If you are having trouble with Humic solid particles, add a little potassium hydroxide to the solution and all that solid will go back into solution. Humic acid needs to be at a pH at or above 8.0 approximately. Otherwise it precipitates out of solution if the pH is too low. Also works to help clean out the sprayer. Tablespoon or so per gallon. Buy it cheap on Amazon.

I've had the Strom since Feb, maybe early March. No problems whatsoever. I"ve seen on the Facebook forum some have had some challenges, but I suspect cleaning habits aren't as good, or like others have mentioned, the elbow for the sump siphon has turned sideways on them. Solid sprayer. Anyone who is thinking about getting one won't be disappointed.

so I got this sprayer and nozzle assembly back around Christmas. A couple things I found with this setup that I will share.
    1. I noticed that the sprayer was leaving about 1/2 gallon in the tank and wouldn't siphon it up. After fighting with it, adding more water to get the product sprayed, I noticed the siphon tube had turned on me almost sideways. Check and make sure the siphon tube stays down or you might end up with the same issue.
    2. my sprayer nozzle had actually broke on me after a couple uses. the elbow broke on me. I just got some metal fittings from Lowe's to replicate the plastic ones, problem solved and it's a little sturdier.
    3. I use the 20* fan tip that comes with the sprayer for spot spraying weeds as the sprayer nozzle sprays a pretty wide pattern. works pretty well.
I'm really happy with the setup, especially considering I came from using a 2 gallon hand can on my 15k yard. It's never leaked on me or clogged up when spraying rgs/air8. it's sprayed ferrous ammonium sulfate and citric acid fine as well.

@@worldcomingdown6713 no issues. I did try to create a boom sprayer to make things a little faster. However, the nozzles I got are both .5gal/1min which means I would need to pump 1gal/min. Pete, I recently purchased your academy program. I am looking to purchase this sprayer kit from you but I do have a question. My total lawn is 38k sq ft. When conducting an application, should I split the yard into 10k sq ft. Sections and mix product accordingly? I'm a little confused on how to guage distribution rate of liquid chemicals. What I mean is, if I were to mix all I needed for the whole property in 1 go, will it even fit? Or will I be running to ensure I cover my entire lawn, yet get adequate coverage. I see your directions say to add "x" water then the required amount of chemical, but I guess I'm just afraid ill either 1, apply too much in too small an area, and 2, will not move fast enough to spray everything. I've followed your channel for some time and love the content. Praise the lord and keep up the good work.
