introducing obscure animals is a way for us to find out they exist which is pretty neat

Exactly, animal jam is still meant to be educational. As well as the fact many of the obscure animals are endangered, a fun way to bring awareness to endangered species that many people have never heard of instead of recognized protected species that everyone puts all their focus on!
@@LeamonPuppy And plus they stand out amongst the other animals.. which is something I imagine most people want to do.. and it has the added plus of giving them the chance to in terms of doing it in ways outside of outfitting or personal popularity!
And plus I am kindof a sucker for seldom-seen species ^^;

It’s a well designed animal I actually really like the golden pheasant! I guess it’s just a really random animal is more what I meant, and AJHQ used to just add basic animals like tiger, fox, bunny, penguin..
Golden pheasant is my main as well. Probably cuz of the way they walk. I dont know why i just love them :)
I prefer obscure animals cus those kinda animal tend to never get love, and that's not fair. My favourite animal ever is the Perentie but no one seems to know it :( so that's why I don't mind more obscure animals as people get to learn about awesome new animals
I fell you,i somehow wished from them to ad spiked devils and facts about them,plus the fact im also made an paiting of thorse lil critters(in the jam a gram day im made it)

I find it weird that they arrived in 2024. The game was released all the way back in 2015; they could've bought it into the game years ago. However, I'm still happy that they came.

Dragons are now added, and other then the Lemur(that looks like a monkey I forgot the name) is my main animal
Finally not a reskin animal.
I saw a few glitches when the ducks were flying: they just walk in the sky- they don't flap their wings. Well from what i saw at least lol 😅 really excited for the portal to come and the egg hunt coming back! Saving up for membership wih sapphires so i can do it 😄
Golden pheasants are the best but i gotta agree. They have sort of run out of animals to do. Id like to see geckos as playable characters personally. Imagine! They'd be so cool!

Tbh, for pets, it’s fine for reskins. Especially because I once collected 50 lizzies and then sold half of them once I realized how boring pets are...but yeah. DUCKS, Y’ALL!! 🦆 🧼 I’ve waited a million years for ducks!! And their style is adorable!! 😍 I’d rate the update a 9/10, because I don’t really love big dens... Also, is anyone else like: “THE MAP!! JAMAA TOWNSHIP IS FINALLY GREEN!!” 😂😅

About saphire animals, tiger was my first one, thanks to AJ for helping jammers with saphires by playing games. I was very excited to each animal/pet I bought, tho now I'm use to things that are new.

I love this update! I bought the duck bundle and I don't regret it! The ducks are so cute! Definitely my favourite thing about the update, I much prefer reskin pets over reskin animals! I love this update, the crystallis den is pretty cool aswell, and the lucky duckies are also pretty cute.

I didn't know the new den had a maze until leamonpuppy said it had a maze. To be honest I love mazes and I can't wait to get the den. This March update is like a swan lake themed update to me.
This update is actually way better then the January and February updates. I also liked how animal jam did a new animal instead of a reskin.
The maze was so tricky. Me and my friends got lost in there for 10 mins 😅
When they added the ducks, everyone was so exited.

i've been cosplaying Farfetch'd from Pokémon, complete with a leek. I'm also currently selling a bunch of pet lemonade hats in a shop for 300 gems each and have sent a suggestion to AJ to add grapes to the game.

Speaking of the maze part of the new den the exit is the lines of power from ajc which makes me believe that the portals will lead to adventures because in the concept art for crystallis the portals are opened and the portals have the lines of power in them. So I think later in the month (just like how crystallis was random) I think they will randomly add a way to open the portals or at-least, like the mira glyph thingy that opened the wishing well we will have to collect alpha items to open them

The ducks swim too. if you go into water, they swim, they dont walk funny like the other animals. duck is so great.
It would be cool if aj made all the pets as avatars for example gliders how cool would it be to have a glider avatar u can just glide around 😊 idk if u agree 💯 but i have been saying it to a few jammers and I hope it happens one day.

The animals I really wanna have are: coyote seal otter (normal not reskin) red panda Komodo dragon (so I can dress like my thousands of geckos) animals I DONT WANNA HAVE: stupid gem monkey I could go on and on abt how much I hate that monkey and I will I really think the monkeys are creepy the big eyes the stupid look I just hate them (no offense to any monkey lovers out there)
