  • Have you heard of or tried out the CNC-Q1?
    In this video we dive right into a CNC Q1 Tattoo Machine Review!
    We unbox, we go over the cosmetics, we disassemble, reassemble, the machine, we take a look at the motor, we test the performance, and more!!
    I am going to give the CNC-Q1 a 2 thumbs up and a 5 stars and here is why! In my honest opinion the Q1 is super user friendly and by that I am referring to the build of the machine. The Q1's build is very simplistic and disassembles into 3 different parts. We have the grip section, the housing/body section and the motor section.
    It can be assembled easily and it can be sterilized easily as well. The Q1 has a Faulhaber motor which for me personally is a motor I can depend on upon tattooing. The motor alone sold me on the Q1.The Q1's design and feel is of quality. In my hand it has a nice overall balanced feel and the machine itself feels of a high quality. When we purchase a machine from the CNC website we also get a 1 year warranty on the machine.
    Overall these are some of the reasons I personally love the Q1. I will be using this machine for my upcoming tattoos and for some episodes for the follow along series. If you haven't hit that subscribe button and ring that bell as I will be bringing more videos like this.

    I notice you adjust the depth before even fully wrapping the machine. It's happened to me many times that a certain depth adjustment will not work well on a different cartridge and so I have to adjust it mid-session or each time I switch between needles. How do you go about this kind of issue ? thanks

    Did the q1 replace the q2? As I have a q2 and it's awsome however it broke after 3 months of use. And was thinking if this is the newer version I would like to get the q1. Please reply. Thanks

    Thanks for the review once again. What would you recommend? the Q1 or Q2 with a battery or CNC we wireless pen.. how does the falhauber motor compare to the CNC we motor?

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  Před 3 lety +4

      Ohhh that’s another good question!
      I feel the Q1 and Q2 are both awesome and amazing machines because of the various reasons I’ve listed in the reviews. They both pair with a wireless battery well.
      I used the Q1 today on a text tattoo and it pushed and packed with ease. I’ve also used the WE to do small dainty tattoos and larger scaled tattoos as well.
      I’m a personal fan of the motor inside the Q1 and the Q2. In comparison to the WE the Q series motors have less vibration but that’s also considering the fact that the WE had an eccentric wheel motor.
      From my experience with these machines all of the motors do their own thing and offer their own niches. For the essential lining, shading, packing we can really go wrong with any of the cnc machines.

      4mm stroke isn't for greywashing you can buy a 3mm cam and 3.5 cam for your application

      Haha thanks for tuning in bro!
      All around it’s a great powerful machine. As Kelly mentioned the cams are interchangeable so we can for example get a pair of Q1’s and set up the cams differently so the machine can grant us the desired effects. That’s another thing I love about the Q series machines.

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  Před 3 lety

      That’s a good useful question!
      I feel after using the Q1 for some hours today , it can pack color with no problem. The was packing black into some text today and it went off easily. I’m certain the same rule of thumb would apply granted using the correct techniques, inks, etc.

    Also check out Dklab they have a wireless machine that looks just like the fkirons flux and I mean identical, and I have to artist at the studio I'm in and one has the real and one has the Dklab one and it works the same maybe better. The Dklab one is only$300 with extra battery and the flux with extra battery is $1200 well there's nothing more to say. Check it out

    Q3 has a the same motor

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  Před 3 lety

      Based off of the specifications provided to me I can not be certain that the Q3 has a Faulhaber motor. However I can reach out to cnc direct to confirm.
      Reason I say that is because it’s listed as a German motor on the site for the Q3.

    • @gotink6tattoos561
      @gotink6tattoos561 Před 3 lety +1

      That's what I mean by that because of the language barrier of CNC s reps they all say that but I only noticed because I bought a Hyperion rotary from ultimate and the bishop wand both have that falhauber motor and the back of the motor on both of those machines are engraved with falhauber motor and those don't but u can do good work with any machine it's the person in most cases. I am sure you have heard of fkirons flux well it's$1200. Check out a company in china called Dklab they are coping it. So you can get it for$300 and there are some good reviews. But in any case the q2 and Q3 are good machines

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  Před 3 lety

      @@gotink6tattoos561 oh dang man, I see what you’re saying about that Dklab flux like machine. It looks so identical. Have you tried it yourself? You think it’s worth the price?

    • @gotink6tattoos561
      @gotink6tattoos561 Před 3 lety

      I watched a review from a professional artist that says that it is but for the price I have been thinking about grabbing one. If I could give back all the machines I have bought in the last five years I would get the axys Valhalla pen I used one that another artist in the studio I work at has and man it's just nice to be able to do any piece that comes in whether black and grey to a mandala. The only thing that makes me reluctant about that do or the real flux is I like to know if I forget to charge or the battery crapps out well u can't hook up direct. Honestly u can buy a 4mm cam from CNC the Q2 I have to say I like it. I have alot of hrs on it and other than a name and suped up motor it is exactly the same size as the wand I have.

      Just wanted to give you a heads up I think you have enough talent that you don't need to keep spending your hard earned dollars on a ton of machines. Even with that being said kwadron has a really good machine also called the fox v3 and it's supposed to be the bees knees right now.
