There would be mass flooding from sea level rise, severe weather changes, deadly chemical release, and mass greenhouse gasses that will leak into the atmosphere. Scientists say we need to stop this planet from rising in temperature, by just 1-degree Celcius, or this could happen sooner than we think.

If Earth warms by 2C alone, all the ice will melt, 2C warming is forecast by 2050 but do remember it takes time for all that ice to melt so probably at the current rate of melting plus the increasing rate of melting it will take at least 200-500 years witch in is a couple of minutes in geologic time.

In 2008, Al Gore said the polar ice caps will melt in 5 years. Which was supposed to be 2013.
If I had every penny for every climate change activist who said we only have 5-10 years left. I would invest that money in nuclear energy as a solution to generate the energy of the 21st century. Cheaper and much safer.
I do believe in climate change and I do think that the government should focus more on subsidizing nuclear industries and invest research for a safer, more efficient and cheaper way of nuclear reactors and power plants.
Government tax of climate change to poor Americans wouldn’t help.
