    More About This Video:
“To commemorate the 30th anniversary of our Megadeth album 'Rust in Peace' and to celebrate my long-lasting relationship with Jackson, we decided to feature 4-string companion to the 5-string we released earlier this year,” explained Ellefson. “This bass truly represents the origin story of my relationship with Jackson guitars, tracing back to the late 1980s when the company built me my very first Quicksilver Concert Bass, just like this one!" said Ellefson.
    About Jackson:
Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

I love Jackson guitars. I love Revocation. I love this guitar design. But unfortunately, its just an impractical cost point. I know, i know, i know. "but its limited eiditon." Thats all well and good... I would love to see a solid color (black, green, red) version of these coming out with similar specs in a more realistic price point. Locking tuners, luminlay side dots, SS frets... these features aren't expensive and many other builders are including them at no added cost.

I honestly am starting to lean towards the idea of not releasing signature guitars to the public and make maybe 3 guitars for the artists, no one buys sig models no one wants someone elses name on their guitar. Then once the Artist gives up a signature guitar it will be worth all the money because there would be a very few made. Would give it more exclusive value. I don't know thats just my thoughts. anyway LOVE YOU DAVE YOU'RE FOREVER INSPIRING TO ME

Are you really being an ass about one of the very few dudes worthy of playing a 7 string guitar? I know where ur coming from, i honestly dont really like extended range guitars and most people that use them arent even good players. They just drop tune real low and chug thinking theyre "heavy". He doesnt even drop tune it. He plays that thing better than most people play 6 strings. And no he doesnt even djent lol he barely uses the b string judging from the few songs ive learned how to play by them. And when he does, its done very tastefully. Ill never understand why people are so against having a little more creative freedom. Everythings been done already, let people explore and expand. And if your comment was sarcasm, then just ignore me and im sorry lol
