade her and we're no longer friends)

I remember one time I went to a trading competition for a golden pet token with only one other jammer. I was sorta new though, so I guess that was the reason they gave everything back, or they were just really trustworthy. I ended up getting a crafted head flower, which I later recycled.
I trusted my dearest buddy with my favorite pet, she had scammed people before, but she gave him back thankfully

The only time I trade around pets on expeditions, is for my sister, as she will throw a fit if I don’t give the pet back, she gives it to me for sending out, and then she trades me and I give it back as she doesn’t have member on her temp account. (She forgot the password to her member account, so she needs a reset pass)

I remember like a couple years ago (idk how many I forgot :-:) someone (I have no clue what their usernm is) was trading me a rainbow spike for my galaxy wings and added a BUNCH of the jungle gyms but I checked back to the beginning (as one does) and they removed the rainbow spike so I declined
I got scammed by a person putting in an item that I really wanted plus some pets for my blackout spike, I accepted and realized that they took out the high value item☹️😅
Another time was the giveaway scam and I was so dumb because I gave them dizzy star bc they had Freon’s assuring me that they were giving back the items😅

I used to be a scammer like forever ago. Me and my ex did this long process where we would bring people to a den for a “party”. Then an extra account would come in and fake a duplication glitch and fake the dupe glitch on back up accounts and then once we got items from others we’d leave and block everyone and trade the items to our mains. We got RICH it was insane!
People have been trying to scam me lately, for example someone told me they had this item that there was only ten of it in the game, also someone tried to scam me for my snowy glider

I have a strict personal policy of only playing with my own personal friends that I know outside of just AJ, or any similar mmo or website for that matter. I know that doesn't work for everyone, but it works for me. It does make it hard when I'm playing though, because it does get a touch boring and monotonous playing alone. I'd love to participate more with the community, but I've learned in my earlier years of getting burned on these things to steer clear of engaging with random players. Besides, I'm at an age where it is probably just better to play with close friends rather than trying to befriend a stranger on these games, because most people on sites like this are gonna likely be way younger than me, despite a fairly large adult following.
I was scammed back in 2022 when I was new to the game with the one at 11:01, because I was sort of new to scams and they just took my item. Either they got banned or quit or something, because they have not been online for MONTHS. I don't remember their user, so just try to avoid this scam.
I was taking offers for my gilder and someone offered 1000 saps and 3 alphas they said if I let them buy the gilder first they would trade me the Godly items! But they bought the lvl 5 gilder and left without giving me the items! Thank the Lord I was rec!
I used to play Roblox Royal High when I was a 9 year old kid and had a CZcams Channel Called Simply Cyan Videos, (which I still have), I was playing Roblox and hopped into Royal high that day, i got very upset and really was looking for something I wanted so bad, I was looking for diamonds, Cookie shoes, Leg Warmers, beach surf board, and halos, (maybe?) and a rich amount of diamonds, and I was at a very high level then everyone else at the trading hub and I would trade under and want to scam people by giving out saint patricks day trash items and a bad amount of diamonds, (which wasn’t a correct amount of diamonds and/or items based of the worth for the items) People would decline my trade because I would be under for the items, I was only a 9 year old kid playing Royal high, i quitted the game October 2022 before I turned 10 in November the 14th 2022, People took Avantage of how old I was when I was scamming, And that was all. next story! (this one is based off AJPW) A little while ago, someone in Coral Canyons was giving out a free rare pet (which was a lie) I got scammed out of 30 sapphires for a very very odd doodle cringe looking masterpiece, I had to get all my sapphires back, a few people were buying my pet items for 5 saphs, after I got my sapphires all back, I decided to give away a doodle odd masterpiece for free at the Play-As-Your-Pet Party. (The Animal Jam Story came a while ago, maybe a few weeks ago before the November 2023 update came). (The Animal Jam Story would either happen September or October 2023 before I brought the night of the phantoms bundle).
I have a scam that happened to me. So i was buds with a random jammer and they asked me if i wanted them to level up my pet i said ok bc i was new to animal jam and after a few mins i came to there den and i asked if i could have my pet back they said ok just buy from my shop so i can level it up i said ok but they said over again buy 1 more thing over and over again and then i said i dont have anymore sapphires can you just give me my pet back they said no if you want your pet back you have to buy and then i said again i dont have anymore sapphires then they said well then you dont get your pet back and they locked there den

Edit: in regards to flash trading! I knew this was a thing so when my screen protector on my phone broke, it made me click out of the trade a TON, like it took forever to complete a trade, i was so worried that they were thinking i was doing flash trading but i wasn’t! I got rid of my screen protector and now my phone works fine 😂

I do not understand why they are selling them for money because they are getting the money and also why would you want to buy items in aj for money? It is just a game. I was on Animal Jam and appetizing And a fox comes up to me trade me and you know how it pops up and it shows the items that Jammer wants well when I accepted the items weren’t there invisible I added an item and Took it Out to see IF that would fix things but nothing happened so I was going to get some stuffed animals for free since we’re couldn’t do the trade but in Chat jammer said except already! And declined and The thing popped up and showed my items again I checked them on a trade to make sure they were good and Well I don’t want to give too much information but I did get scammed I talk to my buddy about it and they said it could be a hacker 😢 please please tell me if this is new or old scam answer if you read and make a video on this please 😢
Theres one where people ask you to buy, let's say 3 items in their shop and they'll do 3 sap drops.
Make sure the items you buy are priced less than what you'll be getting back if they're just junk, they're some other methods to avoiding this, I'm too tired to think rn goodnight

i did buy gem item from someones shop- they gave me 100 sap worth item (in exp the prices are 100+) lucky lol and once- someone gave me crap for double skunk and said its worth 3k+ XD (i dint fall for it obv but i dont know worth and tend to rely on exp- can u make price worth vid..?)

buy one get one free typically isnt a scam from my experience. my friend literally got reported for scamming when they actually did gift extra items to people .... idk i get not wanting to take the risk but like dont report if they literally did nothing wrong

I was selling "Epic Spiked Collars" in My Shop a few weeks ago, all for 100 sapphires each which i thought was decent since the spiked collars i was selling i saw them being sold for 300-900 or could even go up to 2000 (which was uncommon) sapphires, so i was advertizing my shop and someone goes to my den, i get a buddy request so i accept since im in need of friends 😭 they sent me a few jags saying that everything was overpriced and that i was a scammer and other mean words, i was so confused so i went to reply and ask them what a fair price is but they unadded me before i had the chance, so does anyone know what the Epic Spiked Collars are worth? 😢 i dont wanna be a scammer, i wanna be a fair jammer :,)
