Man, I wish I had six other people like that who know what the hell they're doing to help me on projects like this.
Finding 6 ppl to help is hard enough lol
Right👏🏾👏🏾
Do it yourself lol I can't find and I just do it by my own.
I’m building a 20 x 15 patio all by myself. :) lots of sweating. I’ve lost 15 pounds so far - that tamper is a great ab workout!! Lol
Watch CZcams videos and learn - you can do it.
@@fernandogarza4231 is it easy to do it by your self??
You’re such a hard worker. And I love that you’re a Oregonian like me. God bless! 🇺🇸
Fantastic work and the patio turned out amazing. I dig the look of the pavers and I really like the texture. Congratulations
What's so nice about this video is you don't hear all the bickering that is inevitable on such a project... 🤣
Divorce attorneys scan these videos for potential clients.
I detect no lies here...
So nice. If only things got finished that quickly.
A great way to build your fire pit! I bought one and put it out in our lawn. The edges have rusted so the paint wore off. Not too concerned about it but rust may take it from me as the years pass!
I used to think you were kind of spoiled..... you're a really hard worker!!!! Awesome to watch you do most of this. I really figured you guys had a crew doing most of this stuff
Hi Laura, I see you plan to do a question and answer video. Can you go over terrarium ideas and how to care for an open container terrarium. I have watched a couple videos, but I remember you had one or two that you have. And plants you’d suggest that would do well.
You make it look so easy!!
Love it!!! Looks beautiful.
Love the end result! But how long did it really take, lol !
I’m a little surprised at your use of black pots in full sun in your area. I avoid them in Florida unless they’re going in deep shade. Anything to keep the roots of my plants as cool as possible.
Question: How often did they use it and are the bricks still holding up now, a year later, with no fire brick?
That grass remover machine looks so useful
Rhys Green it’s called a sod cutter if you were wondering
Sod cutter you mean
Very good but ..I'd make it much bigger. If you're gonna go to the trouble you might as well make it a good size. Also if your in the north you got to go much deeper with the gravel and crushed stone to prevent ice damage. They did about a foot of gravel and a foot of crushed stone for my patio in the Catskills . It's held up great for about ten years now
What is ice damage and how exactly gravel protects against it?
@@RPDBY I don't know the science. The builder told me you have to do this to prevent ice and cold from moving
the pavers around
Woo so excited for this new channel ❤️❤️❤️😀
What a Beautiful transformation!❤️❤️
I love it! Well done! 💕♥️
Great great editing!!!!!!! Well done 👍
Hi I love this video and you have inspired me to do something similar. I was just curious, what was the square footage of the patio you built?
That’s Amazing!!!!! I love the fire pit idea - what did you use to glue them together & does it withstand the heat from the fire?
Great work. I plan on doing this project this summer 🤞🏾
Trevor C this isn’t how u do u do thing it’s gonna fall apart that’s why it’s better to get someone who really knows
Most if not all machines can be rented so I’m not sure why some people are assuming you have to buy them? What I find amazing is they did it themselves. Laura actually laid the pavers by herself and don’t know the weather but the sun was beating down on her the whole time. Something no matter how young I could have been is something I never could have done. Thats hard work.
Well Planned . . . Well Executed . . . Well Done, In All That Was Purchased, It Looks FANTASTIC !!!
Very nice job, except that fire pit, I would prefer it round ( less chance of ramming shins on~) and cemented instead of glued and with air flow holes to make it easy to make the fire and sustain it.
This is exactly what I needed thank u
Drive by this lovely home often! Stunning!
The product data sheet for that adhesive indicates a maximum service temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't expect those pavers to stay together after very many fires.
Charles Hanson I don’t know shit about any of this, and even I’m like “wait, that doesn’t seem right...”
We did this at my brother's house and It's been over a year now since we put it in. They've had a bunch of fires and he says you can see the adhesive is separating a little bit but that the firepit is still rock solid. So far so good!
Garden Answer ive had people choose to mudset instead adhesive. But it lasts. That guy doesnt know anything about installing firepits
no worries, fire wont burn in the pi well, no air will flow from the bottom, bad design
They should of remove the pavers under fire pit and put down steel band to avoid other pavers stones from cracking.
So nice! Love it!
Beautiful!
Wow!!! Impressive!!! Great job!!!
This is really nice. You gave me some good ideas for my home.
...it looks awesome...you guys did a fantastic job...
Did you level the gravel base? Wouldn't the screeding pipe need to be level in order to get level sand bed?
