for the 2wd stampede in particular, i would suggest the kimbrough servo saver 124 large. its 7-8 dollars which makes it twice as much as the stock one, but it is significantly stronger with a longer lasting spring that will take big hits and not break your servo or come apart itself. the stock ones have a weak spring and the shell will warp or break easily. that would be my #1 upgrade for the stampede after getting a servo. i also prefer running the 3.5mm adjustable caster links and steering links for increased durability instead of the 3mm in the front or the stock plastic that breaks easily. also aluminum tie bar in the front to save your hinge pins from getting bent is only $10. also the stock shock towers go pretty easily, the rpm nitro rustler shock tower with rpm slash body mounts is the most durable options about $10/ea
Jesse - thank you! two tips in and you solved so many beginner questions as to how do I make the Traxxas more durable for my kids! Really appreciate it!
Thanks for this video. Very informative. My son just got the Bigfoot and hit the curb mid wheelie and the caster plate broke. Subscribed to your channel. Have a great day
Keep in mind, the Bandit front arms and caster blocks are different from the Slash, Stampede and Rustler. They are a bit shorter and "beefier", the caster blocks also use a thicker hinge pin. Other than that, they are the same up front.
I'm currently switching out lot's of the same parts and I'm going with green and blue colors. Slowly getting back into my Stampede right now. Thank You so much for the information Brother. I greatly appreciate it Brother.

@@RCsBigAir I just successfully did this to my 10.year old. He loves it I dont care. I wish I bought him a arrma now tho after hearing how the gear dies out. I got a slash ultimate last week after years not playing. Today I got my son a stock slash
I add rpm parts to all my cars before I put the first battery in them just cause I know stuff going to break and rpm parts are bullet proof and they have the best customer service ever just like traxxas!!!
We all like rom parts. They dont break. The aluminum bearing carriers are the way to go. One thing you missed on too 5 and i guess this is depending on how alhard you go but i upgraded my shocks. Not just the caps. I hit a jump on one front tire and bent a shock piston like it was nothing. Upgraded to traxxas titanium ones which come with aluminum caps.
@@JesseBMotors anytime. Once the brushed motor goes out on my daughters slash I'll upgrade it as well with the upgrades you mentioned in this video. Thanks
Another valuable Video!! I've tried to avoid buying Traxxas - because of how they caused the entire Crawler Market to RAISE their Prices - and when the TRX-4 first came out, it was nearly $500!! But because every kid in America bugged their Daddies until they bought one... They sold so many, the other Manufacturers said "Hey! We could be getting more for ours!!" So everybody's prices went UP😠😡😭 However.... I want to get a Basher!! Been a long time. Aarma and Redcat make some good ones... But I KNOW from experience that a Traxxas can REALLY take a BEATING!!! And for 30 years, RPM has made the strongest upgrades, period. So I guess that's on my list also! 😉 Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Do you have a lift kit on this thing? Youve got some crazy ground clearance and id love to do that on mine. It also looks like you have an aftermarket chassis if im not mistaken
Ever since I bought my traxxas bandit 3 years ago and I use it here and there once or twice a week nothing has ever broken in it. Except the shocks got saggy but that’s because idk what I’m doing and the body has cracks because of the bashing. It’s the only traxxas vehicle of mine that’s lasted this long every other some thing always brakes and it takes longer for the parts to get here before some things else brakes.
All stock 2 wheel drive stampede already lipo battery and charger and battery extison kit what’s the first thing I should upgrade on the body for flying around a 2 ac dirty yard with a few small jumps
Great video! Question: I followed the link to the zoskay servo and 2 different ones are listed. The first has a 270 degree turn radius and the other 180. Which one did you get for that Stampede?
@@JesseBMotors got the servo and am having problems. Seems like the servo is deeper than the standard traxxas servo. As a result the RPM shock tower is preventing it from being installed. Did you encounter any such issues or have an RPM front shock tower?
The green is a grave digger package traxxas offered they just a different color but rpm also offers green better parts but also in red black and orange no I don’t work for rpm just the best upgrade you can add to any rc car or truk
Iv just bought one of these what's it name lol I got it from a guy who bought it 25 years ago and never used it for it for £80 lol but iv broke the rear diff need new one lol or new gears but don't know what traxxas model it is lol

what control angle in the servo

Got them on Amazon. This is my affiliate link. Mxfans alloy hubs

Straight at the box my rustler is great crashed it hard it just won't break
They do fine in warm weather. I’ve broke all my parts in winter. Thanks for watching 👍
I'm looking for a bigger suspension kit for my bandit
Nothing that I know of.
What motor and esc are you running? Should I swap to the traxxas VXL motor?
If you got the brushless setup I would keep it. I’m running a castle sidewinder 4 setup. Thanks for watching 👍🏁
Same setup. Show a fan install for the motor.
I jump this a lot and it would probably kill a fan if I put one on it. Motor is in a bad location for it. Thanks for watching 👍🏁
So i actully justbought a fan but if ur jump and doging it the i dont suggest one but it rly does help the motor from not overheating
