Here is Hanbitella (= Hanbit + Nutella)!!
Who doesn’t like Nutella? Let’s make some proper homemade Nutella - my recipe is special because it uses hazelnut praliné. Using hazelnut praliné gives a much deeper & nuttier flavour plus a note of caramel so it really elevates the quality of your Nutella to another level.
Also this Nutella has ZERO ADDITIVES unlike the store bought nutella. So it's definitely healthier - although I admit this is still high on calories haha!
▶Homemade Nutella◀
Quantity: 4 x 100ml bottles
Hazelnut Praliné 240g (Hazelnuts 160g, Sugar 96g, Water 30g - this should roughly give 240g of hazelnut praliné but re-weigh it to make sure)
Dark Couverture chocolate (Callebaut 811) 140g
Grapeseed Oil 5g (Any odourless oil works. You can also leave out oil completely)
Cocoa powder 12g
⊙Hazelnut Praliné⊙
① Add water & sugar into a saucepan and raise temp to 115℃ to make sugar syrup.
② Add in the hazlenuts and take it off the heat.
③ Keep stirring until the sugar syrup crystallises completely.
④ Turn the heat back on and keep stirring until the caramel fully coats the hazelnuts and the temp reaches 180℃.
⑤ Transfer it to a mat and let it cool completely.
⑥ Blend it in a food processor until it becomes a paste.
⑦ You can use hazelnut praline for many other recipes in pastry and not only for Nutella. Store hazelnut praline in the fridge for up to 4 weeks (theoretically 6 months but aroma will disappear)
⑧ For a full detailed hazelnut praliné recipe, pls take a look at the following link: • Full complete recipe o...
Food Processor: Hanil (amzn.to/2XNxWYg)
⊙Nutella⊙
① Add hazelnut praliné, melted dark couverture chocolate (40~50℃), oil, cocoa powder and blend until smooth.
② Transfer it to a bottle and you’re done!
Storage: Keep it in the fridge up to 2 weeks. (to be honest it lasts up to a month)

★ABOUT ME★
Hi! I’m Hanbit, professional pastry chef and CEO of Sugar Lane Baking Academy based in Seoul, Korea. Funny enough, my background had nothing to do with baking - far from it. I studied mathematics at university and then worked in finance, strategy consulting and IT. Then one day in 2018, I quit my job and enrolled at a pastry school. I have loved it ever since!
As my story suggests, I really enjoy being a pastry chef and I am keen to share the joy of baking with as many people as possible. Baking can seem daunting at first but as long as you take it step-by-step anyone can do it - even someone with no baking background like myself managed to become a professional pastry chef!
I'll try my best to include detailed explanations and tips in my recipes so that you will be able to bake amazing desserts. I aim to create videos that can be enjoyed by people at all levels - those who bake for fun as well as those who want to get more serious.

Finally a chef scraping the sides of a food processor! as if it magically happens to everyone else
lol
Yeah! It annoys me when I see CZcamsrs or chefs wasting
I have tried some recipes that were tasty, but did not actually have the same flavor as the store-bought Nutella. This one has it! It is the best recipe ever.
nice
I have tried several recipes of homemade Nutella and it never turns out good compared to the real one. Until I found your video! It is by far the best recipe out there! Thank you so much for sharing! You've got yourself a new subscriber :)
I'm so glad!
I enjoy your vids, they are so professional and you have a really engaging personality. Never was a huge fan of Nutella, but now I have to go make it!
Yay, thank you!
Amazing! Most chefs will scorn those who change/adjust their original recipe ("𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘦 -𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘵𝘴, 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥!"), but chef Hanbit actually *encourages* us to adjust his recipe to our liking! 👏👏👏
Thanks a lot 😊
Omg, I would eat that with a spoon, I am not even sure the lid would get a chance to go back on the jar😍😍😍
lol
Just discovered this channel and I must say, easily the best cooking vids out on YT. Thanks chef for sharing the recipe! Can't wait to try it out.

ok nice!
I have been waiting for this !!!
Thank you👍
I'm looking forward to see what you going to learn use Mr Cho.

