i don't understand why people don't call the "30 goal season" for what it is, overrated. 13 of 30 goals were scored in 2nd tier comps: efl and europa. he was 6th highest in the league for goals and a lot further behind on total contributions

People accusing players of laziness in not chasing back need to think what may be going on in their heads. One theory, because i dont really know, is that forwards may think that chasing back detracts from their main job of scoring goals. If they are chasing back that is going to tire them out which will affect them when they are trying to score a goal. He's had his share of injuries as well and he may be trying to protect his body by not chasing back.
So at 300k a week running is too much 😅
Rashford never tracks back does zero defensive work. Players dribble past him for fun. And offensively very rarely makes right pass or provide assist. Been 9 years can't give any more free chances to flop players.
Psg are trying to go the youth project route rather than buying star players from other teams so im not sure theyll be in for him anymore

Rashford has played consistently since 18 and he is a pacey winger, these players fall off at 28/29, we've seen it a lot before with Sterling, Walcott, Alexis, Hazard etc all explosive all played the highest level from a young age and nothing in his game make it look like he can adapt to play without that explosive pace. Getting him at a possible peak for two more years is a huge risk, he's going to want a five year deal and at those wages or anywhere near those wages, it will be easier to get a player elsewhere, who is younger, cheaper and more adaptive. Plus in the case of Arsenal is it worth hindering the progress of Martinelli or taking minutes from Trossard.

Rashford is good. Lazy (in the context of football), but good. He'd be a great signing for anyone, but no, he's not disciplined and he'll need a friend and fam so he can feel comfortable because he's easily swayed by his emotions and not humble enough to accept when he's also part of the problem.
Why is this myth still perpetuated that Rashfords "ceiling is high"? It isn't. It baffles me that people think he's potentially a world class player just not in the right mind. His technique is nowhere near that level, he can't dribble, his passing is worse than brunos. He's an incredibly average player. Players that could have been world class are those inconsistent talents like Quaresma, Recoba etc. Rashford just doesn't have the fundamental abilities to even be considered a lost talent. He's just an average player solely reliant on pace, underperforming. The comparison with Callum Wilson is a good one, because it's baffling that anybody could consider Rashford to be in a higher category to players like Wilson, Welbeck etc. That's all he is and is all he ever will be. Anybody thinking psg would want a lemon like Rashford needs their head checking

If your team is under pressure and needs players to be good off the ball then he is not your man. PSG is perfect for him as they dominate all games in Ligue 1 and he can get pissed up in Paris nighclubs and still probably score 15 goals.
