- What is the hardest Pokemon to shiny hunt in Scarlet and Violet? Of course, the answer is anything that's so small you can barely see it! That's why I decided to shiny hunt a set of all five colors of Flabebe. In this epic challenge of vast proportions comparable to the likes of challenges made by Trails Pokemon and Nokimon, I hope to both entertain and inform you on how to get these shiny Flabebe for yourself with as little hassle as possible...
... or so I thought. These hunts didn't quite all go my way, but you'll have to watch to find out!

Tynamo and Flabebe are competing for “worst shiny hunt for my eyes”. Tynamo might have the edge because water is so laggy in this game 😂

Of course the outbreak event that started yesterday makes this sooooooo much better. Imagine being one of those people who hunting a shiny authentic sinistea before the last update fixed nearly every outbreak and now you can get authentic only outbreaks.
Yeah, when I saw the news of these new outbreaks, I couldn't believe it 😂
Back in April when I did this the outbreaks for Flabebe were always just red lol
One thing I remember about flabebe in XY is that without knowing what and how shiny Pokémon look like, I once thought that the blue flower flabebe was shiny 😅
(i was 10 when XY came out and I was a new baby fan of the franchise)
The multiple colored forms are often a point of shiny confusion for new players 😂
I always thought there was a purple flower flabebe, don’t know how I started thinking it existed but it was there in my mind 😔

The Flabébé line is one of my favorite Fairy types, and of those, my favorite one of the blue one. But that is mostly because my favorite color is blue so I am biased toward anything that is blue even if I don't like it.

Now that you went through this warm-up, the real challenge is for you to go for Vivillon and all the different forms 😂
I have no idea how I'd even begin that tbh 😂
I don't have X and Y from other regions, and there's only one Vivillon form in this game haha
@@SolisAstral Yeah, it would be a nightmare. The trick regarding the thunderstorm to filter the Flabebe was great, maybe other flying Pokemon like Hoppip could be filtered in the same way. I haven't tested it out but it's just super useful for shiny hunts.
@juanjodpr yes, Hoppip does work the same way! There are a few others, too. I think maybe Cutiefly from the DLC? And Bramblin for sure.

I had to come and check someone hunting one...as I'm playing my copy of Violet now, and I was on my way to a Finizen outbreak for shiny hunting...and I just ACCIDENTALLY ran towards a group of flabebe (couldnt see them cuz too small) and the one I JUST happened to run into was a random shiny flabebe, imagine my face finding one by ACCIDENT. (The one I found was the blue flower variant btw)
Id be happy with just ONE damn htunderstorm while i was flabebe hunting. Nope....as soon as my sandwich runs out, storm starts. Or as soon as I make a sandwich...the stupid storm stops.

in usum I’ve been sos hunting a white flower flabebe, and I’ve only found 2 shiny yellows

A ton spawn near the fairy star base
You didn't need to use up so much herba man, just set a save right before setting the picnic up to make the sandwich :0 then when the timer runs out, if the sandwich doesn't give you the shiny, you can just quit without saving and you'll still have your herba :]

I used to think white flabebe was shiny
I got 2 so far during the event!!! I'm gonna get them all, 100%

@SolisAstral Yeah, really sucks it didn't happen earlier🥲. I had red and blue flower, I got orange flower and I'm in a white flower outbreak! My red flower happened to have an uncommon mark so that was awesome!

How do you know from the camera?
The camera gives a much closer view of the Flabébé, therefore making it easier to distinguish the shiny from regular

Go to where you find the ice block Pokémon they are 100% common there
Those are Floette, Flabèbè is a bit more difficult, which is why I chose to hunt it instead

I hunted these using Masuda for all the forms. It's too tiny for me and my eyesight is awful.
How many total eggs did it take?
@SolisAstral To be completely honest I've never counted eggs in all 10 years of Masuda Methoding. I'd say it took me at least a month or 2.
next hunt vaporeon in area zero its the hardest one to hunt there without getting 1000 buizul or golduck.
Y'know, I have been wanting to get a full set of shiny Eeveelutions...
Before the video is over, I predict the white Flabebe to be first.

To answer your first two questions, yes I could see it, the purple sticks out fairly easy
