@@Roll2Videos well starting over because I just had a fire and it was a total loss. have 2kw of panels. just got my EG4 6,000 what split phase. that's replacing all my cheap chinese stuff. my old system ean great for 4 years, ran my water pump, window air charger my tool batteries and 22 volt trailer batteries. I was only 24 volt and a 3kw inverter so I had to turn off a/c to microwave or run my bladder pump. but I had a little control center on my kitchen table with remote start of my generator so it really wasn't a hassle for me. we are 100% off grid. building a cabin
just sold our house and the next day we got the call our travel trailer on our lot was burning! bad timing. but now we are buying high end equipment that is u.l. listed so we can transfer it over to the cabin legally when the time comes. my wife said the daly bms came yesterday and hoping to get the 16 lithium batteries next week. building a block shed with metal roof to contain all our electrical lol as we are very paranoid of a fire again. I suspect it was my window air, as it blew the breaker twice 5 days before the fire while I was up here. I shrugged it off as just being a hot day....
should have shut everything down when I left. but I got spoiled coming up to a cool trailer, with cold food and beer in the fridge when i arrived!@ lol
never in a million years thought this would every happen. now i have till October 30th to get everything back to liveable and we are here full time as of that date!!
sorry for the book.... so I'll be runnking 16-285 amp lithium with a daly 250 amp BMW into the EG4 6000 kw hybrid charger, 12 panels, 4 strings into a 4 string echo distribution box with breakers, out into EG4, out into a sub-panel to my loads which is basically 30 amps to travel trailer. 20 Amps to bladder pump, 15 amps auxiliary gfi receptacle. my 6500 generator will be power in for now until we get the house check, then we arr buying a 24 kw propane generac with auto start triggered from the EG4 when needed.
really appointed you techies sharing your knowledge, no way I could have gotten off grid which has been my dream for years with your help!
oh ya, I have a lead acid back up ( 4 x 100 amp ) for really cold mornings when the bms temps out.
your battery monitor will come in really handy for keeping tabs on when I need to run generator until I can figure remote monitoring on the EG4.

Hey bud, I just installed the KG140, it's similar. You should try to update the firmware, it may give you the Low Temp protection feature.
I did one update initially, but that feature wasn't listed still, but I just read that you need to do two updates... I haven't ran the second one yet myself.
If you just press Update, the app icon just swirls and hangs. The process to do it is: Unplug Temp sensor if connected, short those two Temp sensor pins, THEN click the Update icon.

Good job, nice review. Does seem like a nice little device & App, I would get the screen also as a backup in case something goes wrong with the Bluetooth down the track.
Im presently considering different ways I could setup a ‘Solar Dump’, to offload power when batteries are full into a smallish Hotwater system for a bus with a 24v 3kw AIO system. My 10kw of batteries are full by midday so I figure I could use that extra power available to heat some water instead of using gas.

I have 4 gel batteries of 105 amps.
and I connected these batteries to each other in parallel.
As a result of the parallel connection, a power of 105 x 4 = 420 amps was generated.
that is, + poles and - poles are connected to each other. and I have a charger that charges 50 amps. I want to see the current amperage, the charge level of the batteries, and the amperage, volts and battery percentage after the charge is finished. Will the tool you shared this video of work for me? • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  Před 7 měsíci

Yes this will work for you, With your type of battery it falls under lead acid. Lead acid shouldn't be discharged below 50% state of charge. Therefore below 11.4V.
You have 210 Ah If you discharge more your battery won't last a very long time.

Smart phones are an addictive waste of time that distract you from life itself as you are looking down at them. A home PC is all anyone needs. While you are gawking at your phone for this unneeded function you are missing life as it passes by. A voltmeter is fully adequate.
A simple light weight digital voltage meter is cheap and there are no radio emissions, no $1,000 investment, no monthly service fee, no need to keep it charged and no way to hack it. There is no wait time at all to glance at a meter and if you lose it in the water you won't cry. In addition, when you carry a phone you will never learn self sufficient navigation.

Being a person concerned about the environment I made a commitment to leave off my electricity guzzling desktop in favor of a “docked” galaxy S10 displayed on my tv (dex mode) I use it as a dashboard for tasmota devices, my security cameras and this meter via the Bluetooth app ? So, I hook up this device, 8 vertical feet away from my basement and.. it doesn’t receive the meters Bluetooth signal. I remove the phone from the dock, go down stairs, receive it then never loose the signal UNTIL the exact moment I reDOCk my phone. All of my other Bluetooth devices work fine in dock but this app Doesn’t ! Furthermore it does the exact thing with my docked S6 tablet on a completely different dock and well filtered power supply. Whatever the issue is we live in a crappy world where our consumer protection agency has yielded to crappy Chinese manufacturing and engineering . You can start with that when the batteries are full, but when your batteries reach 11.4V, that should be your 0℅ with lead acid. Then do math and input your accrual capacity over all.

In Android on my tablet as well in iOS on my iPhone, I already Uninstalled the App and downloaded again but no change at all. I also tried to set a different pass code, on the screen module, to connect the Bluetooth but also that didn't work. I disconnected the main module from the power and reconnect, no change. I did a full reset on the screen module, no change. Still doesn't show up in iOS. Shows up in Android, asking for connection code, but doesn't make the connection :-( 😢 What to try or do next to make this work ??