Nice project! What is the measurement of this paver patio? I am looking to do something very similar!
Looks great. I’m like...that place looks a lot like home. I was pretty close over here is Boise. Great video
What is below the fire pit, or is the wood simply burning on top of the pavers?
Hello, I have a questio, if the rains starts in the middle of the project, that can damage it?
This is great... I love the setup! Job well done!
Loved it.
Great Job 👏🏼
Question: Do you need a permit to redo concrete pavers?
How many pallets did you have to buy for the pavers?
Looks great. Love it. We are in process of building a patio. What size is this patio
The adhesive you used on fireplace is it fire proof?
would love to know how many inches of gravel and sand you used? thank you!
Those stones don’t explode when when saturated with moisture when a fire is burning?
What size patio is this ?
How many pallets of pave stone did you use ?
Thanks in advance.
Wow this looks amazing. Thanks for sharing such amazing ideas.
I have one additional qs. How do u protect the furniture from Sun & rain?
This Patio Set Is Likely Made Of A ' Synthetic Resin Wicker ' ( Nylon, Polyethylene, PVC ) . . . Along With ' Outdoor Cushion/Fabric Materials ' . . . As With Nearly All Outdoor Sets, You Can Purchase A Cover For Each Piece. Shelter From Snow/Ice Where Applicable.
Good job!! BUT what happens when it rains?
What are the white floral trees you used. There pretty.
Uuuuuffff. Super Dope!!!! 🤩🤩
Very nice. Great job. How much was spent. And how big was it?
What machine did u use for the initial digging
I wish I had a handy husband like you are, Laura!!!! 😂😂😂
Now when will you start building the pergola?🤔
so what happened the first time you had a fire in that and all the adhesive melted in the blocks fell apart
How long did that take thinking about doing it
hello, What is the material of the stones used?
No cover or pergola?
Is that polymer sand?
How did it hold up?
How do you not have a million subs
Nice work, what an awesome space
That’s the beauty of the sod cutter you can also use it to break up couple inches of dirt to remove easily . I bought one with tax almost 8 grand but worth it
Can you rent the sod cutter?
@@adriankap2978 yup. Make sure you rent the contractor one it’s going to be a 350-450lbs machine. In Canada it’s like $120 for the day rental . Don’t rent the small one it’s not as good
@@b-rare You’re amazing! Thank you so much for your valuable information. I will definitely do that.
Very nice!
How much area did this cover please as thats the perfect size area i want my oatio so need to order indiqn sandstone thanks
Good job. Nice work
Wow beautiful.
What’s the final total cost, with planters, plants, flowers, and furniture?
Just nice and clean work
It took quite a bit of work? You did it in 2 and half minutes!
Rain > furniture
Fire > stone glue
What is the dimensions of the patio? Looks great!!
You amaze me, Laura! You’re right in there doing your share with the guys. Where do you get your energy?😄
Lots of coffee
Simple and excellent
How many sq feet is this and how much would something like this cost. I understand it varies among states, it I’m just curious. Thank you.
I don’t know that the glue is going to hold up over time in the fire pit but if it does awesome.
Loved this ❤
She can do it all! Good job ☺︎
Anyone know how big that patio is about?
If you are using the pvc pipe as a spacer to get the desired height of paver sand. How do you know the crushed gravel base is level? If the crushed gravel base is not level then using the pvc pipe will just make the paver sand unlevel but an inch higher.
Is it 12 x 12?
Made it look easy. No weed barrier though ?
Wow! Loved it. It looks amazing, very well done. The plants looked really nice. Wish you had more time to talk about them & why you chose those plants. But it turned out beautiful.
Hello. There is a link to the full version of this video in the description. There might be more about the plants in that video?
What are the patio measurements?
What’s the square footage of the patio?
I like the size of this patio. What are the dimensions?
What is the size of the base? Length and breadth
Great Patio. What are the dimensions?
That fire pit gonna smoke like hell!
What is the name of the machine that cut your grass out?
What is the size of this patio?
Im doing the exact same thing right now
What size area is that?
You need to blow that excess joint sand compound then lightlt water it to set the material.
I think they went the cheap route and just used joint sand and not polysand
Beautiful
What would happen if it rains?
What is that next to your little red tree looks like aptos blue red wood or some Leyland Cypress I like the look but mine are ugly
It’s nice to have a flat piece of property.
How much did all of it cost??
I can't believe you did most of this.
How big is that slab
