- I'll be shiny hunting EVERY SINGLE POKEMON in the Teal Mask DLC in the hopes of completing the Kitakami shiny dex!
With over 190 shinies I need to find and tick off our list, this is gonna be one of the craziest shiny hunting challenges I'll ever do!

They should add a reward for getting shinies in a shiny dex , like the regular dex. Maybe the reward could be a shiny mythical or a shiny Pokémon who is usually shiny locked like a legendary or starter

there is a shiny pokedex in pokemon go it just doesnt give any rewards. i wish in sv itd at least highlight the pokemon you have the shiny of with a different colour in the pokedex.

Hell yeah it was. I shiny hunted tynamo for over 6 hours with no luck, and gave up for like a week. But then I came back and literally three minutes in I found the shiny tynamo, idk. The shiny gods giveth and the shiny gods taketh away

I finally got my dlc 2 weeks ago and have set my own challenge: I can only capture it if it’s a shiny! Apart from the new legendary and the two I traded over for violet exclusives , I’m slowly getting there :D

The arrokuda hunt reminds me of the on time I was walking around Palmer before the teal mask and ran into a shiny cloyster. It was also night and very hard to see it especially because it was in a river.

Being yellow colour blind makes hunting some shinys next to impossible but makes cutiefly really easy 😂 but dam Pokémon can we get colour blind settings
The arrokuda is like tynamo for me... I was fighting a few near west paldea, and the tynamo ran into me rather than me running to it

You didn’t need to give bisharp the crest, you just needed to knock out 3 bisharp with pawniard according to my testing. I don’t know why that’s still a misconception about kingambit but hey, do what you will with that information, I don’t really care.
The continued confusion is probably because, while your bisharp does not need to hold the Leader's Crest, the three bisharp you knock out do need to be holding it, and the only bisharp that spawn while holding it are those in a pack spawn with Pawniard.
I remember getting the level 100 magikarp in platinum and being so confused

I don’t know what way you play your Switch on, but in handheld mode I have not once had extreme lag at the Crystal pool. In the underground area beneath it where Feebass spawn I do have trouble but not their. Casseroya Lake in the base game is unbearable to be at, however.

The Bisharp that you are trying evolve into Kingambit does not need to hold the Leader’s Crest,@Jayden Wilson. You just have to beat three Bisharp that lead a pack of Pawniard(which hold the Leader’s Crest)to evolve it.
i think it does need the leader’s crest.

Just to let everyone know, I've tested this and you actually don't need your Bisharp to be holding the Leader's Crest. It's the WILD ones that need to be holding it

I was shiny hunting salandid cuz I didn’t have it yet. I didn’t really care if it was a male or female, even though it would have been cool if it was female. Then like 15 minutes later the first one I found was female :)
God, I did the shiny female salandit hunt once, I feel your pain!
After 2 shiny males I was too stubborn to just do a salazzle outbreak... 6 male shinnies total before finally getting a female on the 7th, which statistically is good odds but still took a long ass time 😂

Arrokuda was by far the most painful hunt for me. i unfortunately found a random one that i killed because i forgot to save before entering the battle. so i wanted to find another one to feel better after the accident. and bro this cristal pool is so freaking annoying. i lost like 2 sandwiches because i saved in front of 2 Arrokuda that weren’t even shiny because the reflects of the crystals, the lighting and them being under the water most of the time made me think that they were shiny. hunting there was painful, lagging in circles for hours, but i’m now the (kinda) proud owner of a shiny Arrokuda
I would love to do this challenge, but I have the weirdest shiny luck in this game. It seems like no matter what, I can never get a shiny I'm actually hunting for, either something completely random pops up nearby or I'll just run into one randomly while not even trying to hunt! Within the first ten to twenty minutes of even starting my save file, I ran into a shiny Wiglett! Then the first pokemon I tried to hunt was Sandyghast, I got Pawniard instead. There was also the time I was just wandering around and I ran into a shiny Goomy, and literally not even a minute later a shiny Chewtle spawned in sleeping right next to where I found the Goomy! Also for my first shiny in Kitakami, I was hunting in a Lycanroc outbreak because I really love the blue of that shiny, when a shiny Noctowl just flew right in front of me. I also have a Glimmora, Sudowoodo, and Timburr, all randomly encountered during my playthrough. Idk, I just find it weird lol. Btw I do have the shiny charm, but for a lot of those I didn't and I've only ever made like three sparkling sandwiches (I have horrible luck with getting Herba Mystica from raids) all of which were used on a Mimikyu hunt that went terribly so I gave up ^^'

I’ve gotten at least two different Feebas outbreaks from date skipping for different outbreaks, no boosts

I must’ve been so lucky cause I found shiny female salandit on literally my very first hunt for it without any males whatsoever
Fun fact: you don’t have to give your bisharp a leader’s crest to evolve it. I didn’t and I have a lvl 100 kingambit named kleaver (formerly Whitebeard)
Bisharp doesn't need to hold the crest to evolve btw
I got very lucky today, I reset for other raids, found a feebass raid, used a level 3 water sandwich and got 2 shiny feebass.
