Also if someone misunderstands the Bible, that doesn’t make them a heretic or mean they are going to hell. They can be wrong about something and still go to heaven if they understand the basics about Christ. How is that showing your neighbor love by talking down to them? That type of attitude is just going to push more people away from God. Calling folks names isn’t not of Christ and that’s not showing love.

No he doesn't need to be humble to someone who is spreading false. If you noticed when the gentleman is actually being honest and says he doesn't know, Sam calms down a bit and tries to be polite to him. However, when he tries to school Sam on what he thinks he knows, that's when Sam goes back to whooping his knowledge on him. Why should he speak when he implies Jesus is lying. When Jesus ressurected his body waa not left in his grave. When Jesus was going back to heaven after he promised to send the Holyspirit to his disciples, he did not transformed into spirit and rose up. The Bible also says there is only one Holy Spirit. If u say “person” that is a living being separate from another being. If there is one god, how can the father and the son both be the one god? The Bible says there is no god beside him. He is alone. It doesn’t say “they are alone”. Jesus takes on the name “I AM”. Isiah 9:6 calls the Son the everlasting father.

I love @shamounian but he does often get a little too salty. While some people do indeed "ask for it", Instead of calling another Christian a heretic, let's agree on the MAIN thing and that's Jesus Crucified for our sins and rose again. . This comment shows how people have been mislead as to how apologetics should be. When Jesus encountered those who were seeking to know the truth he dealt with them differently than those who claimed to know the truth but were liars. This guy is exactly like the second kind, he claimed to be a biblicist and refused to answer questions plainly when the scriptures were explaining themselves as plain as day to him. I have been around bible teachers and I myself am one but I must admit. I have never come across anyone yet that knows the bible the way Sam does. He is truly gifted and I pray that God continues to lead and guide him.

I am on Sam's side as far as his theology! But he has an anger issue! It's his thorn in his flesh! He has a true gift of memory, and recall, but his anger, impatience, and arrogance can be overwhelming a lot of times. It seems as if he prays for God to help him with these issues, then God puts him to the test, and he fails! He didn't let this man bury himself, because he didn't let him speak. I know Sam is right, but a new neutral Christian would just see a rude, overtalking, insulting mean dude forcing his points, and not giving the other guy a chance to speak. I would argue that HENDERS your witness, it doesn't help it! Again I love Sam's ministry, but he MUST overcome these flaws, and the more he fails these test, the more he'll have to keep taking them over and over! Why pray the prayer in the beginning for God to help you with it, if it goes out the window when someone challenges you? SMH!
It depends if the person is genuinely seeking the truth sam explains the gospel with compassion he even cries in prayer with them but everything changes if he’s talking to a false teacher with a hardened heart.Sam can discern it and will not tolerate on his platform..

I'm sorry brother, but we do need more of this "muscular Christianity" Sam Shamoun portrays, specially in this day and age where our faith is being spat on and ridiculed like never before because we took God for granted and were too lazy to even try to read a single page of the Bible. If a heretic is simply acting out of ignorance that's okay. You grab the scriptures and help a fellow human out and try to bring him to the truth patiently. But with false teachers and prophets who are outright blaspheming the Spirit, either you go all in or you'll get devoured, potentially leading to the damnation of you and many. We've been waaay too soft on heresies ever since the Inquisition was no more, now look at the disaster we have in our hands.

Yeah but you can't leave out the context of how the word is being used, as it had already been established Christ as Man being in Physical Form or With Physical Body and as with God The Father, in Spirit Form, being called man to shows he is a different and or Another Person besides The Son showing there is indeed 2 distinct Persons.

Its a trick question. Sam takes 2 verses out of a narrative, then asks a question that based ONLY on those 2 verses must be answered in a way that validates his interpretation. But if taken within the totality of the narrative its very important to not overlook verse 27 NKJV "They ( the pharisees v.13) did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father". Jesus and the Father are One. This narrative ( as many others) plainly shows they WERE NOT gonna accept ANYTHING He said. They ONLY wanted to in their flesh show that He lied because if He lied then He cant b the Messiah according to their law, so Jesus just showed that since they didnt believe the He and God were one then He used their point against them. Two witnesses 1)God 2)Jesus. This shows that He fulfilled the ENTIRE law because He IS THE MESSIAH. This whole narrative is about Jesus telling the truth about Himself, and that even with that in their faces they wont accept His words because they dont know Him or the Father v.19, didnt know where He came from or where He was going v.14. Well, you might notice ,if you keep watching Sam's material, that he may keep a more calm demeanor if he realizes that an individual is being honest with themselves and the text being brought forth. Jesus is the Father and son united together as one. A distinction can be made before the resurrection and glorification between the 2 nature.. Father and son. But after the glorification, no distinction can be made.. this glorified man is both. God did became a man, because who's hands and feet and body was that? It is the Father's.

