Karel Poborský the one and Only.. Benfica will always be grateful, Karel you are my hero bro. I do remember against Portugal in 1996 karel scoring that amazing Goal😊😊 what a Goal. Karel you are and will always be missed in Lisbon. Benfica
I miss players nowadays which are "real" and have a unique character. 90ies and 00" were different gravy
Poborsky used speed, technic and BRAIN...he was really amazing.. My TOP Czech players after ww2..are 1. Rosicky 2. Poborsky 3. Panenka
Nedved becomes a legend, years after this.
Italy is always blessed with fantastic and resilient goalkeepers right from the day of dino zoff till today. But I have not seen an Italian player that is stronger and durable than Paulo maldini, very constant, calculative and consistent.
The Italian team needed Roberto Baggio to produce goals
Shocked they left him out of the euro 96 squad
Del pierro,di Livio,conte,toriceli,ferata,pesotto missing all
I remember this match , when Sacchi changed most of the starting 11 who won their 1st game against Russia. He was clearly overconfident and underestimating czech rep at that time
🎯🎯🎯
Coming here for this video, for some examples of tactical mistakes. I was a young naive teenager and the supporter of Gli Azzurri when this game happened, and got a hard time to handle the defeat. Didn't really know who were to be blamed, due to the lack of tactical knowledges at that time.
And I agree with you... Overconfident and underestimating the opponent is the recipe for disasterous defeat.
A shock result. I remember Casiraghi's miss at the end.
Italy would have made it to the second round without the hard headedness of Sacchi who left Baggio outside the squad list. Casiraghi missed the unmissable that day.
I'm Italian but Poborski was a fuckin' Rockstar!
Maybe not a rock star, but football star definitely, one of the best in the world in his era
Poborsky sitting Maldini down twice was hilarious. 😂
Casiraghi was made an honorable Czech citizen after that game 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He deserved More than the accolades he got from football. But in football, the highest honours has always been given to attacker Or occasionally some midfielders.maldini was a great defender
ما احلي تلك الايام حتي حفيض الدراجي قال مفاجاة تشيكيا تفوز علي ايطاليا
Turned out to be the toughest group. And Germany just cruised through it.
Italy had Sacchi as chief trainer that has been one of the most overrated manager, that wanted to show that with his defensive tactics he was more important than the players
Kenangan ceko tumbangkan Italia, 96
Who was better in DMF ? Bejbl or Nemec ?
I took my newly married wife to this game. We lived in St.Helens
Casiraghi🤦
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Dendam bapaknya dibayar lunas oleh anaknya untuk menjadi juara Eropa 2020....Enrico and Federico Chiesa
Dan badi Itali ketika kejohanan besar di tanah England terhapus dengan gol dari Frederico Chiesa...
Chiesa ravanelli hahahah
Italia shit starting XI
they start with this is 1996?
they have got much more better players!
The only player in Italy's starting 11 without UCL trophy or without World Cup final at that moment was Chiesa, and he was amazing player.
Poetic that Federico Chiesa’s Dad Enrico Chiesa scores at Anfield, Federico’s next destination maybe
One of the weakest Italian teams i've ever seen!