Hi
I made it today! It was so good! Thank you Chef Hanbit!
Glad you liked it!!
@@HanbitCho Chef i really love croissant 🥐, can you show us how you make it?
i have used this receipe for 2021 x-mas present for friends & family! was a great success, unique personal present and loved by everyone! thank you so much!
Wonderful!
Thanx, Chef! I loooooove hazelnut praline, for me it's literally THE BEST THING EVER... Anything with it, you know it's gonna be good. And this Nutella is waaaay better than store-bought. And a funny story, if you are going to use a blender, just make sure it's "tough enough" to hadle the praline. I broke mine when I made Nutella, but it was so worth it and it was an excuse to get a more powerful one and a food processor, too. 😂
great you liked it! yeah you need a decent blender!
Wow!
INCREDIBLE ONE !
this is amazing, thank you so much 🙏🏻😍
You're welcome 😊
Oh wow....it looks so good and far superior to the store bought ones, as there are no additives. Another great recipe and video to enjoy! Thank you Hanbit. :-)
Hope you enjoy
There aren't additives into Nutella. Good video but I don't get the point. Home made one is expensive and time consuming. It's very easy to buy an inexpensive and delicious one near home!
@@MyNotSoHumbleOpinion If you notice, I specifically did not refer to Nutella by name, only “ store bought ones”, of which there are numerous and some which contain Maltitol, an artificial sweetener, but thank you for your contribution.
@jeffrey bankers yes that’s true, but some people are sensitive to it, particularly digestive problems.
Thanks for your input though, much appreciated.
bankers funny every cell in your body needs sugar u confused
I tried this recipe yesterday. I made 1-2 additions. The result is very delicious. Thank you so much. 🤗

Very nice and detailed (but not boring) video..!😊👍👌
Thank you very much!
Ill definitely try this. By far the best ive seen ❤😊
thanks!
I was just wondering if I should make homemade nutella some time soon and this video came just in time! It's going to be so fun, because I picked them myself from a hazel tree a few weeks ago, so it's going to also be home grown :)
great!
Fabulous and no palm oil, thank you so much
My pleasure 😊
so glad to see that you've been getting more views for your videos again and more subscribers! If I wanted it to be less sweet, how much sugar and chocolate can I reduce before the consistency becomes different and/or the recipe needs to changed as a whole?
oh the problem with this is the the hazelnut praline has a set sweetness from the very start so I've realised that there's not much you can do to alter the overall sweetness!! Unless you change the sweet of the hazelnut praline from the onset!
Great stuff! When you said, look it turns into paste, by then it had turned from paste into syrup. I think you meant to say syrup but were excited :) As a kid growing up the hazelnut part was my favorite. I haven't eaten Nutella for god knows how long now due to the additives, preservative etc
lol yeah!
Yaaaay cant wait to try it!! Thank you
You are so welcome!
Thanks to you Chef, first time to see this recipe. I'm sure I will try it.
Hope you enjoy
I recently subscribed in your channel. Thanks for sharing all the techniques and recipes. Nutella looks delicious 👍🏻

It probably tastes sooo good. Thank you!

Fabulous easy to follow video. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you! That just looks delicious, even your reaction tell me even you were shocked lol. Lvoe it when you cook something and it taste a lot better than you expect. Been a good year for hazelnuts and got a bunch of them out around here, that will be ready to be processed, will use your recipe. I love the idea of caramelizing them because of the added taste; it looks like actual caramel.
haha thanks!
Thanks for sharing.can’t wait to try it myself.
Hope you enjoy it!
Hanbit! You're the reason I want to come to Korea so that you can teach me physically!!! You're really awesome!

Great recipe! Also I love nutella 😻
yay!
I finally made it after wanting to make it for so long and it turned out amazing ! It's not even as difficult as I thought, I will be doing it again, thanks chef !
cool.
Wow, I never knew it was so easy to make Nutella at home until now. Amazing recipe!
Chef Hanbit, what kind of cocoa powder do you use in this recipe? The unsweetened cocoa powder or the sweet one? 😍🙏🙏
oh unsweetened!
Love love love all your videos Chef Hanbit! I’ve just roasted some hazelnuts, plan to follow your previous praline recipe using dry caramel method. Can I also follow temperature of 180C to indicate caramel(and nuts) are ready to be taken off the heat?
oh i mean i did mention temperature but it's really rough guidance. best is to look at the colour!!
Who can dislike this! This is amazing!
thanks!
My favourite! Thanks!😉
Thank you too!
New subscriber here! I loved this video and the way you explain everything!
Thanks for subbing!
