- We did some hiking up to Mashel Falls just outside of Eatonville Washington to do some exploring. I'm proud to say that my little girl overcame her fears and she made it behind the waterfall. What a cool hike and a neat adventure for the family!

Yeah, it was a blast, Steve. We really want to do more and more of these trips while the girls are young. Shellie and I loved this hike so much that we are talking about trying to hit all the waterfalls we can in the Pacific Northwest and maybe film our trips if people are interested in seeing them.

Hello Mike and family. Great to venture out and enjoy such a beautiful place. We have many waterfalls where I am in Hamilton Ontario, Canada. My wife, my stepson who’s 8 and I like to get out when we can to see a few. Im sitting here waiting for ya to cut some clippings but I know it’s early haha cheers Mike.
We've been having a lot of fun while the girls are on spring break. I actually have several plant videos cooking in the background right now!
I’m just about to finish up my small scale hoop house, wife thinks I’m crazy but she will like it once the plants start growing haha Can’t wait to see the videos.
i have to spend more time in the wood myself mike. no waterfalls here. there is a new tick import that is on the east coast, so ones gotta be careful after going in there. that waterfalls will be great in the heat of the summer. i did see the yellow tips of forsythia waking up--still looks bare on the mountain. carmine.
Connecting with nature is about the most invigorating thing you can do.

They sure look like twins but they're actually 18 months apart! About the most interesting plants we saw were some easter lilys. They grow everywhere around here but are always a welcome sight.

Mom came down to the waterfall because she didn't want to be alone for the mountain lion to eat. And this area is almost as pretty as Merrionette Park.
I'd love to make it back there someday and see where you guys all grew up. I'd stop off in Ohio too and see my Dad's old stomping grounds.
How many miles was this?
It was a 10 mile round trip hike.
This has to be the middle falls or upper falls because the lower falls were way calmer
I honestly don’t remember now but we went there in the early spring when the rivers were flowing hard.