The Son of God, made of a woman and made of flesh, is referred to as that holy thing. God dwelt within this fleshly body, but the flesh itself was not God; rather, the Spirit of God resided within that body, which caused the body to walk on water, heal, raise the dead, etc. That body which is the prince inherited the power of the spirit which is the king of kings. That body didnt raise himself from the dead but the spirit which is God.

The problem with oneness people is not in their oneness, because it is true. God is One. The problem is that they think that cancels out the tri part of the Trinity. They are both true. God is three Persons and One. He can do both. He is God. The HolySpirit created the universe. Jesus created the universe. The Father on His throne created the universe. 🤷♂️ The problems with trinitarians who deny the oneness doctrine is that they assume we can wrap our minds around the fact that God is Three and One. They don't understand that oneness doctrine validates the trinity in a very dynamic and Biblical way, providing deep insight into the unsearcheable and (praise the HolySpirit) knowable mystery of who God is. Just because we can't understand it doesn't mean we deny it. It is Biblical. I accept the trinity in faith, not sight. Jesus came in the flesh. Jesus is Lord.
God manifested in different ways is true but believing that He exists only in three persons is false. He was manifested as an angel to Abraham. He was manifested as Melchizedek, High Priest of God to Abraham. A person - per son - is an individual, having a unique spirit. If the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are three DISTINCT Per Sons then they have three unique and distinct spirits, which we all know is not true. God is a Spirit and we know that He is the same Holy Spirit. God Himself is THAT Spirit. Isa 9:6 calls Jesus as the Everlasting Father and a mighty God. The only way to explain away this verse is to call it a "false translation". There is only One Father and He is God and one Mighty God and He is God, Who is the Holy Spirit, manifested Himself in flesh. The trinitarians believe the flesh of Jesus was God but it is not. The flesh of Jesus was BORN and DIED. God cannot be born and God cannot die.

John 8:17-18 - with the same analogy of holding on to "two men", Sam needs to explain, is God man? The explanation to this is very simple. Why should he speak when he implies Jesus is lying. When Jesus ressurected his body waa not left in his grave. When Jesus was going back to heaven after he promised to send the Holyspirit to his disciples, he did not transformed into spirit and rose up. I am on Sam's side as far as his theology! But he has an anger issue! It's his thorn in his flesh! He has a true gift of memory, and recall, but his anger, impatience, and arrogance can be overwhelming a lot of times. It seems as if he prays for God to help him with these issues, then God puts him to the test, and he fails! He didn't let this man bury himself, because he didn't let him speak. I know Sam is right, but a new neutral Christian would just see a rude, overtalking, insulting mean dude forcing his points, and not giving the other guy a chance to speak. I would argue that HENDERS your witness, it doesn't help it! Again I love Sam's ministry, but he MUST overcome these flaws, and the more he fails these test, the more he'll have to keep taking them over and over! Why pray the prayer in the beginning for God to help you with it, if it goes out the window when someone challenges you? SMH!

I'm sorry brother, but we do need more of this "muscular Christianity" Sam Shamoun portrays, specially in this day and age where our faith is being spat on and ridiculed like never before because we took God for granted and were too lazy to even try to read a single page of the Bible. If a heretic is simply acting out of ignorance that's okay. You grab the scriptures and help a fellow human out and try to bring him to the truth patiently. But with false teachers and prophets who are outright blaspheming the Spirit, either you go all in or you'll get devoured, potentially leading to the damnation of you and many. Its a trick question. Sam takes 2 verses out of a narrative, then asks a question that based ONLY on those 2 verses must be answered in a way that validates his interpretation. But if taken within the totality of the narrative its very important to not overlook verse 27 NKJV "They ( the pharisees v.13) did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father". Jesus and the Father are One. This narrative ( as many others) plainly shows they WERE NOT gonna accept ANYTHING He said. They ONLY wanted to in their flesh show that He lied because if He lied then He cant b the Messiah according to their law, so Jesus just showed that since they didnt believe the He and God were one then He used their point against them. Two witnesses 1)God 2)Jesus. This shows that He fulfilled the ENTIRE law because He IS THE MESSIAH. This whole narrative is about Jesus telling the truth about Himself, and that even with that in their faces they wont accept His words because they dont know Him or the Father v.19, didnt know where He came from or where He was going v.14. God is neither flesh & blood nor three distinct persons. God is a Spirit, the Holy Spirit, and the Father of all creation, existing from everlasting to everlasting. The Son of God, made of a woman and made of flesh, is referred to as that holy thing. God dwelt within this fleshly body, but the flesh itself was not God; rather, the Spirit of God resided within that body, which caused the body to walk on water, heal, raise the dead, etc.
That body which is the prince inherited the power of the spirit which is the king of kings. That body didnt raise himself from the dead but the spirit which is God.
Jesus said He would send the Comforter to us (John 16:7), but He also said the Father would send the Comforter (John 14:26).
Jesus said, “The Father is in me, and I in him” (John 10:38).
Jesus promised to be the Father of all overcomers (Revelation 21:6-7).

