q is a magazine show that’s unpredictable in the best sense - proud to be “a wild mix of culture by way of Canada” as described by the New York Times. The Globe & Mail noted the show’s “raging popularity across a variety of platforms -- podcasts, television, websites, satellite radio, terrestrial radio, and occasional live remote broadcasts."

Absolutely fantastic interview, with great eloquence on both sides of the table. I can feel that I'm about to tumble down a rabbit hole of videos and articles and seminars on social justice...

Kudos to Shad for leading Mr. Ronson through a fascinating conversation. It's obvious that Shad is without ego and has a genuine interest in bringing the best out of his subject. I appreciate how Shad kept the conversation moving with quick comments that added to our understanding and introduced new topics. Much better than pontificating at length about what was just said and then asking a leading question. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic interview, intelligent, sharp and well informed. I thought the book itself was a combination of witty comment and terrifying stories. We are all guilty of pressing send when perhaps we should delete. This was a great interview allowing Jon Ronson to freely express his opinions. I agree with him about the misogyny online. In his book two tech guys at a conference made a lewd joke, overheard by a woman who tweeted what they'd said. They lost their jobs, but have found work in the same sector, the woman tweeter lost her job too over this, was threatened with rape and murder and at the point of publishing the book was still out of work. Ouch !

We become bland out fear of being branded. You don't get the joke, you get to shoot the messenger. Sad truth.
    Great Interview.
Jon Ronsons books are totally engaging, inspires research, colourful conversations and outbursts of "Exactly!"

I was taught to never put anything down in writing, or do something in front of a camera that you wouldn't want plastered on the front page of the newspaper. It's just common sense.

It's not at all surprising that this tactic doesn't work with the wealthiest 1% who can literally get away with murder without a second thought. You can target the lower minions but that's about the upper limit.
