I agree that Drew should lose due to a CM Punk interference. The problem is that Drew is the Heel and Punk is the Babyface. Punk costing Drew the WHC would make him a heel to the Scottish audience. I don't know if they would risk that.

Damian Priest sees Judgment Day fall apart and a segment shows Dom and Liv making out, and then Mami could return making him leave the match to fix the Judgment day issues. Thats a little bit of an overbooking idea though

I think AJ gets the OC to take Cody's mom and tell him until he says it that they'll keep (submission maybe?) on her. This would lead to one more match down the line giving WWE time to decide what they wanna do with both of them next

I have cm punk screwing drew and priest retaining, and Priest making it to summerslam where he’ll drop it to Gunther plus if drew wins I feel there’s not much worth in him having a 2 month reign to lose it to Gunther, where him potentially having a match with cm punk at summerslam (if he’s ready to go but main point at some point) that’s a blood feud in itself and doesn’t need the title in my opinion

As much as they've been paying homage to other feuds, I wouldn't be surprised if AJ plays the recording of Cody saying "I quit" to steal it. It's only fitting that Cody would lose the title to something The Rock did to Mankind. It would also let Cody go back into "chase" mode, give AJ one last well deserved run before he actually does retire, and it sets up the trilogy at either MITB or SummerSlam.
Where does Damian Priest goes? Simple, into Main Event Status, aka there’s no going back ti being on teams and the judgement day or any mid card matches, he’s straight going to world champion status.
I'd say Drew would win IF Gunther wasn't the contender at SummerSlam. You can't tell me that a guy who couldn't beat gunther for a mid card title on 3 occasions can suddenly beat him for the world title.
if i were booking drew vs damien, i would have drew finally get his crowning moment and huge pop in front of the scottish crowd. then at money in the bank, you could have drew and damien run it back and have punk cost drew this time and damien regains the title going into summerslam. then we have cm punk vs drew mcintyre without a title, because it doesn’t need one. and we can build to damien priest vs gunther for the world title. that way damien gets another chance with the world title and he isn’t cut too short and drew gets his crowning moment. sometimes a hot potato with the title is what needs to be done
