- We are back looking at the A-Z of ps2 hidden gems, and this here, is the letter G.
I’m saying this a lot, but I really didn’t think I would have as much trouble as I am whittling these lists down to 10. There’s so many great games it turns out. I’ve left out some that I love, like Gregory Horror Show, Mainly because I’ve seen it in a few similar videos and I do try to show games that you don’t tend to see.
Even without those games, I think we have a decent selection here of games that you don’t often hear about, so how about I shut up, you press that subscribe button, and we take a look at some games.

In Garouden there are some pretty broken characters like Yujiro Hanma 😂
God Hand was one of my favourite PS2 games as a kid and, possibly due to its high price, it is a hidden gem.
The Godzilla series is another group of hidden gems that I would recommend.

Definitely plenty to keep you busy. Start with Gitaroo man. It’s awesome 🤩
I have gungrave and ghost rider but never heard of any of the other games in the video. Ghost hunter and the Giants game are added to my list to get for my collection. Thanks Bros for another banger
Ghost Rider looks so much like God of War/ Devil May Cry, how the Circle button looks on top of the enemies looks soooo much the same. Not that i have something against it, its just hilarious how much they copied.
Yeah. It is definitely a kid friendly version of those games.
Another thing worth mentioning about Ghost Rider is that you can unlock Blade as a playable character, Which helps add some replayability.
Oh nice. I didn’t realise that. Will have to finish it off. I think I only have about half an hour left.
I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but one of the demo discs sent out by Sony to people who’d registered purchasing a PlayStation 2 contained a one level (“Flying-O”) demo of _Gitaroo Man_ ; what’s notable about that demo is that it features a noticeably different (and, in my opinion, superior) song to that in the full game :)
I did not know that! I might have to see if I can find it anywhere online to play.

A number of great games starting with G here! Forgot about Gungrave, as I only briefly played it back in the day. There's a new one on the PS4. Gets mediocre reviews, but looks like a fun action game still.
Genji: Dawn of the Samurai is a very good hidden gem on the ps2.

Ha ha I do actually have that game. But I see it in a few of these videos. I try to avoid ones I’ve seen elsewhere (I’m a total hipster you see 😅)
so totally hidden gems, i getcha. Yeah God Hand isnt popular in the grand scheme of things, but as far as hidden classics go its one of the more popular ones. definitely my favorite capcom beat em up. ah well, cheers then.

Why limit yourself to 10 games? Make some letters' episodes multi-part uploads if necessary. I dont think anyone would object to you covering more than 10 games.
It’s mainly down to time. But don’t worry as there’s so many, I will likely be doing some honourable mentions at the end of the series with a random selection of other games.
