Tip for anyone trying to hunt the flabebe: its best when its raining. all the non shiny flabebe will fly away and the shiny ones will stay in place when they spawn. it becomes an afk farm essentially since there's no need to picnic reset with all the non shinies flying out of range.
Thanks for this tip!! It super helped it randomly started raining as I was reading your comment and I was like "Oh??" and waited like 3 minutes and bam! Shiny Flabebe dancin' in the rain!
Did this get patched? My game stopped doing it.
It specifically happens when it’s thunder storming - solely rainy weather will not cause them to fly away, unfortunately.

@@tylerhuyser6262 I have been trying for 7 hours and no thunderstorm yet :( . Got a shiny petilil faster than a thunderstorm. Is there any way to change the weather?
This video was a life saver. Flabebe was one of the last shinies I was missing. I made a few attempts and tried using the Home zoom trick but it was so grainy I couldn't tell if they were shiny or not. So I tried just auto battling every one that spawned but didn't have any luck. I completely forgot about the camera. Tried again using the first person camera and found the shiny in about 4 minutes. I'll definitely try to get all the other colors once I finish the shiny dex.

Just wanted to say thanks as I used this to complete a full shiny form collection of all the flabebe evolutionary line. All 15 in my home account. Was reminded to come back and say thanks after seeing the new update fixed the outbreak spawns on the map so you can actually use outbreaks to form hunt now. Still I'm happy I did it this way, plus flabebe outbreaks are rarer than florges outbreaks.
A bonus to make Flabebe much easier is to go to this spot during a thunderstorm. All of the regular ones will blow away and the shiny will stay. The will respawn every two seconds.
For sure, wish it was easier to make those thunderstorms spawn and the duration is limited but ya that’s the best strat 💪🏽🔥
I got lucky when I found mine. I was on my 3rd or 4th sandwich when it started to thunderstorm.

As of the Teal Mask Update, the other 4 Flabebe colors can spawn in outbreaks. However, i cant get a Flabebe outbreak to spawn at all, only Floette and Florges (the other 4 colors of them can be in outbreaks too btw, got several Blue Floette and Florges outbreaks)
Flebebe is 1 of the few I am missing thank you so much.

I just went there, after doing the invasions to get all four colors, to try to look for white flabébés and the little guy waiting for me at the flowers spot was a full odds shiny blue flabébé 😂

i have hatched probably close to 1000 blue flower flabebe eggs this week alone with absolutely nothing to show for it and i found your video and started up a fairy sandwich in that location and in less than a minute found a shiny blue flower flabebe!!! i'm done hatching eggs 🥳🥳 thank you for the tip!!
update: i now have all shiny flabebe colors except red, and got enough shiny yellow flower flabebe to evolve some of them and complete the line!! i'm very happy and now i don't have to sos chain in usum to get some of the colors anymore like i was planning to do~

Floette can be done on the north flower beach and if you want the white flower variant only then do a fairy sandwich in area zero in the open area

I think the combination of herba mystica corresponds to the color of flabebe and flotette. I used sweet+salt hm thrice and I got 3 red petaled shiny flabebe. When I used salt+salt hm, I got an orange petaled shiny flabebe and flotette. Will try salt+sour hm next

I hate the way you pronounce Flabébé, but I love your content.
For context the e with a mini forward slash above it makes a noise like the Canadian "eh". So bébé is the same sound twice and not said like you would for "baby".
I accept all dislikes coming my way for pointing this out.
