I was told that you can't do the ones at the rear but obviously you can, I've got projectors that say GTi when you open the doors. Looking forward to fitting them
Hey mate, thanks for the video. I followed your instructions and it works great. Can you however point out early in your video that the back door pins and the frond door pins are not the same. The front ones are the shorter pins and the rear are longer. Just in case someone tries to force a long pin in a short block. I did and needed to get a new pin from the dealer. Great work though!! Thanks again.

Thanks friend, do you know how many ohms those resistors are? Did it work for you without resistance and the burnt out light indicator did not come on? Regards.
great video !! only my projector lights came in with different wire colors and since those are LED I wouldn't want to plug them in opposite ways xD would really be awesome if you included pins polarity in description or at least some wiring diagram that you used btw i have 11 jetta tdi with premium sound system and everything looks SAME only the wiring inside is different :(
I have Golf mk6 2012 European Version. I've tried to do this exactly as your video but I notice holes 4 and 14 are already occupied!!! Can I use 5 and 15 as they still are empty???
Hello. I have a Golf 5 from 2003. On the front doors my windows regulator motors doesn't have the pins installed. On the driver side with part number 1K0959793C, only have the 19 pin. On passenger side with part number 1K0959792C, the 18 and 19 pin is not available. Is there other way to install the door warning lights without these pins?

It did not for me, if for some reason it does just add a led resistor and lights gone :)

I did not understand the last phase of the computer, what should I do? Then another question must necessarily remove all the wires and the panel?

So I just followed the video. My front 2 doors aren’t working. I followed the video pins are in the ones u said. I have a 2012 mk6 golf tdi. 4door.
I bought just the lens can I order the wires separately? If so do you have a link so I can get these installed I'm really excited

lol might mess with the bcu not the ecu :P might work i dont know for sure could always check with your local tuners or tuner shop :)

I would double check all pins are seated properly in the connectors