At 12:21, Otis Lewis messed up. He said that Jesus "took of the flesh." This is not scriptural. The scripture didn't say that Jesus took off his flesh. Jesus still has flesh - He has a glorified body. All people in Christ will have glorified bodies. (1st Corinthians 15:53-55.)
And he has no relation with Gino Jennings at all...so this guy can try to debate pastor Gino Jennings, he will learn something

There is no personal interpretation of the bible, one needs to rely on our Lord's Apostolic Catholic Church.

The problem with oneness people is not in their oneness, because it is true. God is One. The problem is that they think that cancels out the tri part of the Trinity. They are both true. God is three Persons and One. He can do both. He is God. The HolySpirit created the universe. Jesus created the universe. The Father on His throne created the universe. 🤷♂️
The problems with trinitarians who deny the oneness doctrine is that they assume we can wrap our minds around the fact that God is Three and One. They don't understand that oneness doctrine validates the trinity in a very dynamic and Biblical way, providing deep insight into the unsearcheable and (praise the HolySpirit) knowable mystery of who God is. Just because we can't understand it doesn't mean we deny it. It is Biblical. I accept the trinity in faith, not sight. Jesus came in the flesh. Jesus is Lord.
God manifested in different ways is true but believing that He exists only in three persons is false. He was manifested as an angel to Abraham. He was manifested as Melchizedek, High Priest of God to Abraham.
A person - per son - is an individual, having a unique spirit. If the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are three DISTINCT Per Sons then they have three unique and distinct spirits, which we all know is not true. God is a Spirit and we know that He is the same Holy Spirit. God Himself is THAT Spirit.
Isa 9:6 calls Jesus as the Everlasting Father and a mighty God. The only way to explain away this verse is to call it a "false translation". There is only One Father and He is God and one Mighty God and He is God, Who is the Holy Spirit, manifested Himself in flesh. The trinitarians believe the flesh of Jesus was God but it is not. The flesh of Jesus was BORN and DIED. God cannot be born and God cannot die.

John 8:17-18 - with the same analogy of holding on to "two men", Sam needs to explain, is God man? The explanation to this is very simple. God became flesh and that is first man and at the same time, He lives in heaven because He is omnipresent, that is the second "man". This makes two "men", yet they are one. But Sam wouldn't let anyone explain this because he is proud and arrogant.

Jesus calls the Father and him two men. Sam is just sticking to the verse. He first clarifies it to be two persons, then sticks to the text.

He reads the verse where Jesus (in context of the old law) alludes to God the Father being a second witness (like another man under the old law) and then *gives his own interpretation that man=person* … “Stick to the verse!!” right?
The verse does not say that man=person but he wouldn’t allow Otis to explain why he believes what he believes and what different words “mean”.
Just because someone is a more skilled debater and imposes his will/way by force ie. “Answer me or I will hang up”, name calling etc. does not mean what they are saying is true.
As a “Christian”, Sam viewed objectively would be considered a jerk but people love him because he defends the belief held by the majority.

Jesus is the Father by the Spirit that gives him life.. Jesus is the son by humanity - flesh. The man Jesus lives by the Father who is the Holy Spirit.. that's how he's God.

Is there not a truth that has been revealed unto us , of existence of the inner man? Yes, it does exist Ephesians 3:16 so what is this the Spirit of God in the inner man. So if there is an inner man, it implies that there is an outter man also. And that the Spirit of God dwell within the inner man which dwell within the outter man. Again these three are ONE!

In all honesty the Modalist raised a good point in quoting St Nark 12 where Jesus says God spoke to Moses from the burning Bush. I think that shattered the argument Sam made. Plus I lift my hat to the brother for being patient and trying to co operate unlike Sam who wasn't showing the fruit of the Spirit in patience. Also the Scripture in Revelation 22 proves both the Deity and the humanity in Jesus Christ- Root of David as to his God offspring as to his Son.
