- ► Join me on a walking tour through Talad Noi - an ethnic Chinese community on the edge of Bangkok’s Chinatown, on the bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is well known for a strong community feeling, old buildings (let's just be nice, and say buildings with A LOT of patina), and alleyways bursting with street art and second-hand shops. Recently many cool hidden cafes have popped up, and it has become very popular area with the young and Instagram obsessed locals and tourists.
So, I'll take you around to see some of the murals and post graffiti, as well as "Soi Heng Tai" - an old Chinese Mansion that has been turned into a cafe'/scuba diving school (Yes, you read that right!) before we end up where we started, by the Chao Praya riverbank. - Enjoy !

Great tour of the area Thomas! Coming from New York and living through the 70s, graffiti or street art holds a place in my heart. Sharing art with the public for free is a wonderful practice. Some really beautiful works on the walls. Changes the awareness of the neighborhood, hopefully making it more interesting and inviting. I love street art. They are a freer form of expression. The tuk tuk passing was a gem along with the river boat! Real Thailand sights!
Hello Thomas! It's a very interesting street with art. It also doesn't have that many tourists and your cinematic impressions are, as always, a pleasure to watch. it reminds me of my trip in NZ to the art deco city of Napier where there are pictures on the walls all over the city. (As you've probably seen.) Bangkok really has many facets. you always take your "Ambassador" role very seriously. It's a pleasure to travel with you.

Yes, indeed, not many "traditional tourists" at least, and I put it like that because there were quite a lot of people taking photos for their Instagram I think. Absolutely being " ambassador" is serious business, not to be taken lightly, haha.. Awesome, my great friend!! Indeed, you can somehow see the traces of Chinese culture in this beautiful place!! With each video of yours I come across an increasingly exotic and surprising thailand!! The graffiti on the walls is truly works of art! Those paintings on the walls...are they on display at all times? I must admit that it is a charm to see these works distributed so harmoniously!!
