Looks like a true GT It has the correct badges on the side of the vinyl top. I've had two 68 Fairlanes and one 68 Torino GT. First year with 302 engine, mine had the 302 block with the 289 heads straight from the factory. I would keep checking to see if he can find it.
It was a real shame. A buddy of mine currently owns the Indy Ram. He’s currently trying to get all of that bedliner off, and recently installed some longtube headers on it.
@@CarGuyV8 yes you can Texas has bonded titles it’s not that hard to do it might cost you less than 200.00 to get one do your research on bonded titles in Texas good luck
The 70-71s are my favorites. Sounds like you had a good one. There’s a ‘69 Torino Fastback in my area for sale too. Rougher shape than this ‘68 was in, but it has a 351 Cleveland in it. Tempting car.

It’s definitely a good car. It’s windshield vin and vin plate both indicated 8K44F, which is a true 1968 2dr hardtop Torino GT with a 302 2v.

Me too. That car has an odd engine swap. It has a Mopar 440 swapped into it.

check with Uncle Tony's Garage on his channel he has a video on how to title a no title car through a state (I think it's Vermont)

It’s either a 68 or 69. It’s got a 421 small block in it with a blown up th350. He wasn’t willing to part with it.
